Its a shame that I have to give this place such a low rating, as their location is so convenient to my family. However, every time I have order take out from this location is always end up waiting for some reason. My first time here they quoted my time at 15 minutes. I ended up waiting close to an hour to get my food. The second time I ordered they forgot a portion of my order and I ended up waiting 30 minutes. I am now sitting here waiting for my final time. They told me a 30 minute wait, so I arrived at 40 minutes after placing my order. Despite giving ample time I am waiting, and have been, for 20 minutes. They gave my order away to another customer who claimed it was theirs. While I understand my situation may be circumstantial and anecdotal I recommend you look elsewhere when considering your Chinese food options in the Valley. You will probably be left waiting while you have hungry people waiting at home. The only reason I am giving them an additional star is for attempting to reconcile with a small discount. Suffice to say I will not be returning to moon star, there are plenty of other options in the area that offer the same quality of crappy Chinese food.

Ordered food on Seamless at 4:46 PM, with an estimated delivery of 5:26 PM - 5:36 PM. At 6:00 PM, still no food - We call and are told the food will arrive within 5 minutes. Okay, no problem. Not optimal, but Im willing to give them an extra half hour. At 6:20 something, still no food. The person on the phone is obviously stalling, and telling us the food will be here in a minute. 6:30 PM, still no food. At this point, I wanted to cancel my order, and we told the person on the phone to go ahead and cancel it. He argues and says give him another minute, blah blah, the conversation becomes an argument, and the call ends in a hang-up at 6:35 PM. The driver shows up at 6:42 PM with the food. I told him to take it back, and that we cancelled it. Thats just shy of 2 hours for the food to arrive. It wasnt a major order (50 bucks), and the place is 3 miles away, with an estimated travel time of 10 minutes, per Waze. Having to wait a long time is one thing, but jerking us around and telling us the guy will be here in a minute, and hes still not there 40 minutes after is something else. As for the quality of the food, I cant speak on that, as we turned it away.

Id like to start with saying this was a terrible experience through and through. I initially placed an order through Grubhub around 5 PM and had a expected delivery of about 6:20 PM only to be contacted at 6:45 PM and be told that my drivers car had broken down and it would delay my delivery time about 20 minutes to half an hour. About 45 minutes later from that time point I then contacted the Resturant wanting to know how much longer it would be until my food arrived. To which they told me five minutes. And in about 40 minutes from that time frame I was then gifted with food that was cold greasy and generally unappetizing. Before my food arrived the owner of the restaurant contacted me and informed me that due to my inconvenience that they would like to extend me a credit or gift card in the form of some undisclosed amount to which I thought was very generous. (At the time) Only to discover that when contacting for Grubhub to follow up on this offer that I was made aware that they would honor a 10% discount on any future purchase when my food arrived cold, greasy and two hours outside of the expected delivery time. Avoid this restaurant its not worth it

Love their food, it is hard to find a good Chinese place that makes good food. But this is the second time Ive been waiting for my food for almost 2+ hours. Ill give them another chance, but not for a LONG time. Tried calling, and the phone is off the hook. If you cant do orders for delivery, why waste my time?! I usually dont leave bad reviews, but this is unnecessary. Very Unprofessional. Nedless to say i ordered from another local restaurant, and got my food in 15 minutes.if you want delivery from this place, just skip it. Its better to pick up.

My Family loves the food they serve here at noon star we have been a customer for about 5 years. there pork fried rice is very good, & boneless bbq spare ribs are great & and they make excellent general tsos chicken is great, and my favorite is the large sweet and sour shrimp, (jumbo shrimp deep fried also comes with large pint of white rice and tangy sweet-n-sour sauce and there egg rolls are good too!!! only thing is they dont deliver, but the food is worth the drive ENJOY

The best Chinese food in the valley. Fast, great prices, and extremely delicious. Never had a language barrier when ordering food or requesting special items. Our family has been eating here for over 5 years and we love it. As for the couple who double posted with the little different stories below me I find that so hard to believe. Every one I know has nothing but great things to say about MoonStar. Seems like a cry for free food to me...

This is the best Chinese food I have had in a long time. Sometimes the wait is a little long but its ALWAYS worth it. I will never complaine about a wait when the food is well worth it. Their sauce for their fried or steamed dumplings is OUT OF SITE. Fresh ginger, sesame oil and fresh scallions with a spocy kick. Id love to see these guys do some dim sum. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place to anyone in the area.

App says time food is supposed to be ready for my pick up. It is 26+ minute and people after me have come in. Never using your order service and wasting my time as you tell me one minute 20 times. Thanks but no thanks. CHINA SEA never had a problem with their orders being ready. Why the F did I change places!?! The food is good but dont waste my time.

These guys are great, terrific food, friendly service, and reasonable prices. These guys go as far as when I order for delivery at my work I am unable to leave the floor I am on for operational reasons so each time they bring my order all the way up to the 6th floor. 5 stars for sure, keep up the great work Moon Star!

Plastic in food ! messed up 2 orders where I asked for no mushrooms due to my allergy, they changed one order and there was plastic in strands in it . Not sure if they are doing this on purpose at this point . Stay away! Horrible

Took two hours to get my food! Called 7 times and every time we told them how long and that we want our food, they would hang up on us. Never ordering from there again. Horrible place. Horrible people.

Good food, but spent over $50 and not so much as a free egg roll or small white rice. Then had the nerve to charge me for white rice after forgetting to give me my chicken and broccoli.
