Been going here about 3 years now. Food is good. Service used to be good but within past few months orders keep being wrong. Mostly take out. Example, tonight ordered 1ground beef empenada($1.25) 1 cheese empanada($2.00) Acapulco chimichanga($11.00) When I got their the total was $22.34. Paid and left not thinking. Got home and no salsa or any sauces, had 4 ground beef empanadas and charged $8 for them (you do the math) plus the one cheese for $2 which was correct. This is about the 4th time in 3 months. Food is good but not worth it to me.

We had a wedding dinner planned mind you 1 month in advance, we showed up only to find they had given our little private room to a party that just showed up and wanted to eat. They did not apologize or try to fix the wrong they caused. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to plan a party or a function there. They were not even sorry for there mistake. Poor planning and very poor business management.

The reason of my comment is to reply (biglu) We are a family business, we eat here, my family eats here, we care about our customers and health. You are just mad because you Werent called to work for the Latin nights. As we found out that you were doing illegal businesses here. Anyways. thanks for trying to make us look bad, but when health dep comes here doesnt have a complain for us.

David took me 2 Monterey restaurant on mothers day N it was my first time there N it was the best Mexican food that I have tried so far. I will tell everybody to make sure they go and eat there...thanks again to all the staff for my experience

Finally tried this awesome local (hole on the wall) Mexican restaurant...and so happy we did! Puts the chain restaurants to shame! Everything was fresh, great flavor and service with a smile! Well definitely be back!

Excellent authentic Mexican cuisine. Great service from the employees who pay close attention to detail. Phenomenal margaritas and mixed drinks. Comfortable bar setting that opens into fine dine.

Tucked away in an industrial sectonn of town, Monterrey offers inexpensive but quite tasty and freshly-made Mexican food. Great for families and get-togethers with friends.
