Ive been coming here for over 6 years. Let me state I only come here for breakfast, about 2 times a month. The quality of their food is fresh made terrificness. Their tortillas are amazing. The customer service is always on point. I have never had a single complaint. Ive met the owner a few times and he is a really great individual. Although Ive never tried anything more than their breakfasts Im sure the rest of their food is made with the same care. Great place, after 6 years it deserves the reputation it has and well worth a review. El Azteca FTW!!

Great value, excellent carnitas and breakfast burritos. Best as a take out place or a casual lunch due to the small lobby. Also it can be VERY slow during evenings. But its good, authentic street style Mexican food. If it was a little cleaner Id feel better about it. Also occasionally the food quality control is iffy. And one time they gave me a to go box that was beat up and doodled on. Honestly it deserves 3 and a half stars... But since theres no option Ill error on the up side. The food is pretty darn solid for the dollar.

This place gave me the worst food poisoning of my life from the red chicken enchiladas. I was sick for 4 days and had to stay home from work. My family for whom I bought different food did not. The food I ate was ok . the smothered burritos I bought for everyone else were good and they didnt get sick. My boyfriend suggested I give this place another chance because his food was great but I will never go back for the fear of getting sick again. I can make better food at home anyway but it was quick. Oh well.

My wife and I enjoy their breakfast burritos a great deal. Carlos is this businesss saving grace. He is happy to receive my business even though I make some changes to my burrito. There is one girl who over charges us routinely. We didnt make a fuss at first, but now its upsetting. Most people charge us $9 for 2 burritos customized how we like them. This girl always charged us $13. These figures are rounded up. These reviews have motivated us to speak with a manager the next time she does this.

Food was ok. Dont make any changes. Wife wanted an egg on her enchelada. We told her 3 times over medium. It came scrambled. We told our waitres and she said we dont do that here. I wanted some cilantro for my menudo and was told they dont have any (just in their pico) she asked where you order an egg on top or cilantro in menudu... Food was ok (rice was undercooked ) Service was average (attitude from waitres) Will not come back.

They dont have my favorite Chiles Rellenos in the world - but then again, I cant get my favorite chilles rellenos delivered - so...Im sold! Ive also had the carne asada tacos and carne asada torta. Both are phenomenal. The decor is sparse, as you would expect to find in a little shoestring budget hole in the wall restaurant. They totally deserve your business. Youll be delighted!

Very good breakfast tacos. I will strongly recommend them for that. The price is very good for the taste of the food. The only thing that is keeping this place from 5 stars is drink selection, salsa is bitter, and not enough seating for dinning in during typical eating hours if it gets busy. I have returned once already and plan to go back in the near future.

My food was ok, my wifes food was burned (meat) and the taco shells were not a good texture. The refried beans tasted good but looked like they had been microwaved and burned on the edges. They have NO chips and salsa. The prices are high for what you get. Likewise the seating and decor is old and plain, like a fast food restaurant. Will pass on this one.

Great Mexican Food! Must say.. Im impressed! Food is great.. prices are even better. Service is top notch! These people treat their customers like a good restaurant should. Their attitude is whatever it takes to make you happy without charging you an arm and a leg for it! The Carnitas are delicious, the tamales are excellent... just all around a great place!

So wanted a veggie burrito tonight and my husband wanted a thornton burrito . Called over and over again and the line was busy for 30 minutes! I dont think they were that busy and didnt want to go there and order and sit there! Think maybe the phone was not hung up! Went with second choice. Anthonys for spaghetti and calzone!

Came here after Santiagos ran out of breakfast burritos and I am glad I did. Freshly cooked food, tortillas are really good and service was quick and hospitable. Wish it were a bit more spicy, but burritos are big and they have a decent red sauce. If they could get Santiagos green chile they would corner the market.

Had tacos, enchiladas, tostadas and a burrito. Also, had rice and beans those were yummy too! All of it was good. Didnt care too much for the chicken enchilada it was a little dry. Service was fast and friendly. Place was clean and so were bathrooms. A little cold though. We will be back again. Good food!

We have been going to this place for the last 3 years and cant say enough good things about this place. The wait staff is always friendly and the food is top notch for authentic street Mexican. We have never had a bad experience so if your in the Thornton area I would definetly stop in, you wont regret it!

been over charged twice at this place already. if you let them, they will over charge you, an incorrect amount. theres a guy named "rezo" on the reviews here as well, read his review, he said the exact same thing im saying. its a real thing they are doing, over charging people.

This place was great! If you are looking for authentic Mexican food and you are in the area you need to stop here. My wife and I were going to go to fast food place next to it, but saw it and decided to try it. They are affordable and fast. You wont be disappointed.

Theyre awesome! My favorite taco shop here! These guys are from cali and they know whats up! Food is great every single time! Portions are huge especially for the price, super reasonable!!! Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for some yummy Mexican food!

Tried to over charge me two times in a row. Even when I explained the simple math, they tried to charge me over 20% in tax. I had to file a fraud claim with my bank because they would not refund my card for food I never received. Very rude customer service.

Their food is authentic homemade Mexican food and it is some of the best Ive ever had. We always feel very welcome when we come, almost like family. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that enjoys Mexican food.

Breakfast Burritos are giant and verry good. Carna asada w/chilli relleno in side a Burrito Deluxe out of this world . Staff is great. I love the place. PRICES ARE LOW. Blows Santaogos and Cafe Mexico out of the watter.
