Well just moved here to Bristol..A few houses down from pizza place, i decided tonight on my walk I would get a pizza ..I was going to order and walk around block then pick it up...well that was not to be..I walk the waitress sees me walking up to registar while she is talking to off duty one and slips into back room...I had tied my small therapy dog up outside out of repect and that we were oit to do business...I look for a menue any menue dont see one..I am about to yell to back kitchen when she appears...I ask for take out menue so i can see and also take home for later...also planned on ordering from phone at this point since my dog had been out so long next to road and driveway...they have none...i ask for menue she shows me one up on wall...its 4 pages long large writing ..but being a Chef i wanted to analyze it...so i tell her i am bringing my dog in at this point..and its a therapy dog she didnt say a word...i come in and decide i just wsmt somthing quick to get out and not comd back...so i order soup...i gave her a 1$ tip for a 3.95 $ bowl of soup to go...i didnt have to leave anything. But i did before i recieved it...I walk outside to wait tgen into entrance breezeway...i waited 25 min...a pizza takes sm 15 min to cook...that should have been hot already..or put on a flame to heat and still would have onlty tsken 10 min.from being ice cold...i then had to ask for a piece of bread..the bread was warm but had no flavor....i even checked to see if butter was unsalted..i wanted to sprinkle salt on it ..i dont even use salt ....the soup was very hot must have been microwaved...all i could taste was parm. Cheese..usually you grate sum on on when served...but it was all you could taste...i would still like to try the pizza...and a dinner...especially the fried mozz...the waitress when i asked specifically. Said it was made there ...i am going to order one tomorrow to see...also to try there sauce.....over all first impression..no service...i saw not only me but for all..it looked lik one girl taking all the tables...and the other 2 not doing ANYTHING..and the one that was did not have a clue..but i will give it another try being in business i know we all somtimes have a bad night

Ok seriously I dont usually make reviews but after tonight I HAD TOO! This is not our pizza spot ... Max pizza is on Stafford Ave but after leaving the boys and girls club it was right next door so we figured why not.. we been in the past and had no issues.. never the less Im not even going to bring up the pizza issues we had but I am going to bring up how UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE the two owners were.. if my kids werent with me and I didnt think twice about my actions it was going to get pretty loud and wild in that pizza joint.... I asked to speak to the owners due to my complaint the waitress said that he said "he was to busy and couldnt get over to me but for me to write my # down he would call" yeah lol picture that one.. so I got up went up to the front he wouldnt come out.. the wife was looking he looked he ignored me .. I said again whats his name I want their names they stated "they are not required to give out their names that they dont have too" lol honest to god I go to restaurants all the time with my family NEVER in all the days of my life have I been disrespected and treated w such unprofessionalism in all my years of life! I have read the reviews and seems like many people including their own employees have issues w this place.. the right thing as a boss was for this man to come over, apologize and meet our needs.. I will tell everyone in the world now about this scum .. Im so sorry Maxs we will never be traders again.. its worth going out of my way to you.. this place doesnt deserve 1 star nor do they deserve $1.00 from you.. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE!!! There are so many other pizza places nearby go to Maxs pizza or Corner pizza they will suit your needs and make sure you leave happy!!!!

Terrible service. Dont get me wrong the food is good but not worth it to me. I arrive at the started time to pick up my pizzas when there card reader is having issues. It was not reading cards with security chips. No big deal. They start trying to fix it. A customer suggests entering the card number like a phone order and they say its one button and they cant. First problem because they have the same machine I have at work just because they dont know how to use it they start making people leave to go to an atm and come back to get their food. I only brought a credit card, license and phone so I had to drive all the way home them get cash to go back. Once back it is now at least half am hour past my food being done so I ask if they are going to do anything for my inconvenience and more my certainly child food which is on oddly not my fault. The poor cashier meekly apologized before 3 managers come and start in telling me off that its not their fault about the credit machine (which is true and wasnt my real issue) and continued ranting about how "Im causing a problem and I am free to go to any place else I want and they couldnt care." For a restaurant in a town that there are 3 other pizza places you can see from their parking lot you would think theyd at least attempt to be nice. A simple apology would have sufficed instead of being told off and talked over until I walked out before saying something I would regret. Completely rude. Terrible customer service skills. Go anywhere else.

Pizza is always great always order from them, but the chicken wings are horrible. Dont order them! On one occasion I did a carryout order and I asked for buffalo wings and they just gave me chicken wings w/a little hot sauce on the side. On top of it they were so burnt/fried to a crisp that the chicken meat was so dry. Called to let them know and asked for a credit for next time, but the owners wife didnt believe me and wanted me to drive them back to the restaurant so she could see them. Told her that is ridiculous and we order from you all the time, why cant you take my word for it, why would I be calling to lie to you? Said she could offer me a discount on my next order but not full credit or money back unless I bring them back. So I told her I dont have time now to bring them and Im not going to waste more gas just to bring them back, told Ill bring them tomorrow and she said no because they wont be the same and get more dry. I said they are so burnt and fried that its like they are mummified so they cant change. Still argued with me and told me Ill have to bring them back now. I asked her when is the owner/manager working she said tomorrow. Calling the owner/manager tomorrow and see what he says. Worst customer service ever! Does she really think that repeat customers would call to cheat them out of money?
