Went to the recently-renovated Cheshire Pizza for the first time last night and was very impressed. The configuration separates a cozy dining space with 4-5 booths and tables that could accommodate 14-16 people from a bar area. The bar can probably seat 8-10 with a few high-top tables. Though not spacious, the space is well-utilized. There are perhaps a dozen TVs spanning from behind the bar and wrapping around the rest of the dining area, so that everybody has a view of at least a handful of screens no matter where they sit. Their pizzas seemed to be a popular choice and looked and smelled good. They continue their practice of cutting round pizzas into a grid, meaning that pieces are square and those in the middle have no perimeter crust. I shared a large plate of Thai chili wings with the guys, and they were fabulous! Very crispy, with a sweet, sticky sauce that had the mildest of pepper kicks to it. They had a respectable variety of craft beers on tap and in bottles, along with a reasonable wine and signature cocktail list. In sum, the "new" Cheshire Pizza is more of a destination for those wanting to watch a game in an upscale place with food that seems elevated beyond simple pub grub. While not gourmet, its definitely a step up from routine fare.

This is the restaurant to eat at!! The atmosphere is enjoyable. The owner Jimmy and his family make it thier number one priority to greet every customer like they are family. Everybody has a huge smile on thier face. Also the food is absolutely amazing there. My favorite app are the wings! The selection of sauces are great! They have a huge selection of food. From a twist on classic Greek dishes like pork belly gyros, and traditional Greek pizza. To burgers, and sandwiches. The bar is stocked with popular spirits, and top shelf whiskey, scotch, and vodka. There is a great selection of micro brews, and domestic beers. They are also the new premiere bar in cheshire. Its the top spot for the greater new haven area for night life!! You definitely have to come to Cheshire Pizza & Ale!!

Only 2 entrees Fish & chips and Souvlaki. No pasta dishes just sandwiches with poor selection and for some reason the restaurant is obsessed with pork belly. You can get it in a sandwich the souvlaki or for some unknown reason a poutine with cheese curds ( is this Wisconsin Italian?) so if you want ordinary pizza you will be happy but if you came for dinner forget it.

This place is absolutely fantastic. Since the renovation, literally everything has changed for the best. Theres a much more extensive beer menu including several local beers. The food and desserts were terrific. Its great to see Cheshire is finally getting some good restaurants in town.

Amazing place. Great for date night, family lunch/dinner. Fantastic beer list, huge pours for wine. Got a very lovely couple of salads, pizza and a delicious zucchini fritter appetizer with Greek yogurt dip. Everyone was friendly, helpful. We will definitely be back, many times.

Came for lunch with colleagues. Great beer selection and amazing new renovation. However, the kitchen couldnt handle the volume of a lunch rush. Over two thirds of our groups order was not timed correctly and/or missing in some part. I do plan on returning for another chance.

Been in Cheshire for about a year and a half. Definitely good pies in town, but I was missing Greek style pizza that I grew up on. I found it at Cheshire Pizza & Ale. Great pizza and great beers on tap for you beer folk like myself. A+ on service as well.

It was so loud in there with a full house no one could talk. Need t o hang some material to absorb the racket. The beer was nice and cold. The pizza is what you might expect for Greek pizza. Decent if you like that.

Best pizza in Cheshire, bar none. Thicker crust than the New Haven style, so one pizza goes a lot farther than a same-sized pizza elsewhere. Generous with toppings, family owned. Must try!
