This restaurant, the old Timothys, has some great dishes. The owners are lovely people. There are about 8 small tables in the front and an "overflow area" for twenty more people in the back room that is great for small gathering of friends or family. I like the calamari as an appetizer but usually skip it since there will be lots of squid in the Seafood Paella. The garlic bread is real good ( and hard to resist) Small salads accompany the diners. Salmon and Swordfish are delicious, not overcooked either, but my wife usually gets the Oso Buco or the Rock Shrimp. The desserts are great too but I usually do not have any room left. My wife brings a lot of people to this place to keep it going, but the take out pizza on the right side probably helps them too. We havent need reservations but cant hurt Thursday - Sunday. BYOB Enjoy, we do!

I never expected to find a restaurant as good as this in Hartford when we moved up here from New York - honestly this place is better than any of my favorite places in the city. The food is spectacular - they just know how to cook. Everyone is incredibly friendly, the prices are very reasonable, and you can bring your own beer and wine. Its family owned and run, two sisters and one husband, he does the prep, they do the cooking (and serving). Its also incredibly child friendly, especially since if you have picky eaters you can order them a pizza while you eat fancy. Of course the specialty pizzas are amazing, so you might just want to get one for yourself...

I ate dinner here and was not impressed. I had pasta with vodka sauce with chicken. It was very tasty but I found hair cooked into it. They didnt charge me for it but it grossed me out. My daughter had filet mignon with broccoli rabbe with fries. I didnt like the fries and broccoli was very bitter n just inedible. The steak was fabulous. I wouldnt go back. The employees were very polite and accommodating. I just dont want to eat their food anymore.

I go to this restaurant as often as I can for dinner. The owner is lovely and the food is delicious. I would love to try more things on her menu but I cant seem to pullt away from my favotrte 4 :rock shirmp; eggplanrt parm; scallops;; filet mignon. Getting hungry just thinking about it! Anyway, awesome place - enough on the menu to please everyone. Try it -you will find you will end up going back. :)

I have now been to Trinity Restaurant 3 times and have remain impressed. The Gorgonzola Chicken Pasta is amazing, good salads, The Shrimp Pasta dish is really good as well. It is very reasonable for what you get and the family that owns it is incredibly nice. If this was in any other location it would be swamped. It is certainly worth the trip. And its BYO.

Visited for lunch on a Monday. Its in a converted house in a quiet neighborhood. No other customers in the restaurant, so I sat outside on the lovely patio. Ordered the butternut squash ravioli and gnocchi, which were both homemade and perfectly done. Great service from the (I assume) owner, with delicious pasta at reasonable prices. Nice local spot!

Cant tell you how many times Ive hosted business clients, staff, and family for meals at Trinity Restaurant. Have always been very pleased with the excellent, tasty food and the friendly, efficient service. Portions are ample and prices are reasonable. Were heading there again tonight. A family business well worth supporting.

The service was friendly and the decor/layout of Trinity is quite nice. The food was terrible though. Adding the distinct flavor of Balsamic vinegar to something delicate like a brown butter sauce is nonsensical. Followed by gnocchi with no flavor red sauce. Sorry guys, you need to rework the kitchen end of things.

“YUM!!” Im a vegetarian so it might seem weird that I like a BBQ place. Their cornbread, mashed sweet potatoes and ice cream are enough to keep me happy (and are quite yummy! love the honey butter!) while my friends enjoy the BBQ. I am so excited that they have UCONN Dairy Bar ice cream!! Now I dont have to go...

Had a lamb sandwich, and it was pretty good Anns hearty.... also the meat was so much I used a fork to scoop out some to eat before finishing the sandwich. Best sandwich Ive ever had as it was my first. Service was great. The server was always tend to us. Glad I ate there and I would do it again.

This is my all time favorite restaurant. I have taken my staff for holiday dinner, out of town guests and european friends. Each and every time the food has been delicious, staff has been polite and efficient. The owners are always there and work hard to please their customers.

Yuck! What an awful dinner. Mussels were tough and chewy. And the creme Brule was tapioca pudding that didnt even have the top browned let alone crisp.
