My girlfriend and I wanted to find some cheap Italian for dinner. We found this place and its one dollar sign signifying that it was a cheap place to eat. We arrive and are greeted nicely but then are sat at the smallest table Ive ever seen. Looking at the menu and most entrées were $14.00 minimum. The only "cheap" food were the calzones which started around $9.00. The waiter wouldnt refill my drink until I put it closer to my girlfriend since he only seemed to refill hers. The food comes and it was bubbling hot. I got the lasagna (which ran me $14.95). It tasted like the exact same thing you could get at Fazzolis. For that money you expect the food to at least be made in-house. The pasta was store bought, the salad seemed like it came out of a bag and came with a single store bought pepperoni on top of it (yeah I dont know why either). This place would have been fine if the food quality matched the price. Or if the service even matched the price at least. But the real kicker was when the owner came to a table next to us to speak to a couple I guess he was friends with. While sitting at the end of their table carrying on, he kept putting his hand on the wifes leg under the table while the unknowing husband sat across from her. Shady, shitty, sloppy.

Went for dinner on a Friday night. A classic, family-owned, Italian restaurant. Nice ambiance and the food was good. Restaurant was rather dark so be prepared to use the flashlight on your phone to read the menu. All entrees include a green salad, soup, and delicious rolls. We ordered the fried mozzarella for an appetizer (8 small sticks) which tasted as expected. One issue, I had turned my head momentarily and a member of the wait staff took our unfinished appetizer away without asking. Never had that happen before. Keep your eye on your food! Appetizers were followed by s fresh green salad that tasted fine but nothing special. It was followed up with minestrone soup which was a bit plain. Then came the hot, fresh-baked, rolls which were delicious. These were great and we asked the wait staff to bring more...which they did. Our entrees soon arrived hot and properly prepared. We ordered the homemade spaghetti, lasagna, spinach ravioli, and Rigatoni Dominic. Mama Louises is a traditional neighborhood Italian restaurant. The food tastes great and the hot rolls were delicious. Prices are a bit high but one must consider that you get a salad and a bowl of soup along with your entree. Kids meals were around $5.

Excited to try a non franchise restaurant on our anniversary. Only one other table in the restaurant when we walked in. There were 3 of us and we ordered 3 different entrees. All were mediocre. Way too pricey (2 entrees were 16.95/ea) for what we got. The soup had potential but had minimal ingredients (tomato base with chicken broth and shell pasta,). A couple of bites into the lasagna the top layer slid off revealing light ground beef that wasnt crumbled but looked like it was right off the styrafoam tray. Two of us liked the garlic knots, the other person didnt like the dark burnt looking bottom. Lastly, our server couldnt keep his eyes off the tv above our table. Even when he was at our table he was constantly looking up. Our daughter asked him to describe their manicotti and he replied, "Its spinach and ricotta cheese." She asked him what type of pasta was used and he said, "All pasta is the same". Obviously, we wont be returning. Too bad!

Service was fair and pricing was good, but the quality lacked severely. We started our order with mussles. They came out frozen in the center and lukewarm on the outside. Clearly they are just micro-waving this dish. Can you imagine, microwaving seafod?! Seriously WTF! Ordered a calzone with meatballs and mushrooms. The mushrooms were obviously canned and made up 90% of the toppings, the meatballs were virtually missing in action. Literally less than one spoonful of meatball meat. Very disappointing. It wasnt all bad though, the rich red sauce that comes with the calzone was top notch. Too bad they only give you a couple spoonfulls. I had to order a second dish of it just to cover the top of the calzone. I rate this place a step above Chef Boyardee, but a notch below Hot Pockets. If you are considering eating here, save your money and hit your grocers freezer, its the same food anyway.

My family ate at this restaurant Saturday evening, and we were not impressed. Upon entering the restaurant we were greeted with a dirty look from the hostess, not sure of her name but she had blonde slightly curled hair and she looked like she hated her job. As we were shown to our table, I noticed one of the waitresses drinking a glass of wine while standing outside of the kitchen (in the dining area). We sat down at our table, but were quickly asked if it would be ok to move us to another table (just outside of the restrooms. Joy.) We were so lucky that our waitress happened to be the one I saw having a drink when we first walked in....The food was o.k. but definitely nothing special, nor was it worth the hefty bill in the end. All in all this place has a great atmosphere, so-so food, and TERRIBLE costumer service. Will not be back, and if youre smart you wont either

A homey, atypical family run Italian restaurant with a nice patio in the summer... I truly enjoy going there for dinner.. Im single and handicapped and these people are very nice to me... I think they need to expand their menu a little bit, maybe to have veal something... I usually get their spaghetti and sausage/meatballs. It is very good, served hot and delicious. Prices are moderate from $13.00 to $25.00.. With very good house wine. It is a wonderful place to bring your family, or that special date as the surroundings are sort of romantic with good background music...

The food is excellent, the service attentive, and the prices are very reasonable. They have the best garlic knots I ever tasted, warm, soft, and not overbearing garlic. The Chicken Parm is great. My favorite is the Pasta Louise which is very spicy. I never get to try all the other dishes I want to try because I have to get the Pasta Louise. And their cheesecake is so good! You get soup and salad with dinner. Its just a very good Italian restaurant with nice atmosphere.

I could have made better Italian at home. I got the Shrimp Alfredo. The shrimp was boiled, you could tell because it had no flavor, and the Alfredo was watery. The soup and salad that comes with the dinner was nothing exciting. Neither was the house wine. My husband got the ravioli/spaghetti combo with sausage, they gave him a 3in sausage link for the whole plate. Not going back, was not impressed for the $50 we spent on dinner for 2.

As soon as I walked in the door, I was immediately helped by Kent. He grabbed my order and had food out to me in less than 10 minutes. I ordered the chicken parmigiana and highly recommend it! Food was authentic and fresh, not to mention one of my favorite garlic knots. Nice atmosphere, amazing service, and a great price. Cant ask for more. Glad to find my new local Italian restaurant!
