I tried them on a Sunday buffet which they claim to be super special. The idlis were solid rubber like masses, the coconut chutney stank of old coconut, the chicken 65 was so tough and cold it was like chicken jerky. Appetizers like pakodas, aloo tikki were all cold and dried up. We went there at peak lunch time so there was no excuse for stale food. There Nans were good but the dishes in the buffet were Mediocre to bad. I live biryani and they actually had goat biryani which I was thrilled about. Unfortunately the goat was not cooked well. It was hard to chew. The worst was that they charged my 3 year old daughter who barely had a small piece of nan 9.95 for a kid buffet. That was a total surprise. Not seen that in any respectable restaurant. It was really a disappointment. Bad food, unapologetic and unempathetic staff. I would recommend not to waste your money. Never going there again.

My girlfriend and I try to have a meal here once every few weeks. The wait is never long, though the dining room can be a little cramped. I usually order the Chicken Korma, its the best version of this dish Ive found since moving to Connecticut. Other favorites include the Chicken Tikka off the Tandoori menu, its amazingly tender. The Specials Menu is usually pretty inventive and tastes delicious, but can be a bit expensive compared to the rest of the menu. The naan is pretty good but nothing special. Overall its a great little Indian restaurant thats pretty easy to find in the middle of Fairfield. Worth a taste!

First, the positive: authentic Indian, great buffet, decent portions for the price (except the okra app, see below), very accommodating wait staff (minus the owner). Now, the negative: I asked the owner to suggest an appetizer and he recommended something that was akin to over-salted, french-fried okra with a sprinkle of mysterious seasonings, for nearly $10 -- how lame! Overall: decent. If youre in the area and cant make it to New Haven or Norwalk, you should definitely try the buffet. If youre closer though, try the place in Shelton.

IAM GIVING A SINGLE STAR JUST BECAUSE PEOPLE SHOULD NOT THINK THAT I FORGOT GIVING A STAR.....(I DIDNT WANT TO GIVE A STAR AT ALL) WE ORDERED A SPICY CHICKEN BIRYANI BUT THEY SEND US A RICE WHICH IS HEATED UP WITH GREEN CHILLI SAUCE. ITS SO DAMP AND DOESNT TASTE LIKE BIRYANI, FORGET ABOUT THE TASTE IT DOESNT EVEN SMELL LIKE A BIRYANI. ONE THING I APPRECIATE IS THAT THEY REALLY SEND VERY SPICY FOOD. ***** YOUR BIRYANI SUCKS ***** THANKS FOR NOTHING.

Lousy food of starters in the Lunch buffet, that too on a day like Sunday is not at al acceptable. Main course was good but not great. We went on a Sunday afternoon and the restaurant was not occupied with much customers. After some time the staff members put off the AC and when we enquired about AC being on or off, he just said Yes. it is Off. Neither was he courteous enough to ask at least if you need the AC.

Worst ambience .. came all the way from Milford to have dinner The timings are mentioned something after reaching the restaurant staff says something.. Never trust the timings on the website.. please call them an make sure wthr they take people or not.. They were not even sorry for the inconvenience.. When questioned they were so rude lying that they mentioned about the party...

We had dinner in this restaurant and found five days later our credit card statement showing double the charge than what it is suppose to be. On calling them they didnt even apologize and took almost 5 to 10 days to settle the $$ charged extra. We decided not to go this restaurant anymore. Food was also not that great....

Didnt honor the value of a groupon even though our total bill was $50 over the value of the groupon and all most 3x the cost of the actual groupon. Poor customer service from the serving staff. Wont be going back.

Amazing food and service. They can customize the food with your desire and spice level. Never seen this much variety of indian food along with indian beers and wine.

Not even worth a single star. Saltless food which they are very well aware off but not ready to correct it. I am sure I am not the first person to complain about it.

Went there for lunch. Cold inside restaurant, plates are cold, buffet was barely stocked, food was bland. Only positive is the wait staff are nice. Not going back.

Lol... They call it Indian food ? No toppings on gajar ka halwa, frozen gajar ka halwa is better than what I had. Poor preparation and poorer presentation.

I love their Chicken Korma. I get take out from this restaurant and its almost always divine. It is pricey however, and more of a treat once in awhile.
