I stumbled upon this place while visiting the Colorado Springs area. All you can eat fresh prepared sushi to order. I was traveling with friends and we decided the next day we would check this place out. We had an amazing experience. The restaurants chef "Elvis" was super friendly. The sushi amazingly fresh, service that was quick, and a price that made it absolutely amazing. As you can tell from the picture the chef nicknamed "Elvis" is a big Elvis fan.. The interior is decorated with all sorts of Elvis memorabilia. Ive visited more than once now, and one time unsure how hungry I actually was they offered to let me order from the menu, and convert to all you can eat once I hit the price point of the AYCE option. This blew me away.. and sealed the deal that has kept me returning every time I visit the Colorado Springs area. The AYCE includes a wide variety of items, I cant even remember how many servings of green tea ice cream or how many rolls we ordered at the table. The waitress was laughing due to the amount of sushi 3 guys were able to put down. It almost became a challenge for us as she began recommending items and bringing them to the table. The menu has a huge variety of rolls including creme cheese rolls, tempura fried rolls, rolls with shrimp, crab, salmon, tuna, and at the time of my first visit even one with beef bulgogi style meat in it. We had edamame and miso soup as an appetizer, gyoza between rolls, and green tea ice cream to finish. Everything was amazing, fresh, and was some of the best sushi Id ever had. If your a sushi fan, and visiting the Colorado Springs area this is a must stop for you. I cant wait for my next trip up so I can visit this place again. *Disclaimer* Im not sure if the side items & deserts are still included on the AYCE option. It has been a little over a year since my last visit and since then they have opened a 2nd location.

We went to the location on S. Nevada about 6pm on a Sunday and Im not somebody typically writes reviews, much less bad reviews, but I am somebody that loves sushi, and this place just didnt cut it! Overall, I wouldnt say any one aspect of the place was horrible, it was just the culmination of multiple issues that will keep me from going back, especially this location. (1) The place is tiny, and Packed! They only have 3 tables and the rest of the seating is the sushi bar, even the servers (who were very nice and polite) have a hard time navigating the place because of the space and layout. (2) Within minutes of being there and being seated, it was obvious that this place makes its $$ with the All You Can Eat special. From what I observed, if you sit at the Sushi Bar, you will get your food within just a couple minutes of ordering it. If you sit at a table, it could take a while...like 40 minutes after ordering before the 1st roll came up and then almost 10 minutes between rolls until I politely let the server and the sushi chef on our side of the restaurant know that we needed to go soon...with or without the rest of our food. (3) I would give the Sushi itself 3 stars, but thought it would be more appropriate if it was priced accordingly. Many other places around town alone beat this place in quality, and price is the same. (4) and lastly, just because I have already written too much, there is NO atmosphere here. Again, just an overcrowded room with a bunch of people who want All You Can Eat California rolls..I hate to do this, especially because the servers really were nice and polite, but if youre somebody who doesnt mind spending $60-$70 on sushi for two, this place isnt where you want to do it.

I think it is funny that I have been coming to sushi ring since the first day it opened and they were on channel 5 news. I have never written a review but I wanted people to know the truth. I honestly laugh when I read some of these reviews. First off, the food is fresh, incredibly fresh for being a mainland sushi restaurant. Second yes it is small and gets crowded but the staff is friendly, and yes sometimes you have to be patient when you order because so many people go there because it is so good. I have been to other sushi restaurants in Colorado Springs, such as AI off powers, Fujama on Tejon, and Sushi Rayyko up North. When I went to AI even though I was warned not to I got sick. Many people have gotten sick from there, so my advice, stick with Habachi or warm cooked food when going there. Now Fujama downtown is terrible waiting times. I think there sushi is good but last time I went it took 50 minutes and two beers before our rolls came. It took 20 minutes to order the beer. And last but not least Sushi Rayyko, the only other all you can eat sushi in Colorado Springs. It is ok, but they overdue the rice, and dont give you a lot of fish. Just Smaller portions. I want fish, fresh sushi, larger pieces, and less filler like rice. I honestly dont care what YOU think of sushi ring, I will continue going there, like all there other faithful customers, like myself. They are friendly, they appreciate the military, and one day they even went above and beyond and let me come back the next day to pay because of Wells Fargo error my card was declined. I just wanted you all to know how I feel about sushi ring and that regardless of how you feel Im glad this world traveler has good Sushi right down the street.

Yellowtail Yellowtail Yellowtail!! This place is a fantastic little gem of a restaurant gets packed quickly but the helpful staff are very much up to the challenge. I love sushi and have been craving good Yellowtail not every place serves it and not all are cut equal. But when I say that this fine establishment gives cuts of yellowtail as tender as if every cut is sashimi Im not exaggerating. I ate 30 pieces of sushi and two rolls by myself I was in sushi nirvana and then to top it off they have mojis and red bean ice cream! Im going to be working overtime just so I can afford to go here every week!! And to top it off the owner is a business owner after my own heart in the midst of all the craziness and packed house not only did they keep the orders Rolling out after a party of 14 came in and packed the place the gentleman came from behind the sushi bar and bust our table as we were leaving and introduced himself and made a Yellowtail recipe recommendation that I will definitely be trying on my next visit. Id like to think that I made an impression when the first round I ordered was 14 pieces of Yellowtail but I believe he is just that type of attentive and gracious host I wish I could give more stars but at the very least I will post more positive reviews and pics whenever I can they dont need my help to stay open they have phenomenal customer service and the sushi will keep you coming back for more and more only two rules cant take it with you and eat all your rice!! You can be glutinous but no wasting food!
