Ordered some very basic items from the menu such as shrimp chow mein and beef Lo mein. After pick up we took it home which is only down the street. Immediately upon opening the bag and containers an overwhelming odor that I cant even describe began coming off the food, primarily the beef Lo mein. The best way I can describe it would be if you drained the juice from your trash and heated it up. I wish I were exaggerating but it was so blatant that I decided to drive back over to see what the deal was. I asked for the manager, calmly, when he arrived I told him the food smelled absolutely terrible and I wanted my money back so we could call it even. He proceeded to start giving me a hard time telling me some of the bags were open already. I couldnt believe he was even debating with me at this point. He laughed and said thats how Lo mein is cooked. I told him it wasnt open for discussion and to just give me my money back. He still proceeded, asking me how its even if they cooked the food but it doesnt get paid for, I was absolutely blown away. I told him one more time I wasnt going to pay for garbage and he finally refunded me. On the way home the owner called to apologize for how unprofessional his manager was and for the horrible-smelling food which he acknowledged himself. Im embarrassed for these guys, cant even cook the most basic Chinese food and then make it your problem.

Best Chinese Ive had in a while! Besides the food being tasty, the staff was so kind. My husband sneezed while we were placing our order to-go and the cashier handed him a napkin (just a simple gesture, but no one had ever done that, heck, I dont even hand him a tissue when he sneezes). We also had our 15- month-old daughter with us and the cashier gave her a paper flower to play with/keep, oh, and they gave her a fortune cookie too while we waited for our order. On top of all that, they told us 10 minutes for our order and it came out in probably about 5, we were like "wow, that was fast". Do I even have to go on? The food was amazing, you should just stop by if youre in the area!

Pu pu platter was really good big on a nice platter with fire in the middle incase u want to cook ur food a little more ribs get nice and crispy on there it was really good the boneless spare ribs are good too we had a great time the fried noodles they give u while u wait were really good too they are a little more expensive then most places the only thing I dont like is the egg rolls have shrimp and pork in them together so for people with alergies or that dont like sea food cant eat egg rolls and I like a classic pork fried rice this one has egg and veggies in it more like a home made one

Since Wang opened this has been the only place we get Chinese food from. Great environment, great service, and most importantly.. amazing food! We love this place! Their Crab Rangoons are my favorite! Once in awhile they will come out with free ice cream/sherbert for your table. The crispy noodles with duck sauce on the tables to start is also addicting! And on every table is hot tea. LIke the options of sitting down or take-out. Beats Moon Star (just down the road) any day!

I ate at Wang some time ago, and yesterday I decided to get some take out. At first taste it seemed bland. Then a lot of subtle, delicious flavors hit my taste buds. It was great! I asked for brown rice, and they gave me a side of very small-grained brown rice, which they also used in the fried rice. It has a very nice taste. If you are near Cromwell or Middletown, in the area between I-91 and CT Route 9, you should stop in at Wang, or pick up some food to take out

My favorite Chinese restaurant in Connecticut. Brings back memories of growing up in Queens. Dine in restaurant with linen tablecloths, delicious entrees and excellent service. Used to eat here weekly. Have had almost everything on the menu, all good, tend to always default to savory Ta Chien Chicken, because I cant get it anywhere else. I wish I lived closer.

I ordered for the first time there beef and broccoli it was horrible the meat was so tough and chewy I threw it away fried rice was ok I thought for over price Chinese food it would be good never will I go there again I recommend P F Chang also the fried noodle they give you for your meal was stale

Very good food with nice flavor and quality! Service has been quick and pleasent.We are heading to Boston from NY, had a lunch break here and itˊs absolutely a surprise. The overall chinese flavor is a bit customized, but still very tasty.

Just moved into town and already I consider Wangs a go-to place. Very clean restaurant with great food (some of the best Chinese Ive had) and great service. I was shocked on how cheap my bill was after dining for 2! Highly recommend!
