My friends and I last night enjoyed the cuisine at the Puukaow. the restruant is located next to the Safeway in Pueblo West and was no trouble finding. We were seated at a large (two tables together) table at the rear of a long narrow room. The table was very close to the back wall (one foot gap) so onlly a slender person could fit into the rear seats. The menu included many interesting entree. and a wide range of dishes. I felt the pricing schedule was out of line. Average pricing was about $13 including the salad selections. They offer spicy levels (0 - 5) you may select. My dish called the Drunken Noodle dish was less than generous and consisted of noodles, a couple sliver of bell pepper and carrot, with my meat selection of pork. I was disappointed with my selection. The sodas cost $2.75 each My wife found a way to get a better value dish by asking for thr Kids menu. The pricing averaged about $6 and portions were almost the same as the regular menu. I will not be returning because it was not an interesting eating experience.

The food was absolutely delicious! Never had anything bad and its always fresh love it! But the service was terrible. We were seated in a corner, had to get our own high chairs while the waitress just watched. She took our order and then just disappeared. Someone from the kitchen brought our food. She never came back to get us refills or to go boxes. We had to stand up and make noise and act like we were leaving to get any response from the waitress. Will probably just do takeout from now on. Great food terrible service

I ate there on 19 Nov 2010. The pad thai (chicken) was improperly cooked, it was darkened brown and heavily soaked in overuse of oyster sauce/tamarind. The ingredients were not fresh and it was overcooked. The spring rolls were disgusting (lettuce wrapped in soft eggrolls--NO flavor or seasoning)--just another example of incompetent cooks. They need to be fired, or go to Thailand to see how pad thai is supposed to be cooked. Stay close to the toilet after you eat there.

We were seated quickly and brought drinks quickly. Our waitress checked back with us quickly to see if we had questions or wanted to order. She was very attentive throughout the visit. The food was so good. I order pad thai. I know, simple. But seriously great shrimp and amazingly good temperature and texture all around. This was quality. Then there was the strawberry cream cheesecake which our waitress recommended. Wow! Check them out! You wont regret it.

Puukaow Thai is an outstanding place. The fact that its right in Pueblo makes it even more of a treat, because there are so few spots for Thai in town. Ive lived in and visited communities that are known for their food and specifically for their Thai spots, and Puukaow stands their ground with the best of the restaurants Ive been to. The staff is awesome, the atmosphere is nice and always clean, and the food is always exceptional. 5/5. Go here. More than once.

At first this place was great but the last couple of times we have gone it hasnt been so good. The food tastes and looks great but they have cut back on the portions. The waitresses are not as friendly and they dont even smile! We went there for mothers day and they spilled HOT soup on my mother and my brother...Accidents happen but I really feel like the service has gone down. If you go..go to lunch the prices are A LOT better and the food portion is ok.

Authentic and incredibly good food. If you order the coconut milk soup (Tom kaa) you will think to yourself "This is my new reason to live". You will find yourself scratching your chin and eying peoples watches and and rims thinking of how much you could pawn them for so you can go get some more Tom Kaa. Dont say you werent warned! Its your own problem if you want to try it and risk ending up in Thai rehab.

Delicious, authentic Thai cuisine. Not overpriced like some of their competitors. Chill sit down atmosphere. Friendly service. The only place in this town where i can get a legit Thai iced tea. The lemongrass soup w/jasmine rice is soooo good. Their tofu is my fav prepared in town. Just about anything on the menu can be made spicier. Cant go wrong with the classic pad thai.

This place is a great "diamond in the rough". The food is very authentic and prepared fresh each time I have been there. My favorite is the Seafood medly (extra shrimp) with level 5 heat, and the cucumber salad with a glass of plumb wine. Wow, just describing it makes my mouth water. Thank you for having such an amazing Oasis of Thia food in Pueblo West.

Worst service I ever experienced, ever. Our server looked very unhappy and took her sweet time getting our drink order; our food order, any order for that matter. We finally got our food and it was AMAZING. but our server never came back to check on us, we had to flag her down. The amazing food made up for the terrible service.

Fantastic Thai food in the Safeway strip mall in Pueblo West. More expensive than most are accustomed to paying in Pueblo, but average for Thai food elsewhere. Go for lunch to save some cash. My favorite - any of the curry dishes, my wife loves Pad Thai, and the kids love the shrimp and rice soup. Highly recommended.

First time there and it was awesome. Nice, cozy, very clean. Servers were super nice. Had a bite from every plate at our table only to find It was all incredibly good. If your a heat freak like me they have a dish to make sweat beads of joy. The plum wine was as good as I have ever had. I will be back for more.

More of a traditional take on Thai, the food is crafted with care in reasonable portions instead of trying to bombard you with huge quantities of cheap noodles like many Asian restaurants. This is much more of a quality sit-down restaurant for true fans of Thai food, and theyre very good at what they do.

Best Thai food. But if you want to order I suggest calling at least 45 minutes before close to either make sure theyre open or place your pick up order. More than once theyve stopped answering the phone 30 minutes before close and at least once they were locked up and dark before closing time.

This is such a great change of pace for Puebloans. They have made Pueblo a better place to live cause they improved the quality of life by opening such a great restaurant! What obviously makes it so wonderful too is their food. The owner is very sweet and Im glad that they have asian servers:)

We just order red curry fried rice but we got wrong order of red curry with white rice. Bring it back and they just mix it together and serve the same to us in few minutes. Not as good as we see it rated here. Just pass through town but expect better than this. Not nice at all.

This place is DELICIOUS!!! I was hesitant at first, as there arent many good cultural restaurants in the area (besides mexican of course), but it was absolutely terrific! I have already gone back 4 more times, and each item I have ordered has been equally devine...go try this place!
