I went there today for lunch. Seated immediately and greeted by a friendly waitress, but after asking for a minute to look at the menu waited another 15 minutes to see her again. They were not at all receptive to 2 simple menu alteration requests that would have been no issue at other establishments. My Caesar salad was unique and flavorful, but extremely laden with oil. The crouton on top was completely soaked in oil like a sponge, was literally dripping down my plate, inedible.

Good Italian food in downtown Hartford. Inside is nicely decorated with typical restaurant-type music playing in the background. Happy hour menus with discounted drinks and food available from 3-6pm and then after 9pm--definitely check these out. Entrees are generously portioned with a decent selection to choose from. Prices are slightly above average on the whole, especially for drinks/wine/beer (so definitely check out the happy hour deals).

I ate lunch at Sorella with several companion from work. We all enjoyed our food; some folks ordered panini and the rest of us ordered pasta dishes. There were vegetarian options for our friends who did not eat meat. You do need to request bread for the table of you would like some. Service was a little slow, though the restaurant was nearly empty. My pasta with broccoli rabe and sausage was cooked to perfection.

If you want to pay good money for mediocre food and terrible serivice, this is the place for you! I have never had such a bad experienced as I did at Sorella. If there is a problem, you will pay for it. If your server makes a mistake, you will pay for that too. Comes out to be a tab too high for anything you recieved. Id stay away and find a place that wants to see its customers again.

Absolutely delicious. Had roasted red pepper salad made w arugula, roasted egg plant and pine nuts, was completely scruptious. Also had wild boar salumi and a sheeps milk cheese as a starter, phenominal. Will come back.

The food is delicous and the menu has recently been updated. The staff is a little brisk and short, not the warmest of attitudes from the few times Ive visited. Prices are a little high as well. Nice ambiance.

Enjoyed the food here. The server was attentive and polite. The food tasted good. Cozy environment. Place is a little expensive. Right next to the cinemark theater so good for dinner after a movie.
