Went in for lunch. Got there early (about 11:30am) and beat the rush so didnt have to wait long but the line was pretty long by the time we left. Service was great- girl at the front was very friendly and polite. The atmosphere is nice. They have a large patio out front- though no umbrellas which makes sitting in the sun uncomfortably warm. Our food was ready fast. Thats about all the good I can say. I will preface by saying I do not like saucy BBQ- if you do you might like this place. I like smoked meat not BBQ sauce. Ordered The Chop sandwich with mac-n-cheese. Terrible. The meat might have been good if it wasnt doused in enough BBQ sauce to drown the cow it came from. Bun was okay- fried onions were a knock off Frenchs (I expected something more like a thinly sliced fried onion not a freeze dried one). Mac-n-cheese was awful. Shells with a weird smoky Velveta sauce. I didnt finish any of my lunch. My lunch partner got The Stack which he said was alright but not really worth the $10 price tag (it was the daily "Special"). Fries were hot and crispy but were overwhelmingly under seasoned. There are better BBQ places in the DTC- I wont be back.

The only thing we enjoyed were the burnt ends item. We ordered two meals with sides and chili fries. The burnt ends and the BBQ beans were really good, the cucumbers and tomato salad was good, but the servings are way small. The bbq chicken was dry. They replaced it willingly, but with another dry piece (we ate a few bites and didnt complain twice). The chili fries came out basically cold, with chunks of what looked like very old chili (dry and clumped together), canned cheese and unmelted shredded cheddar. Seriously disappointing. The Cole slaw was bland. The cornbread was cold. The side servings are very small, as in ramekin dish small. I was really looking forward to trying a place for BBQ in the DTC, but I wouldnt go back.

I dont like BBQ. But my family decided thats what they wanted that night for dinner, so reluctantly I had agreed. Weve never been here before so this place was new to us all. Did I mention I dont like BBQ......well this place is the ONLY BBQ I will be having again. And again...and again! The food was absolutely amazing. The only thing I wish was different would be the tables/seating. It was just a little crowded with 4 adults, a highchair and our 4 year old. But we made it work. All in all, you want some bomb BBQ, this is the place to be. And the portions a plenty, another plus because after one bite you just need more. I cant wait to go back.

Ordered brisket, turkey, baked beans and slaw to carry out. Meats were fine - nothing extraordinary. The sides were really mediocre. Baked beans were too runny and the slaw literally had not taste. Being from Kansas City I was expecting something better from a group that knows all about Kansas City BBQ. Known Paul Khoury since they opened Paradise Diner in Oak Park Mall and his concepts have always been spot on....but sadly not this time. Luckily, people in Denver have lower expectations for their BBQ. ;) Will continue to enjoy YaYas though!

The atmosphere was great, service great, sauces were great with nice variety. One thing that has to be changed is the CORN BREAD, it tasted like someone misses a ingredient.. it was very dry and lacked flavor.. The beans looked delicious, but it also lacked good flavor.... But once again, I am completely blown away by the lack of flavor of the cornbread.... Lastly, it cost $80 to feed a family of five, thats way to expensive... If you guys need a baked bean recipe, let me know and Ill be happy to share mines.. The Spencers

Everyone leaving a review doesnt know good bbq. Everything my girl got to eat was to tough to chew ( her sandwich included multiple meats) all of which were unsatisfactory. The cornbread was so dry that my son wouldnt even touch it, i had two bites off my piece. My sandwich on the other hand had me sick and throwing up within hours of eating it. Very poor service, very poor food, the price for the quality of food is unnacceptable. This restaraunt is just glorified based on the neighborhood it is located in, do not go here.

Just had Burnt End BBQ cater our Salon Event last night and the food was great! Normally, when you have brisket at a catered event the meat is usually dry and you have to slather on the BBQ sauce to moisten it up. Not theirs, the Brisket and the pulled pork were great! And their BBQ sauces were fantastic. They were on time, friendly and the price was right especially when feeding 30 people. Everyone in our group loved the BBQ and there were zero complaints. Thanks Burnt End BBQ, hats off to you!

One data point doesnt make a trend, so perhaps Ill try again to try and affirm or challenge my first and only experience here- which was lackluster. We arrived at about 4:00pm on Fathers Day...and they were out of nearly everything including ribs, burgers and corn. The tables were a bit neglected so we bounced around a bit to find one that was clean. The burnt ends I ordered were served promptly by a courteous staff and they were ok- Id eat them again but nothing to write home about.

Brisket was great, pulled pork was just average, mac n cheese was below average, hickory smoked beans was above average. The meat wasnt dry but why serve pulled pork with sauce already on it? It seems like a great way to cover up dry/over cooked bbq. I would like to be able to choose what sauces I put on my bbq not have them come out already coated with sauce. Its not my favorite place in the area but its not the worst bbq Ive had in the area either.

The BEST BBQ in Denver, and likely all of Colorado. I was stunned at how amazing all the meats tasted. Brisket, pulled pork, ribs, sausages, and even the smoked turkey was moist! The style is Kansas City, and they offer ~7 sauces to choose from their sauce bar. Reasonably priced, with sandwiches in the $7 range and full platters for $11. If you love BBQ and youve been heartbroken by all the lame places in town, this place will knock your socks off!!

The burnt ends are amazing! Everything Ive ever gotten there has been delicious. This time we got wings, turkey and chili cheese potato wedges (and obviously burnt ends). Mmm go good! They have a wide range of sauces to choose from. If you happen to be gluten free they have a dedicated fryer so you can actually eat the fries and wings, and their staff is very knowledgeable. I will definitely be back.

Ate at Burnt Ends on 06/12/16, afternoon. The meats are good, the sides are not. No seasoning on the coleslaw, baked potato salad...tasted blah. Disappointing that no bread pudding was made ...if its on the menu why is it not available? We wanted to try it! Not sure if Id go back again. It was a bit disappointing this time and unless sides get better, Ill find another BBQ joint!
