Food is ok. Some people rave about the food. I think its ok. Had pasta once and had a bit too much oil. So it might be that the place is tasty without minimizing the unhealthy ingredients. So in the end I would not consider a dish of this type soemthing to rave about. Hey, kool aide is great when you load even more sugar into it. Hell why not cook with lard. Well perhaps I am being overly critical. Check for yourself, maybe it depends on the dish. One think is for sure. The beer selction is aweful. You guys really need beers on tap. It comes across as a half a$$ establishment when you dont have beer on tap. Also, the place is becoming a bit ghetto. Folks you need to find an identity for your self. and step it up a notch. Are you a hip hop joint? a place for dinning? A Bar? But there is no tap? Huh? cmon it hurts inside deally. it hurts my feelings.....

Terrible customer service. Last time we tried eating at Metric there were two guys who wouldn't let us enter to use our groupon unless we paid a cover charge for the comedy show. Surprised us...there was no mention of that with the groupon or on the Metric website.
We have enjoyed the food several times but the atmosphere of Metric has been on a decline and we will not return. If you go prepare for very slow service and loud bar patrons who will whip their heads to stare down people walking in and interrupt your meal with their noise. There is usually a dj or something on the weekends so they might walk back and forth near your table bringing in equipment.
Bottom line for the price you can enjoy a better experience someplace else. I personally will never go back.

Grossly unimpressive. As we were walking towards the place, we were stopped by a homeless man who appeared to be friends with the guy inside. When we walked in the place was deserted. The only person inside was the chef/greeter/bartender/server. He was very pleasant until we sat down, and he called someone on the phone and yelled at them. We didnt want to stay. Outside is old and unkept. Inside is rundown, and dirty. Furniture was in terrible shape, white sofas were black from dirt on bottom half, cushions old, dirty and smelly. Plates still had old food pieces stuck to it. Terrible impression, we didnt end up staying.

Came for my grandmothers birthday so she can enjoy food from her land of Haiti. The waitress was very nice but the food was not that great. The vegatable taste mostly like tomato paste. The chicken was blah and i order steak medium and got it well done. The only reason I giving three stars is because the waitress brought out a banana cheesecake that was delicious and i have eaten here one other time and the food was much better that time. Otherwise this would been a one star only because of the nice waitress.

There shouldnt be any ratings for this place. I came her today 8/20/2016 with my family that I havent seen in years and to come to find out.... we came at 6:45 then sat down n said hi to everyone. Its 7:08 the waiters didnt get to us until 7:30 ish.... we waited for our food for an hour and a half for it.. once the food comes the waiter gives us a pitcher of water and before I drinked it I WITNESS THAT THERE WAS A DIRTY FORK IN THE WATER DONT COME HERE. Love the atmosphere of the place. It cannot be beat! Great service, great food, and awesome drinks. Happy hour here is great as well. The waitstaff rocks as well. They even remember frequent visitors! The food is world-class, cooked with love by a charming chef (he came to our table and spoke to us) who clearly loves food. Staff overall is a 10! Keep it up

Guy at door said he will give my lady friend a deal on admission. Went to park the car, came in and he charged us both $10 to get in a empty boring establishment. Not worth a entry fee!!! Charged us $18 for a corona and Li ice tea!! Their windows are blacked out so you cant see inside!!

Place is very small, food is good but had a very long wait without it being busy. Place is laid-back, not exactly business-like, which is good and bad in some regards. I would say at least worth a try if youve never been.
