Reviewed October 25, 2012 NEW I will not eat here again. I wanted the menu from the kitchen while my husband wanted to eat from the "teppan" table. My waitress was more than happy to try to meet our requests but the owner interuppted and said I could not sit there if I was not ordering from the teppan menu. I thought the customer was always right, but I have to say that is not the case here. I actaully felt like I was geting in trouble. The owner was arrogant and rude. My waitress did try her best to better the situation and made sure we had everything we needed. I felt sorry for her. I overheard the owner in the kitchen yelling at her for her allowing me to sit with my husband at the teppan table even though I wanted the ktihen menu. She tried to explain things but the owner clearly did not care. I even heard hm saying he did not want customers like this, who wanted to have things thier way. After our food was cooked, the owners contiued to try to talk to us. We tried to be polite but honestly it was annoying to go out to eat with my husband and have my table invaded by owners wanting me to compliment them. All I wanted to do was tell them go away so I could eat in peace. I felt bad for my waitress. No employee deserves that kind of treatment!

Their food is a bit pricey but it is the best tasting Japanese food ever. And you get allot of it. You can either call in a reservation to see them make your food. Or sit on chairs, (or the floor on cushions ) in another area. There is also a wonderful sushi bar. Their sushi is excellent as well. And on special occasions you call and set up a party in a small room near the front all Japanese. With the chairs on floor, and everything else. The service is wonderful and they have great memories. I went there, or four times and each time they remembered what we liked. Like my father said no spoon. Once and like two months latter we go back and she asked, "No spoon ,right?" They are very nice. And easy going. The atmosphere is very comfortable. I will go there again some time soon. Also a bonus if it is your birthday they sing happy birthday with you and give you a cupcake. Also a little teara on your head saying Happy Birthday. Real frosting!! Ha ha . I highly re-commend this place if you want to go out on a date, or spend time with family.

The owners are nicknamed Itchy and Scratchy because they are crazy. They call people in Pueblo stupid and crazy because out of the abundance of their hearts their mouths speak. They are rude to employees and make customers uncomfortable. They never give the teppan chefs who arent asian more than twenty dollars tip. Depending on who is cooking and who is making the sushi, you cant expect to get the same taste every time so watch out cause the food may not be good.

Did not eat there, because it was Sunday, and even though Urbanspoon said they are open on Sunday....they are wrong. I see in one of the reviews that a person "loves the Kobi steak," well, if they serve "Kobi" steak there, Urbanspoon needs to change the average cost symbol from "$$" to "$$$$$" but Im sure they wont have to cause; it aint "Kobi!" Not in Pueblo, and I bet it aint even Waygu, if it were Waygu, Id give some credence to it.....

Went for my daughters 14th bday, we loved it. Food was great, even my husband who is NOT a fan of sushi, found the grilled entrees very good! Fun atmosphere and quality sushi. The staff was terrific, very helpful ordering; even made a bday crown, and special dessert for my daughter to make her night really special*

I loved the food, and the atmosphere was amazing. I was very impressed with the owner. Even though he didnt speak English very well, he still took our order, prepared it himself, and delivered a first rate meal. Everyone there was friendly and helpful, and i had 0 problems. Definently worth the 5 stars.

I was driving through Pueblo and stopped at the Mill Stop cafe. What a surprise and treat. I was there for lunch and got there about 11:30. It was already crowded but found a spot at the counter. I think that any wait there would be short because of the way the crowd moves in and out.

From start to finish, the service and food were outstanding. Carlos greeted us, made some great recommendations his special lobster salad was delicious!) and checked on us several times during our visit. It was a wonderful dining experience. Highly recommended for special occasions.

Its hit or miss here. Ive had an amazing experience when the owner was cooking, and a not so great experience when another cook was manning the hibachi. During the not so great experience I also was charged for drinks I did not order. Either way its definitely worth a try.

My husband and I loved this place! I had chicken terriaki and vegetables, and my husband had chicken & noodle stir fry (I cant remember the actual name), and it was amazing!!! The wait staff was courteous and helpful, and the atmosphere calming and relaxing. Perfect.

Amazing food, good service, freindly staff. The atmosphere is laid back and there is no pressure to upcharge. Everyone was very freindly and entertaining. There is also a large assortment of saki and they have Sapporo. I will definitely be back here.

We had their hibachi for dinner. It was an interesting meal. The cook was quite and simply cooked. The food was blend and poor quality. Way over priced for the caliber of meal. Hate to say this but we have had better meals at mall chinese places.

Great Japanese - but best at one of the cooking tables. Tasty, fresh food. Try the steak or calamari dishes at the tables, and try the ginger and mustard sauces. Delightful owner will keep you entertained.

Only Japanese restaurant in Pueblo, four other sushi restaurants we have tried are Korean! Like the food, service and atmosphere. Give it a shot.

We had a total of four different waiters and waitresses. Service was terrible, but the food was alright after waiting an hour and a half.
