Service: 1 star Pizza: 1.5 star First of all, it is heresy to compare this to any respectable pizza destinations, (as one yelper did) for ex: Frank pepes in new haven, Robertas & motorino in Brooklyn, Fireflour in North Dakota, etc. This is how I got to this place, I looked up places along the I-95 that are open past midnight, and find this pizza joint, and according to some reviews its as good if not better than pepes, or Sallys, so I was intrigued. So here is my experience: I walked in on a packed bar, on a Sunday night, and after looking around for a few, I found an empty spot at the bar, and because I came for the pizza, and they told me over the phone that their kitchen is closing @12:30 AM - it was 12:25 AM - I wanted to get my order in ASAP, but it was quite difficult to get the bartenders attention, it took some standing up, walking around a few times to finally get my order in... I ordered the "mashed potato pizza" well done, - according to some thats the pizza to get - the pizza came out, not well done, and missing one of the ingredients, so here is my review on the pizza: There are four categories I judge pizza by: The flavor of the dough, The quality of the crust, the toppings, and the balance of it. Dough Flavor: 0 stars. I couldnt fathom how someone would consider this pizza dough, it had about as much flavor as a piece of cardboard. The Crust: 1 stars. No crisp, no crunch, no char. I Specifically requested well done, but apparently they decided to ignore my request, but still none of the qualities one would expect from any pie. The Toppings: 2 stars. All the toppings felt like out of a can, or microwaved, besides the scallions that they ironically forgot, and had to ask for it separately... And the mashed potatoes!! What about the mashed potatoes should get me excited?? I wonder if the people who wrote raving reviews on how amazing this pizza is, even realized that the potatoes had no flavor what so ever! even the slightest of salt or oil flavor.... (I mean writing a review while high is fine with me, just put a disclaimer up) balance of toppings: 2.5 star they did not add some really interesting toppings, that I had to judge how it fares, but it minimum made sense, it wasnt world class, or really good, it was definitely below average, but I had worse. Bottom line: If you are looking for gourmet pizza, or to try a new style; keep looking! you wont find it here... If you are looking for an average pizza; keep looking! You also wont find it here! dominos, little Caesars, are imo much better, and have better service... Disclaimer: I was there with a friend, and we both had the same opinion about this place, I know my review was a bit harsh, but it had to be written, so other shouldnt fall victim, as I did...

I went with family, and the company I accompanied, consisted of people who knew me by my first name and a woman who knew me mostly by my middle. Seen a side of me that was missing for a long time. You cant create a good memories with family without good food and if your family chooses to go out to do that, you go here. The staff seemed to step it up as it would turned out that my cousins man was a avid customer. After reviewing the menu I could see that neither I nor my girlfriend would eat here unless a review from an average person like me convinced me otherwise, and let me tell ya buddy the Carmines eggplant is excellent. I had my Salmon, an assortment of pizza and hot wings that were a bit better than average. From some of the comments Ive read I see that theyre like all restaurants. I hate to see this restaurant fail because the establishment caters to wealthy regulars with a great restaurant experience. The cook is the most important aspect of any restaurant and the guy nailed it, the staff was friendly and helpful. Our waitress leveraged her up-sell strategies a bit much for my taste but dammit if anyones is going to eat here and the experience and atmosphere is as memorable as I experienced at every table, the most modest of income individuals should and would accommodate to the price. Which should also include a pretty hefty tip, and to those people I say, Enjoy!

Okay, so I am a few months late on writing this, but here it goes... Back in April, I hosted a surprise birthday party (20+ guests) for my boyfriends dirty 30. Not only did they allow us to decorate with giant 30 balloons, but when my bf and I arrived, they were great about keeping the secret and played off the surprise soo well. The staff was friendly despite the fact that a few members of our party had become a little too outspoken, the restaurant was clean, the food was FANTASTIC and they were kind enough to bring us out complimentary shots to celebrate the birthday boy. They were so great that my best friend and I went back to celebrate my graduation. Bartender was awesome (again, stellar service) and the pizza (we had the Blackrocker) was fuego. Easily one of the best places to eat on Fairfield Ave.

This place is AMAZING!! I had them host my 41st birthday party brunch there. I could not have been more disorganized! I had people coming in randomly, not sitting at the same time and ordering drinks haphazardly. They took it all in stride. Always smiling and happy to help everyone!! We all had a BLAST!! They run a great ship there, great food, AMAZING service. Will definitely be back repeatedly!!

Used Trip Advisor to find a Mexican food restaurant while traveling through Corona. This one fit the bill. Chicken fajita, chile rellanos, margarita and of course, Corona beer. Above average plates, mild spices, large quantity. Excellent greeting upon arrival and service. A good find.

this place is in the heart of the Bridgeport business district and easy to get to via 95. the service is prompt and very professional and our server was astute to our questions. the special Josephs Salad for two is enough for four is to die for.

The staff was very friendly and with a smile all the time. They made some recommendations based on what we liked and I have to say, the pizzas were lovely. The bread with oliver oil was nice. It was a good experience. I will repeat when back.

Their Sundays at Carmines meal is the best Italian dish I have ever had. My wife and live a hour and a half away in Cornwall ny and drive out there 5 or 6 times a year for dinner. Friendly staff and great atmosphere too.
