This is the best pizza in greater New Britain, bar none. Its the dough -- we opt for the "NY Style" (thin crust) pie, which has a lovely dough which stands up to the ingredients and has a chewy crust. They obviously know their ingredients and how to use them. There are also some entrees which we thought were very ambitious, but they execute them deliciously, and with extra nice touches. Their Gyro platter is interesting in that the ubiquitous lettuce, tomato and onions are co-mingled with Feta cheese. A special burger we ordered recently was delicious -- and a half pound with all manner of great toppings. It was $12 but worth every penny. The home run is the Chicken Piccata entree (conveniently offered in two sizes, medium and large; a nice touch). I could eat this, accompanied by the restaurants addictive Garlic Knots, for a week straight and not get tired of it. Our advice: GO HERE.

Three days ago, I found the most delicious pizza at "Grand Pizza and Restaurant"! I am so satisfied and relieved. I moved to Connecticut 3 years ago, and “woe is me!” to not find a decent pizza in all that time! I tried repeatedly with No Luck, whatsoever. I lamented to family and friends! I am so happy now and I must share this with whoever reads this! I called Grand Pizza’s owner, ”Tommy”, and told him how grateful I am, that he has the “skills” to deliver. Sauce is perfect! Crust is perfect! Toppings are just great. The restaurant business is tough and I wanted him to know how pleased I am and to congratulate his business. People need to hear positive feedback! My parting words to him were “I’ve got your number, Buddy” and I will use it again and again. Yea!!!

I dont know why everybody keep saying this pizza is good. Maybe they never tried a good pizza then. The pizza I ordered came in in 10 minutes. Thats impossible right? Well yea its because they just probably heated it up because it was made before already. And I could taste that because the cheese was dried out and the pizza was almost cold. Another thing is they dont use chicken breast on their pizza instead they are using some cheap chicken tights or drums. Belive me I can taste the difference. I addition to that there was no red sauce on my pizza. Plus I was charged extra for blue cheese like wtf. Are you trying to gain or loose costumers? Waste of money and I dont recommend it. A true pizza lover will know that this is garbage.

I cant believe how fantastic "Grand Pizza and Restaurant" is! The food was great! If you know me, you know I got out to a lot of different restaurants, this place will not disappoint. The owner "Tommy" made sure he came to our table to welcome us and thank us for coming. Even offered us dessert for visiting his restaurant. I took my family and we all were very happy we went. When you can visit this great spot! The menu has a great selection, and I was able to feed my family of four for less than $50.00. This place makes me rethink why do I bother going to chain restaurants.

The place makes really good pizza and they have other stuff too. However the have a bar on the other side of the main entrance and it can become really really noisy, I didnt like that at all.
