My sister suggested we go to this place because we really like Chipotle. Its similar to Chipotle, but they have a lot of good differences that really make their food AMAZING. As far as I know there are only 2 locations to this place, but Id love it if they would open up one where I was living. Ive enjoyed the chicken breast smothered burrito with the creamy habanero over it. Despite it being a habanero sauce its really fairly mild, but has a lot of great flavor. An interesting thing they do that really makes them different is they make the tortillas fresh in front of you. They put dough into a machine that presses it flat and then it gets put onto a flat metal surface while it toasts it. Very interesting to watch, and great to know that its all fresh.

I grew up in California, so my expectations for Mexican food are rather high. Mexicali is really fantastic. Friendly service, AMAZING tortillas, and good variety. Check out the menu online before you go, for no other reason than to figure out their sauce system beforehand--they make everything from scratch and so there are a lot of unique items, including the sauces, so it is wise to have some idea before going in. If not, its not too hard to figure out, and anything you try will be good! Extremely fair prices and a discount for UNC students!

Every time I go there it seems like the portions get smaller, there is less meat, and they are trying to charge me extra for something. I just ordered the Ensilada there and it was far more lettuce than anything else in the plate. It seemed like very little food covered in a mountain of lettuce. The flavor is pretty good, but they are really quite expensive in the realm of fast casual Mexican food. Walk across the street to Qdoba and the food is fresher except maybe the tortillas, but you definitely get a much better deal.

My sister and I stopped here for lunch on the first day of a cross-country road trip to Philly. I had chicken soft tacos, and an hour later in the car I was violently ill with food poisoning. I had eaten nothing else previously that day. My sister thankfully avoided the same fate because she is vegetarian and didnt have the chicken. I had to go to urgent care and our trip was delayed by a day. Having said that, the food was tasty (but certainly not worth the illness).

Love the food, always have. The white and green sauce together are magical with anything. Burritos are huge! The only reason I did not give the 5th star is that the customer service has gone down hill. There are a lot of people standing around socializing while a few work and they seem unhappy. Also, the tea is always empty, meanwhile you have 3 people who could be brewing as stated above.

This is a wonderful place full of mystery and suspense. The manager is a wonderful well built man that I would like to have over to my house for dinner sometime. The food makes me relive my time in a Columbian prison camp. Very authentic and full of the tastes of Mexico. I would recommend coming here for all occasions.

I had a steak burrito smothered in the creamy habanero sauce and it was literately the best burrito Ive ever eaten. Its more expensive than say Chipotlé, but more authentic, wholesome ingredients. The tortillas are scratch-made in the restaurant along with the sauces. Great eat.

Absolutely awful food. We had shredded beef tacos & a burrito and it was disgusting. The beef had the oddest flavor, I couldnt even finish 1 of my tacos. Tasted like it was marinated in cups of salt. Worst Mexican food I have ever had. Will not go back.

The chicken tortilla soup is the best Ive ever had, and coming from the state that invented tex-mex that says it all! The staff is the best, always helpful and friendly. Their sauces are unique and flavoful, a perfect complement to chicken or beef.

Incredible food, usually friendly staff, and the creamy habanero cant be beat on top of the sweet pork! Id give it 5 stars if they were open in time for regular people to eat breakfast, even if it were 7 am! 8 am is too late to start serving.

This is the first time that Ive ever been here. I had the smothered burrito and it was excellent. The creamy habenero sauce is excellent. The food is so good that the lines can be quite long if you get there at the wrong time.

Very good food sort of a gourmet burrito shop nice change from the other gourmet burrito shops. They make the tortillas right in front of you and have different sauces to smother the burrito in.

Fresh, delicious food, customer service is slow and lacking sometimes. They need more employees devoted to customer than the food being prepared.

This brings me back to my college days at CSU! The sweet pork with red on the inside and white on the outside is still amazing at this location.

My brother swears this is the best Mexican restaurant. He loves the food and orders extra tortillas to take home. Fresh food and good service.

Pretty good food, a bit on the pricey side for what you get, and a little to far from regular downtown Greeley to make it worth while.

Really good burritos. A little high but worth getting once and a while. White creamy sauce is absolutely worth coming in and trying.

They add sugar to every dish they serve including the tortillas they make. Who adds sugar to "MEXICAN" food?

The creamy habenero is the best. I usually eat here about once a week. Kids eat free on Mondays.
