Food is good 70% of the times . Service, is another story! 2-3 waitresses there are amazing . It is ur good luck if u get them. The experience can be totally frustrating at other times. We were pretty much regulars until last night. my 4 yr old kid loves the. Adult enTre there but wont touch the kidsmeal. So this time we decided to let him have a portion from ours. Anyways, we also had our infant who eats baby food with us. Any who when the bill arrived they had charged us for the salad for the infant who ate baby food and our 4 yr old who we wish did but in reality cant be forced to go 2 inches close to salad/ veggies. We thought it must be a typo and the waitress said shed refund the amount. She goes to do it, then comes and starts a hulabaloo and calls the manager who also insists that everyone at the table is charged separately for the salad if there is a refill. And we are talking the unlimited salad from the menu. Olive garden needs to improve their kids menu and send their staff for training on efficient customer service and courteous behaviour they seem to be forgetting that a food business can be successful only if the experience is made pleasant . Good Food is just 25% of the experience. Rest is how welcome and pleasant u make the dining experience, goodbye OG u lost our business.

Had one of the worst experiences today..the lady at front desk was very indifferent..with a plain face she asked us to go to left and wait. .with no sign there, we were not sure where to wait so walked a little further hoping someone would get us seated..another lady appears with a frown on face asking where are you going ? Who asked you to come here? Humiliating and insulting would not suffice to explain what we felt.. when my husband pointed it to her that she was being rude, she acted as if nothing was wrong and there was no apology.. to top that, the server kept on forgetting what we asked for, got soiled plates, missed to split entree, couldnt pack the to go box properly. . Ruined a perfect evening for us.. we have been to olive garden in other states and was always a pleasant experience but this was first time in Connecticut, and am pretty sure this was the last time we are visiting the Manchester olive garden..

I usually only do good reviews however this place in my opinion is overall horrible. Try to call to place a take out , no one ever answered Phone rang and rang and Im stubborn so I waited as it rang, called back let a ring for like 5mins. ( can you guys at least answer and say sorry for the wait we will be right with you ) so unprofessional. Not to mention a couple orders that werent accurate in the past. Dinning in? Dont bother ... Last time I went to sit there and eat the table in the corner that they sat me at had 3 legs. Napkin was rolling off the table and the baffle look the waitress gave me when I ask to change tables had me dumb founded . Regardless I tip , always . Lastly ... You got rid of the Cesar salad ?!?!? *End Rant*

I have always been a fan of this chain, and my girlfriend and I were happy to see an Olive Garden so close by when we moved to Manchester. However, our experience at this location has been mixed; the food has been consistently good but the service has been just as consistently bad. Last time we went the waitress never refilled our drinks- I wouldnt even mind if I had had to ask, but she never was there to ask (and the place was empty on top of it all, we were seated immediately). The last two times we have had to wait an inordinate amount of time for our checks, to the point where we were sure we had been forgotten about. Whether the food is worth putting up with the service is not a question customers should have to ask themselves.

Their voice mail says they accept reservations and their front door also says to call ahead and reserve to skip the wait. They dont accept reservations, i tried. When i asked about their voicemail and the door they said "we might do that during the week, we dont really know. Edit: I am still there. They showed us to the table and forgot about us. People around us have waiters. I just asked if we could have a waiter and they ask the waiters name.. we were like "we never had a waiter". Its been quite a while with the wait to get a table and the even longer wait to get a waiter.. ill check back in a bit

Ordered my favorite Olive Garden dish, the classic Tour of Italy. However, at this visit, the dish was not even HALF the size that I expected from the Tour of Italy. That would be fine, if the price was not the same as always. To add insult to injury, the taste of the food was extremely lack-luster compared to my usual experience. I am very disappointed in my entree, and will not get the Tour of Italy in the future if this is Olive Gardens new standard. The only real upside to the experience was that the service was fairly decent.

I went there yesterday evening with my family and my grandmother for my brother Ryans 23rd birthday. The server was nice! And their food was delicious (not overcooked and not too grossy). I ordered Cavatappi with meat sauce and some chicken meatballs. My birthday brother had a pumpkin cheesecake as a "free dessert". Also, the restaurant had a very great atmosphere and their style was good. We have gone there for some special occasions. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone, especially my friends.

The service was good. The food was good too. But as a retired person living on a fixed income, I was disappointed to find the prices so much higher on Sundays for lunch..higher than the weekday lunches. We will not be returning on the weekends in the future, unless you offer reduced prices for senior citizens. Prices go up but our social security . .which we earned and paid for all of our working years does not increase, so every dollar counts.

Extremely skimpy with the sauce my chicken alfredo is very dry and they had the nerve to sprinkle bread crumbs on top. I also added sausage to my chicken alfredo they give you the entire sausage link instead of cutting it up. Also overpriced for the quality. I knew i was taking a risk with olive garden but i didnt think it would be that bad. The chain is blatant disrespect to italian cusine and culture. Never again.

This place was very good. Even though the spaghetti and meatballs were very tasty at the time I found out that they give bread sticks. The bread sticks were very nice and good. It even goes great with salt. Also the chicken soup was very good. Also they give out chocolate mints when our meal was done. It was great.
