*Update* 1/9/17 - you really need to disregard this Shashank fella who reviewed Jaffron below me. What he described sounds so far fetched and unbelievable that he must be either reviewing the wrong new hope Indian restaurant or he is in fact writing a fake review to damage his far superior competition. Ive known the owner and staff of Jaffron for over 2 years and they are the most respective and courteous hosts you could ask for. This establishment will treat you with nothing but kindness so Im calling blasphemy on Shashank! Shame on you shanky! Jaffron is simply the best. Go. Now. Chicken Tikka, Butter, Korma, Curry, even Vindaloo are all incredible. The Korma is my favorite its really out of this world. The meals here are so hearty and flavorful and filling wow, truly a perfect restaurant to go on cooler weather days but dont you dare think you shouldnt stroll in anytime of the year. The quality really is phenomenal as is the owner and staff. This is my favorite restaurant and only establishment that really has that homey warm atmosphere - as weird as it is it sort of reminds me of my Italian grandmothers cozy split level up in Queens, NY where the cloudy and heavy fragrant air from her cooking would fill the house. The prices are really pretty low for what you get here. Just go, treat yourself. Go and be happy you nut!!

Disaster!! This is the worst Indian restaurant I have been so far in the USA. We were on a sudden trip to New Hope and were roaming on the beautifully maintained streets and suddenly saw this Indian Restaurant. As I usually do, I just opened my browser to look for reviews of this restaurant and was satisfied enough to enter the restaurant. We were greeted by a waitress(American), she was courteous. We ordered appetizers and were looking onto the menu to order some entree, it took us some time to decide on the entree. Suddenly an India man came out shouting from the kitchen, probably the chef. He shouted at us that we dont serve only appetizers and if you are not ordering entree, you should leave. He was shouting so loud that all the customers were looking at our faces, we were so shocked at such a ridiculous behavior and left the restaurant in shame. Being an Indian, I can say that, these guys are a shame on India and are spoiling the name of my country. I have taken time to write this review, so that if possible I can save some innocent people who go to visit the town for some refreshment and may get trapped in this restaurant to spoil their day. Avoid this place if possible, there are a numerous good restaurants in New Hope, we had an awesome dinner at Hawana that evening.

My girlfriend and I are seasoned Indian restaurant goers, so whenever we find one in our travels we like to stop and try it out. Our go-to dish is Vindaloo, because we find it to be the perfect balance of flavor and heat (we like things on the spicier side) and it serves as a good barometer of what an Indian restaurant is capable of. The ambiance is average, not an upscale place, but we dont mind that. The staff was attentive and the service was average. The food was good, not the best Ive had, but it satisfied my Vindaloo craving at the time. All around, Jaffron is a good restaurant. Nothing mind blowing, but certainly not bad.

Stopped by for lunch, and the place was empty. Never a good sign, but we gave it a go, and we were very glad we did. Three of us, had two chicken biryanis and one chicken tikka masala, and we were _very_ happy. Both dishes were different from what Im used to, Im guessing its regional differences in the preparation, but I was still really happy with both. Portions were huge, I can eat like a champ and I still brought home leftovers. Service was prompt and friendly, but the real star was the food. Will gladly come back for more.

We absolutely loved this place! We were walking by and decided to give it a try and were so glad we did! My fiance got the Mixed Grill dish - a meat lovers dream with quite the variety of flavors .. and I got the Chicken Korma - chicken in a great great flavored coconut almond cashew sauce thats great for someone who doesnt like spicy Indian food. It was all delish and the service was very friendly, helpful and fast. We will definitely be back :)

Three of us stopped by for lunch and had the buffet. The server was very nice and attentive but I have to admit the buffet is underwhelming. I guess weve been spoiled with Indian buffets in Philadelphia that have a wide selection that includes unlimited nann bread, samosas, and 8-10 options. This was just a few options plus rice. It tasted fine, but really it was nothing more than just that: fine.

The BEST Indian cuisine around. Its not the most comfortable or attractive interiors but the food is very good. Authentic and just incredibly flavorful. I often get take out. The used to do delivery, but I moved outside their delivery zone. Now I pre order and take out. The food is so good, I actually order extra when I visit my sister in Conneticut who loves their Sag Paneer.

Walked in for dinner. Really excellent food, a cut above all of the Indian restaurants in the area Ive visited, and on par with some Ive been to in the UK. Will definitely come again. Attentive staff, but the restaurant is rather small, decor unimpressive and not terribly busy. Its setup more like a take out shop rather than fine dining, but the food is excellent.

Simply amazing. I am a big Indian cuisine fan and this place was the best I have eaten at, by far. Portions are a tad on the small size however quality and taste more than make up for it. This place is a MUST try if you like Indian food or are feeling adventurous. I had the lamb curry and it was out of bounds!!! So good.

Both the Chicken Korma and Butter Chicken were exceptional! Very tasty! I have frequented many Indian restaurants and the food here was some of the best Ive had. Service was very friendly. We took our kids in with us and they were very accommodating and helpful. They were very quick bringing the food out too.

Decor in Jaffron is pretty modest. The service was great. The food was pretty good. Mulligatawny soup was good, but not too flavorful. Bread naan was warm and yummy. Mango lasses was really good! Chicken tikka masala and chicken korma were pretty good, had somewhat sweet flavor. Overall a good experience!

Consistently great Indian food. I have been visiting this restaurant for years. The food, the service, and the cleanliness are awesome. I usually get Tikka Masala, Alloo Paratha, and try a few new things. This place is small so its good to have a reservation or just be lucky. Really really yummy!

This restaurant is amazing. Although, I only had the chicken tikki massala, I would highly recommend this place as the smells and other dishes looked great. The waiter and owner were very accommodating and ensured that our experience was top notch. We hope to be back soon.

Phenomenal! We had Meat samosa, mango chutney shrimp and diced potato appetizers for lunch. But the spot. So flavorful, bold, robust without heat. If you are not an Indian food can you will be blown away.
