Went to the Do Drop about 6 months ago and just had to get to this review. I had a fantastic pizza that was tasty and refreshingly original. LOVED the food... Id give the food 5 stars, BUT... trust me when I say that the wait staff is atrocious! They are inattentive, rude, and apparently too busy doing stuff in the back to check on their tables. When we were waiting for our food (Be prepared because the food does take a while due to the bread on the pizza) we were drinking, talking, and enjoying the appetizer, but pretty soon our drinks were empty, the appetizer was gone, and not a single staff member in sight... FOR TEN MINUTES!!! After about 45 minutes when the wait staff did come back to check on us she smelled like a fresh cigarette. Id give the wait staff NO stars. Thank god the chefs are good, because otherwise no one would come back to this place.

Amazingly delicious pizza, if you dont mind a long (and I mean LONG) wait. Mind you, it is a type of sourdough that they use for their crust, so dont except typical crust. The pizzas are huge and the slices are thick - I can normally eat 5-6 slices of a regular sized pizza by myself, but just 2 slices of a Do Drop Inn pizza will fill me up just as much. Would highly advise deciding what kind of pizza you want and calling ahead of time to place your order so that you wont have to spend an hour or so waiting. Also the pizzas are pretty expensive ($20-30) but one pizza can easily feed a family of 4 with no one left hungry afterwards, so its definitely worth the price. Also still tastes good a day or two.later, after you reheat it.

A Pueblo favorite. Often cwowded with a moderate wait time but darn good pizza. Youll pay a bit more than most pizza joints but their crust and sauce just work with each other and produce something that you cant get anywhere else. They are not chincy on the toppings either. I prefer to go there for breakfast and they have a mean plate of Huevos Rancheros. There is a full breakfast menu of more "american" entrees and a breakfast pizza as well. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because the pricing is a bit high and the wait times can be on the long side. The food is excellent and there are delivery and pickup options available.

We had Do Drop Inn cater our wedding and not only was it very affordable but the food was awesome. I highly recommend the chicken piccata. If you want to give it a try- its on the buffet on Thurs or Friday, I cant remember for sure, but its incredible. Everyone was complimenting the food (we did a buffet) and kept asking who the caterer was. Hoss was easy to work with and made sure all the details were double confirmed as far as food, party size, drinks, locale, etc so there were no snafus. We were extremely happy with the entire experience and would happily use them again and recommend them to everyone we know!

When I first moved to Pueblo, everyone was raving about this place. I took my friends there for dinner and we all had small children. First it took forever to get service, then another 45 min to get our drinks. We sat there waiting for our order which we could see sitting there while the wait staff and the manager sat and ate their dinner! Then we got our cold food, they had messed up our order. We went to dinner before 6 pm and were there for hours. I would not go there again if the pizza was free. The manager also just made excuses for himself and his wait staff. Not worth a dime.

I lived in Pueblo for years and everyone kept telling me that I HAD to try Do-Drop pizza. I finally went with a group of coworkers to try this "incredible" pizza. I have to disagree with you, Pueblo. The crust is too thick and too sweet. The sauce is also sugary sweet. I prefer pizza sauce that tastes like basil, oregano, and garlic, you know, Italian! The other menu items are so-so on taste and the service is downright nonexistent. The staff is too busy conversing with their buddies that come in and hang around the bar to take care of their customers.

Do Drop serves a very unique pizza that has a sweet, thick crust that will fill you right up. Although the pizza is the highlight of establishment they also have a great menu of other dishes - try the sausage sandwich one of the best in town. They cook your order up fresh so it does take a bit of time, but this place has a great bar with some quality beers on tap so the wait never bothers me. Great service, great atmosphere, and awesome food! I suggest making your own pizza with pepperoni sausage, and pueblo chili!!!!

I ate at the original Do Drop Inn when it was down on Main Street back in about 1982. My parents and I came back for a death in the family. Had a layover in Pueblo for a connecting bus out east. We ate and had a wonderful pizza. Finally when I was in college, I rediscovered the place and fell in love with it again. Took my mom back when I found it. I still go whenever I have the money for a large pizza. Slow cooking times and such, but have really enjoyed the food over the years.

The food is good but rich. The pizza crust is a little sweet, but very delicious. Either you love it or hate it. The service is good as well. Prepare yourself to wait. Dont go to Do Drop Inn if youre in a rush (its worth the wait). The only problem I have is with the pizza on the lunch buffett. It seems like theyre always running out of pizza and you have to wait a while for the next pizza to come out. If youre not in a hurry this wont be a problem.

When we lived in Pueblo this was our go-to place for pizza. We hadnt been here in years but came for Sunday brunch while visiting family. It was awesome. Lots of really good food to choose from including breakfast favorites like eggs, sausage, bacon, french toast, etc. and PIZZA! I love pizza for breakfast. The food is very good and the staff is genuine and helpful. Its very down home and a very enjoyable experience dining here.

A lot of people dont like the taste of the crust - personally I do. I think Doo Drops pizza is awesome but they are painfully slow and I dont mean just sometimes. Even when they have their act together it can take 45 minutes after you ordered and if there is any problem...then you might need to bring a snack because I have waited over an hour before. Do yourself a favor and call it in - even if you plan on eating it there.

Very disappointed. We came in on recommendations and wont be back. The pizza on the buffet was old and cold. My child tried it, had a bite of pizza and wouldnt eat any more, we told the server she doesnt like the food. We had to order separate of the kids menu for her, they still charged us for her buffet! :-[ Unbelievable!! They dont even have a child price for the buffet. I am very upset... Dont eat here
