Unprofessional,non-transparent,doesnt know how to treat their long time customers.Until yesterday we ordered from/visited this restaurant quite a few times.Even though their service time is pretty long(close to 45 minutes-1 hour even when the restaurant is empty),it used to get compensated most of the times by good food and warm behavior. However yesterday we had a different experience.Yesterday we ordered a few items from them for home delivery.The food was delivered 30 minutes after the ETA.We had questions regarding the billing as the online prices were not matching up against the billing price.We were not given customer copy of the receipt( The gentleman who delivered the food forgot to bring it),so we took a screenshot of the original bill.The lady(probably the owner of the restaurant) called us and told me that "the billing amout is correct and we are not cheating you". I was surprised.I have gone to so many restaurants and whenever I came across any doubt regarding billing the restaurant manager/owner patiently and politely explained different billing components till we are ok.This is the general protocol to deal with billing related queries.Raising a billing related query doesnt mean I am doubting the other party,I am just seeking a clarification.Even there can be human errors when including and summing up different amounts. I tried to explain that we were not doubting them.The lady was pretty rude during the entire conversation and began explaining the components for additional charge.I was driving that time so couldnt tally it against the original bill.Later after coming home,I saw the bill screenshot and called her up to make sure that I understood her explanation correct.She added some customization charge for ordering goat haleem (in stead of beef haleem) but did not tell us (while taking the order)that there are additional charges involved(example of non transparent behavior).Neither it was mentioned in their online menu pricing.We ordered for butter nan but she delivered plain nuns.In middle of conversation when I was questioning to clarify my doubts she suddenly cut the line yelling "We have other things to do,if you have doubt dont call us"(Example of unprofessional and unruly behavior).So basically for them clarifying clients doubts is not part of their business. The goat haleem for which they charged additional fees for customization was not up to the mark and it doesnt worth the cost.So far we recommended this restaurant to our friends as we had some good experience but after yesterdays bitter experience I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I will no longer give this restaurant my business. I purchased a large gift certificate for my friend and they refused to honor it, even when I came to the restaurant with my friend, the certificate, and my credit card statement showing the payment for the certificate amount. I am livid. In the past, we had occasionally purchased samosas to go, and they were fine, but after basically being called a liar for giving them business, I am done. UPDATE: An hour after I posted this review, an owner called to say they had found the record of my purchase and would credit my credit card account for the amount, if I came to the restaurant. I did so, the next day. They did not apologize, continued to make excuses, and implied they impose an expiration date on their gift certificates, which is illegal in CT (in addition to a federal requirement that no expiration date be sooner than five years from issuance). Two days later, they called to offer the gift certificates value (for free) to my friend - a nice gesture, but too little, too late.

Do not order online for delivery. I ordered through yelp for delivery. The owner called and blasted me for ordering online through a website instead of calling them, complaining that they have to pay commission on delivery. I mean if thats the case then dont sign up for such things. Then he said he is out of Malai kofta, so he would replace it with something else. And then when he read the order back to me, he was missing one entree. I tried arguing with him that I have ordered one more entree and I see that I have paid for it, he said that "you worry about what you pay, I worry about what I see". I mean this is no way to talk to your customers. Then he said that he will just cancel the order. Utterly disappointed since I waited for 45 minutes before they called us.

If i could leave 0 stars, i would. We ordered and all the menu prices were wrong. Ordering experience should have been a sign not to order. We were told the total was $35, my card was charged $45. We were told 45 minutes for our order, we called after an hour and were told 5-10 minutes more. We called when it had been near 2 hours and the woman explained that for her food, it can take awhile as she only has 2 drivers and she is the only Indian place. I said thats not true and she suggested that i go with the other Indian place next time. Heed her advice people, do not order from this restaurant. Oh, p.s. we never were given a receipt, no attempt to have us sign to authorize the charge. Never had an experience quite like this...

Love their food. My favorite is channa masala which they can make vegan. So much better than any Ive had elsewhere. Samosas are nice and fresh too. They are running the place with only a few people which can lead to hiccups in service (i.e. long wait times & they dont always pick up when it is busy). We always keep this in mind before ordering so it doesnt bother us. They are friendly and apologetic for any inconvenience. And the freshness and flavor of the food is worth it in my book.

I would have given 0 stars if that was an option. For my recently placed order, when I called in to enquire the delivery time, I was simply shouted at asking if the food should be delivered uncooked. The person on the other end ultimately started abusing me saying the order might even be delivered beyond the ETA shown on GrubHub, and that he will not do anything about it. He went on to cancel my order for no reason at all. Highly unprofessional and unethical behavior.

The food was amazing! Be prepared to wait for some time for the food to come out as everything is fresh and time is spent on the presentation. Sit back and enjoy your friends and family as you wait, you will find it will be worth it. As we had a reservation in place for a graduation celebration, the owner took the time to present the graduate with a card and best wishes. That was very thoughtful. It was my first visit but it will not be my last. Give it a try!

Food is Great, atleast in my opinion. I ordered Tikki Misala and Chicken Korma both Medium. HOWEVER, their delivery service is TERRIBLE if you use grubhub or eat24. I ordered around 7:40pm then didnt delivery until 10pm 1 hour after they closed and stopped picking up the phone. I was reimbursed the money from the order.

The food was delicious. Bagaray Bairgan (eggplant - the best I ever ate), lamb was tender, very interesting flavor, shish kebab very good but spicy and the bread "haven in the mouth". Waitress was very kind and polite. All dishes were ok priced. Im sorry I live too far from the restaurant to go there regularly.

The setting was clean and cozy. The waitress was informing, welcoming and helpful. The food was excellent and authentic to Pakistani cuisine. As a vegetarian there were plenty of options for me. I definitely plan on returning to dine there again.
