Visited this Cosi yesterday in Avon, CT. Waited twenty minutes for my daughters meal to be brought out after the other two were served. Cashier realized we did not get the meal and went back to ask where it was. Cook/preparer finally brought it out to my daughter and said something about the heater not working well and apologized so she ate her slightly warm mac n cheese twenty minutes after we were already finished. The tables were in sad need of cleaning and the trash bin was overflowing. Not sure who in the restaurant is assigned to clean tables and seats but they were not doing it while we were there and obviously had not done anything for awhile since all tables were dirty.

First and foremost, the service here is heinous. They run out of items (even bread!) constantly. The staff is rude - expect to be snippily interrupted mid-order. There is a decent chance your order will be forgotten. The restaurant can get as dirty as any McDonalds. The food isnt terrible, but its on the expensive side for what youre given. I like that there are low-fat and vegetarian options.

Have been eating here for years - love the tomato basil soup with a good Cosi Club sandwich! Unfortunately it appears they are cutting back on soap & water because this place desperately needs a good scrubbing. Everything is noticeably dirty and tattered. As much as I enjoy the soup, Im afraid I wont be going back until they invest in a mop. Id even be willing to donate some Pine-Sol.

Just brought home my Tandoori chicken salad. Noticed that there was hardly any chicken. Took it out and weighed it, 2.1 oz. Personally feel something closer to 4 oz should be the standard for a protein source at a meal. Tomatoes were past their prime. The spice on the chicken and the greens were good. Just not enough chicken.

Solid little place for salads and sandwiches. Not as good as I remember, but theyve pretty much redone the whole image of the restaraunts since I used to frequent them. Good lunch spot, reasonably priced

Worth a try. Sandwiches are okay. Try the smores on a cold day. Its a unique experience. You warm them up at your table over an open flame. Fun for couples and families.
