Horrible experience.. I am writing this review as i am coming out.. We ordered chicken 65 and gobi Manchurian as appetizers.. Chicken 65 on the outside had lots of quantity but very little chicken.. The gobi Manchurian was not cooked at all and we returned them, the restaurant shamelessly charged us for that too.. The main course we ordered was veg chettinad but it was full of masala and oil.. The chicken biriyani was mediocre and was full of masala.. Earlier the food was good but last few, especially todays experience was horrible.. Our last visit today.. I am going to spread this message with my Indian friends - want to save others from this experience.. Others who want to try, do it at your own peril..

Best food ever! I visited Asian Flavour after searching on-line for Indian food near me (having tried almost all local places). Had a number of visitors and ordered a variety of food: goat dum ka gosht with a minimum of bones, lamb moti masala, creamy and flavorful, lamb vindaloo with good but not overwhelming heat, chicken biryani captures the more sour taste intended in this dish than others who make it too sweet. Surprising was the tandoori mixed grill which was moist and very delicious and not dried out like other local places ( I wasnt going to order this because of how dry it is at other stores). Owner was very nice, helpful and friendly. Will definitely be visiting or ordering delivery again!!!

Ive been here before over a year ago place was bad and poor management. Now I understand this its a new business and new ownership so me and my boss decided to give the new place a chance. Aww baby the hit the spot with that Hakka Chicken. Must try! Will def come back to the buffet on Saturday. Manager was very friendly and welcoming gave us to taste new things and dessert was on the house. Chef have the golden touch! Thank you guys!

Dont listen to older reviews on here as there is a new owner, a gentleman from Nepal who was very kind - great service and delicious food. We took his recommendations for our apps and meals instead of going for our usual and this was a great choice.. we all loved our food. One of the apps had a Nepali sauce that was amazing. This is my new favorite restaurant. Great naan, great korma, just freaking delicious.

I was visiting my family in Hamden Connecticut so for lunch we planned to go for some Indian food and then we went to Asian Flavour Indian Restaurant . Food here is so good and the taste you can feel as you are in home . The atmosphere of the restaurant and the service was so good . Next time when I will visit my family we definitely going to Asian Flavour . Thank you for such a warm service and food

I forgot to write review for this place months ago. I was in CT May-June 2015 for business travel and Tangra just opened up in Hamden location. Manager Krunal is very friendly and provides excellent service. I have had opportunity to eat here 3 times and food and service it Top notch everytime. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for tasty classic or fusion indian food.

I have been to this place a few times. It used to be a tangra bryani, which was HORRIBLE place but with this NEW management, they have not only changed the colors & interiors but also, is a significant change in customer service. I am a critic but at the asian flavor the food is excellent. I have tried appetizers & the entrees, they are above excellence.

the tangra biryani point is moved from 1869 dixwell avenue . now there is very nice indo-chinese restaurant. name of restaurant is asian flavour restaurant .very good food and nice atmusfear .who ever had bad experience with tangra biryani point .you must try with new management .

Bad food. I went to the restaurant and the service was good. But the food was really bad. We ordered hot n sour soup, hakka noodles, and manchurian. I am only writing this review because I and my wife had really bad stomach ache after eating this.

What a nice place! The staff was very friendly, and the food was unique and done very well. While I cant speak for the foods authenticity (my knowledge of Indian food is limited) my dining experience greatly exceeded expectations.
