I used to eat here at least 1 to 2 times a week but the quality of service went down a bit and prices went up. But I came in tonight and as I was eating alone I sat at the bar and ordered a sea weed salad since it didnt look like I would be getting my main order any time soon since all the waitresses were busy chatting it up with the party of one of an off duty waitress that had come in before me. And it seemed that my waitress was too busy pulling up her pant leg to show off the bruise on her knee to everyone. As I sat there waiting for my salad I noticed the table top was greasy so I moved down a seat, there I found a large piece of fried food stuck to the table so I moved to another seat. I finally got my order of 3 rolls and immediately could smell a very strong odor of fish, I quietly pointed it out to the chef and asked if he could identify which fish was CLEARLY off and simply remake that part. He responded with "we havent had any complaints about our fish today and it smells fine to me". At that point another waitress (not mine) came up and asked whats going on. I then quietly stated that the fish was clearly spoiled to which she responded again "well we havent had any complaints about our fish today" and then (her Exact words) "and frankly every time you come in here you have something to complain about". Granted the last time I went in I did find a large dead fruit fly in my wasabi which was verified by the chef whom had just handed me the wasabi and I was eating right in front of. At that time I simply pointed it out to him and he verified it was a fly in the wasabi, he apologized and offered to take off part of my meal on my check. And at the end of my meal I noticed that the girl had only taken off the least expensive roll and so I asked if they would take off the drink as well, the chef said yes no problem and the waitress said she felt the one roll off was enough compensation. Now I never made a big deal out of that instance because stuff like that happens, but for this rude little girl to tell me I always have something to complain about when she isnt even my waitress or a manager or anything is unacceptable! So after being called a lier by this rude staff saying Im making up the disgusting smell of the fish thats obviously spoiled and then being insulted by this waitress saying I "ALWAYS HAVE SOMETHING TO COMPLAIN ABOUT" I politely said "ok than, Ill pay for my salad and leave" to which she responded very cheerfully "Ok Great!". And while paying I asked if Mr Park the owner was in I was simply told "Nope!" And so I walked out while my waitress giggled. Im not one to leave bad reviews for anyone but this was ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR from beginning to end and though the seaweed salad was good the sushi this time was disgusting! And the wait staff was INSULTING AND RUDE! I literally will not return here again except for when I come in to speak to the owner when he returns next week.

Ive been here 3 times and originally loved it; to make it better theyre right down the road from us. The 2nd time we went we brought my father in law for the lunch special. The quality of food went way down when we got it for the lunch special price. I didnt like that but found it understandable because of the big price difference. Last night the day of snowing caused us to forget my birthday plans and pick a place to eat that is close to home. I got the beef Yaki Udon and my husband got chicken Yaki Udon. While we were looking at the menus we noticed they were sticky and dirty. Looking over at the sushi bar you see what appears to be years of dust hanging from the cool looking wooden decoration hanging from the ceiling and the cloth flap going into the kitchen has brown around the edges from being opened and closed. Honestly I didnt care to much about these warning signs but now I regret not leaving when we noticed this. About 5 hours after I ate I got deep stomach cramps; the type hat make you feel like your stomach will literally pop from gas but there was no gas. 7 hours after finishing the meal my body purged itself of the bad food. I know for a fact it was the beef in the Yaki Udon that made me sick. It was undigested and I tasted it as it came out. I have a stomach of steel and havent had poisoning since I was a child. Luckily once my body cleared it I was fine but if it was someone with a weaker stomach I dont think that would have been the case. Good food, good prices, quick service but I wont be going back.

No complaints! Maybe a few suggestions. Grabbed some sushi to go on the way to hotel after work. Service was fast and friendly. I would have appreciated an offer of water or tea while waiting. 4-7 sushi "happy hour" prices were fair. Cannot comment on some of the other cleanliness complaints people had, but my menu was clean, table I waited at was clean, no visible dust (even in the beam of sun coming through window). Did not use the restroom so I cannot comment on that either. Atmosphere and decor was simple, fun, and enjoyable considering the small and unpretentious nature of this strip corner stop. Sushi was well prepared; tight and good presentation (considering I got the order to go). Everything I needed was included in the bag. I would have preferred a bit more ginger on the side, but that is my personal taste. I did feel some of my selections of sushi rolls were a bit on bland side, especially considering 2 out of 3 were supposed to be "spicy." But not bad, and probably above par for Pueblo, CO. I was a bit suspicious about the color of my salmon and tuna (not a high quality cut, appeared a bit artificial) but texture was fine and taste was acceptable. On the whole, an enjoyable place to grab a bite. I will be back in this area a lot in the next year and will certainly be back to sample the rest of the menu as well as other sushi choices.

The waitresses are generally observant and attentive during the evening when my family and I arrive, and will usually be quite friendly whether or not you are a regular. They will always greet you with a smile when you come in, and allow you to pick our your booth or table. Despite this, I do find many of the sanatization issues rather foul. Menus may be sticky and have residue from another meal or the like on them around lunch time, and the tables might not be much better. Even during the evening things may be noticeably sticky. The restroom is generally well treated, but needs some polishing and a proper soap dispenser. Often the food is prepared very well and is quite enjoyable (I normally order the beef bento, chicken bento, galbi bento, or the vegetable rolls) but you may find instances of food poisoning due to the food not being prepared properly. This happened to me once when I was eating a sushi roll, and I nearly vomited because just having it on my tongue felt nasty- even though the roll looked fine. The restaraunt isnt a bad pick, but I would seriously consider watching what you choose to eat- and making sure to ask how it was prepared. The waitresses should be amiable enough to help resolve the issue.
