Never order oysters that are on sale. LOL If you are discounting your oysters because theyre not fresh - DO NOT SERVE THEM. I was naive because Ive never been fed raw oysters past their prime. The oysters we were served last night were HORRIBLE. Poor Phil felt like he had to try eating 4 of them. We should have sent them back, since it was a long morning in the bathroom this morning. The tuna poke salad was ok. We also got a sushi boat which had WAY too much "krab" with a K on it. In total around 6-8 pieces were krab and rice only. That was very disappointing. The raw fish sashimi pieces were really just ok. The restaurant is nice looking and the service was wonderful but for us, sushi is about the fish and a lot of what we were served was unappealing to downright inedible. We sure are missing Sushi Akai in Loveland. I dont think we need to try this place twice.

Can you ever go back home?. Disclaimer: I cut my sushi chops at the hard-to-find Old Town Fort Collins joint. This is where I fell in love with the Buddha Roll, the Jeff Roll and lightly wonderful cucumber salad. But can you go back to your first love? I have had sushi everywhere in the world and this is the blue ribbon, the benchmark. In its first evolution, it was a crowded little place that bent over backwards to serve. Success and investment bought it a larger building which feels strangely impersonal to this Toro-loving guy. But it is hard to overcome good food with any quirks and so Suehiro remains a much recommended local eat. There are others in town but dont bother. Stay on the new Corbett Street location and drink down free refills of Miso soup from heaven.

I eat at this Suehiro almost weekly, if not bi-weekly. I have had sushi all over the US and in my personal opinion I cannot find a better menu item then Suehiros own "Saturday night special" roll. Fantastic! I have recommended many people including family/ friends and strangers to Suehiro. Most of the wait staff knows me by name at this point, Ill continue to stand behind my opinion of Suehiro and I urge you to give it a shot! Best sushi in Fort Collins hands down. If nothing looks appetizing or to your liking, check out a Chefs creation. Give a few tips on what you like in your roll and bam! A wonderful creation you will receive.

Poor quality fish, poor quality sushi chefs. I recently had a bad experience to which the wait staff & manager didnt care. I found big bones in my sushi, pointed them out to the waiter who said he would tell the manager & then brought my check. No manager came to apologize or comp even a $6 sushi roll full of bones. The sushi chefs dont know how to make sushi rice & as I dipped the roll into the soy sauce, it fell apart. Sushi rice should be sticky so this doesnt happen. I will never eat at Suehiros again. If you want great sushi, go to Jaws by the college. Excellent sushi there.

The place smells like the aquatic pets section of petsmart. As someone who has eaten at every sushi place in the area, this one is definitely the worst. I was actually pissed that I had to pay for it because I ate none of it. The lobster roll tasted like a disgusting crustacean you would find at the bottom of a swamp. I nearly vomited here. When we were walking up a group of guys leaving said this was the worst place they had eaten, but then said they were kidding when I overheard them. I dont think they were kidding. The rolls were also sloppy and loosely rolled. Gross.

Count your sashimi! Went to the Harmony Suehiro and ordered a small sashimi plate which was supposed to have 5 assorted pieces. Got a plate overflowing with filler and only 3 pieces of sashimi for $10! Ordered the miso sea bass (which was delicious) and received 2 tiny little pieces of fish and a ton of filler for $14. Poké was good, but again, very little fish and lots of filler. Been eating at Suehiro almost 9 years. Sad to see them start to skimp and offer less value for the money. Felt totally ripped off and am not going back. Ill stick with Sushi Jeju.

Would not recommend this restaurant because of poor service. Though I was seated quickly it took about 5 minutes for our server to initially greet my party. Service was inattentive to my table throughout the meal. When we were finishing, our server and other members of the staff gathered at the bar and started eating and making themselves drinks. I understand it may have been near the end of their shift but it was still an hour until the restaurant closed. I feel like this hints at poor management standards.

There was hardly any people here when I first came in, thought it was weird but now I understand. I ordered chashu ramen and, to be honest, Id rather eat cheap Maruchan from Walmart. Chashu meat was about the only good thing from the bowl; there was hardly any broth and what little broth I did get tasted like water. 15 DOLLARS FOR NOODLES AND WATER WTF. My friend had the Miso Kobe Steak, seemed like he liked it so I guess its good but then again hes a fatass.

Food was good, not great. I think they try to get too creative. The real problem is service. 630 reservation on a busy Friday night, 25 minutes for drinks, 1:20 for food, waitress disappeared for long stretches, manager seemed like she would pay attention then just walk by and bus another table since there were no bussers or food runners. Since we went with FTC friends we have no reason to return and wouldnt if we lived here.

Max and Tyler are incredible, both as chefs and severs. We sat at the sushi bar only to be amazed at there ability to cook and entertain us during the wait time. I will definitely recommend this restaurant to any body that ask "Where to get the best sushi in Colorado". Its also great to see that the owner is present in the restaurant, she will welcome you with a smile. P.S. Order the chefs creation....

Ive been here so many times. Ive never had anything I didnt like at Suhiro. The Heart Attack is amazing, the Las Vegas roll is great, you have to try the Gyoza too. So many good things here. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are great. If you like sushi, this is a great place to go. If you dont like sushi, this is still a great place to go.

As manager of one of the busiest coffee shops in town, I really appreciate efficient but personal customer service. Our server Sean really made the whole group feel taken care of, and made fast friends with several of my associates. His attention to detail and serving prowess made this a singularly pleasurable dining experience I will not soon forget.

Connor is amazing. He treated the restraunt staff and customers like he owned the place and it wanted the place to last. I was extremely impressed. He was respectful, happy, and on task. I thought he owned it until another waisted said he didnt. On top of great staff, the food is to die for. Happy happy happy!
