Stopped by Dockers over the July 4th weekend in 2016. I was taking my college-aged daughter to an appointment at the Air National Guard Base near Westhampton and I wanted her to experience Dune Rd. and the Hamptons. We had about an hour for lunch and came across Dockers. We ate at the bar for faster service - no alcoholic drinks, just food and coffee/soda. She had the swordfish tacos and I had a BLT. I was prepared for the high price of dining on Dune Rd. Our seats at the bar had a clear view of the bay and Rune Rd. and the Atlantic Ocean were to our backs. $17 for a BLT is a bit pricey, but it easily contained what was a pound, maybe more, of bacon. It was huge and delicious! She loved her swordfish tacos. While a bit steep, she got the exposure to Dune Rd. that I wanted her to have. And, the lesson that I wanted to convey to her - stay in school, finish your engineering degree on time, and someday you can summer in the Hamptons and be unconcerned about steep prices - was reinforced by our visit to Dockers. Much more than just a lunch, but a unique life lesson in a great setting.

Where do I begin? Before even walking in the door we realized this place was absolutely beautiful, it was packed, live music was playing, people everywhere. Once we made it through the door we were greeted by the sweetest most welcoming smiles, once we were told how long it was going to be we made our way down to their Happy Hour. What a great deal ! 5-7$ drinks and apps. Once we we were buzzed to our table we were yet again greeted by warm smiles. Our waitress was excellent. Very knowledgeable and attentive, even with how busy she was. As we waited for our food we got the pleasure to listen to live music and dance. Once our food came, then came the best part, the view, we got to enjoy our delicious meal with just a jaw dropping sunset. Just breath taking. Id recommend this place to anyone ! Everything was priced just right. Drinks were over the top, food was amazing, and just an overall 10/10 at Dockers Waterside

In spite of it being exceptionaly slow at the time of arrival, and the restaurant clearly being well over staffed. We stared by waiting ten minutes after seating for our waiter to appear and offer us water. Soon after we ordered we had to request bread, and to have a second round of drinks. 40 minutes after we ordered, our waiter informed us that out food would be delayed due to a mistake in the timing of the order. 20 min minutes passed, no waiter, no drinks, one appetizer arrived. After requesting the second one it was brought out immediately, but cold.... to top it all off the people sitting next to us, arrived after us, with similar orders had already eaten, and been served dessert. We canced our entrees, and requested the check. No manger came. No apologies or reparations were made. Its a shame the view was lovely and the food that we manged to get was very good.

I cant really review the restaurant because we never actually got that far. I stopped in on a Saturday and spoke briefly with the catering manager about the possibility of a party of roughly 35 for a graduation. He said the book was in the other office and he didnt know if the date was available, but I should check out the menus on line and call him at a later date regarding the availability and the details....well after 3 un-returned voicemails left on his cell phone and 1 message left on his voicemail at the restaurant, I still have yet to hear from him. Ive booked my party at Trumpets in Eastport. I wouldnt recommend Dockers. If they are unable to return a phone call just to let someone know if the date is available or not, Im wondering what kind of service you would receive once they actually have your money.

Where to begin, lets start off with $18 for 2 Corona almost laughable. But then you order a glass of wine which is half a pour for $14 and Im not talking about opus... Im talking about rebranded barefoot! Now overlooking the cost because its the fake Hamptons AKA East quogue. Then we get to the service and that vile individual named Kelsey. As a business owner of a publicly traded and privately held company. I have to say this is the worst of the worst. People like these do not belong in the service industry. The worst part is how we met, she was the manager who is supposed to resolve the issue. The wait staff that was absolutely incompetent and subpar, and the food was palatable.

One of the prettiest spots in the Hamptons. There are several cozy and beautiful spots to sit, just have a cocktail and watch the sun go down. Choose a marina bistro table, a couch oj the dock, a living room set under the tent, a deck chair, or 2 bars with plenty of stools- either inside or under cover. For a cocktails with friends fan, its a perfect set-up. But. .. ouch $$$13 for a tiny glass of nothing-special chard. No Long Island whites - which seems an obvious. If they had a sunset happy hour, would be packed. Mojitos, calamari, sushi. Bring the fat wallet. Hey guys -how about a Monday 5-7pm light bites and cool cheaper drinks menu?!

Menu boasts free range 1/2 chicken. For an exorbitant $31 you got a hens drum sticks and partial thigh. Where was the breast? Tasted boiled. Pyuck! Chilean Sea Bass was oily. Though our waiter was attentive when asked for(specified) FRESH coffee what was served was bitter and old. I actually felt so ill I refluxed. Not impressed at all. Felt attitude was "youre in The Hamptons. Deal with it. View breath taking and atmosphere extremely relaxing. We wont be back. The 2nd time(gave chance) disappointed. Invest in an Cappuccino machine already.

Wow this place is expensive!!! Have you ever seen a shrimp cocktail that is worth $55? Me neither. But that´s what they charge. I was told it is a great place to watch the sunset, but there are more reasonable places on Dune Road that don´t gouge the tourists. The hosts were excellent, but the barmaids (politically incorrect) were awful. Do yourself a favor--come for a drink and eat elsewhere. Be prepared to get insulted by the manager Larry if you have anything to say about this place that is not positive.

Great food and outstanding service with beautiful water views. An absolute winner with a an excellent menu with fresh ingredients, always prepared right and served at a leisurely pace that lets you enjoy your meal This restaurant is consistently excellent. Ive been here a few times over the past few years and Im always impressed. Definitely one of the better places around. Good food, good service, great views and the prices are fair for the area. Not to be missed!

Ive been here for 2 hours and ive seen a guest blatenly steal, a female bartender kiss a random female guest, that same female bartender allow another guest behind the bar, and watched the male bartender sexually harass the other female bartenders... Maybe this is why theyve had less and less customers...their busisness plan is obviously in the hands of an infant. Good luck.
