This hidden little gem is lovely. Tiny little restaurant, hidden away in a strip mall thats set back off of Amity Rd, across from Crest Lincoln (turn at the light). Inside is decorated nicely, not just with cheap tchotchkes, but with what seems like a lot of love: Bamboo and wood trims, lots of lovely little photos and decorations that feel more like personal memories from a Thai family. The food is among the best Thai food Ive found--all fresh ingredients, and deliciously prepared. Ive yet to try anything there that wasnt top-notch. Highly recommended--you wont be disappointed.

Fresh ingredients, wow! Many Thai eateries use frozen or low-quality vegetables and meats, but Thai Stories must use fresh, quality ingredients as I have never tasted such crisp, tender greens in Thai before! Given the quality of the food, the prices are reasonable. The restaurant appears to be operated by a Thai family, and they are wonderful hosts. Thai Stories is now my favorite Thai restaurant in New Haven county, and a must-try for Thai lovers in the area!

This place caters to white people. Bland would be an understatement. (We ordered the drunken noodle, seafood madness, and roasted duck curry.) If thats what you like, go ahead and eat here. But I usually love Thai food; Ive never left a dish unfinished before; I couldnt finish my drunken noodle. In fact, I dont think Ill eat any more drunken noodle this year. :( 2 stars for otherwise welcoming restaurant though.

My husband and I go here almost every week, its close to us and also happens to be one of our favorite Thai places. Weve had a lot of Thai food from all over and this little restaurant definitely stands up with them. All of their food is always so fresh and consistent. The service is reliable, super friendly and well organized.

Havent met the chef but dayummn this place is definitely special. Favorite dish is the Spicy Bamboo/Chicken with the Coconut/Mushroom soup. They they could charge $5-$10 more on dishes- great quality meat, etc. The rest is magic, though, still dont know how they get it so good.

It looks like a family owened and operated restaurant. The food is cheap and very good. I have been to many Thai restaurant but this one stole my heart. I had Drunken noodle and pork dumplings and they were delicious. I even ordered Drunken noodle to-go.

This is hands down the best Thai food I have ever eaten. Food is consistently delicious and the staff are all very kind friendly people. My wife and I absolutely love this place and come here regularly.

The food deserves five stars. It was very well cooked and the flavors were outstanding. The restaurant gets an overall four stars because the staff kept standing over our table and rushing us.

I keep going here every week because the food is just so darn good! The only thing is that I wish they gave more oranges, and played more Thai authentic music. But amazing place!

Great Thai food, cool atmosphere, friendly wait staff... All around awesome.... Try the Crying Tiger or the Drunken Noodle (crispy or regular)... You wont be disappointed

The box lunch is a great value. Food tends to be on the extra spicy side so keep that in mind when telling them how youd like it.

Great service. Not great food. Too much sugar in the sauces, and tom yum soup. The peanut sauce was basically peanut butter.
