The food is always wonderful! The reason for the 2 stars is: I recently looked up the phone number to place an order. I clicked on their website to look at the menu. Thats when I saw a Today Special for the Family meal for $35. I called and mentioned the special and was put on hold for a few minutes. Then an employee with better English came on the phone. I asked about the special and she said they dont have a website anymore and the Family meal is $46. I told her I did not want it, and before I could order something else, she hung up. So I called back and tried placing an order. The person answering the phone had a very strong accent and couldnt answer my questions. When I got there, maybe 5 mins later, the order had not gone in the back yet. I asked the owner about the website and was told that they tried canceling it and cant take it off line. I asked if people look on line and ask for that special and she said no. Then went on to tell me that it was their busy lunch time and she was extremely busy. I told her she was being rude which she denied. She was obviously irritated that I looked up their old website and asked for a special they dont have. Like I would know that they tried to cancel it and I should have never had asked for that special

The management has made it terrible. I come here every time I come back to the Springs and it just keeps getting worse. I called to get 2 lunch specials to go at 3:17 and the guy refused because they stop serving lunch at 3pm. Really? Thats bad customer service. Whom ever is running this place is running off their long time customers. This is the second time in a week that I have had poor service. Now they are just another south nevada dive that you should avoid.

I love this little diner on South Nevada. The customer service is superb. The wait staff is always friendly and happy to see me. The chef prepares very tasty food and at a really reasonable price. Remember, its a small diner and not a gourmet restaurant and with that you can relax in an authentic atmosphere and enjoy great food.

Its either going to make you smile profusely or make your tummy hurt. When they get it right, the food and service is phenomenal. But the 50% of the time, in my experience, they DONT get it right makes your insides feel as if they are seeing their last hour.

I have been eating this for years and never had a complaint except one of the other places in town stopped doing the kids meals in the car shaped plates lol im always down for some soup I also think its awesome you can by their sauce at the counter.

This place is absolutely awesome! For 6.25 out the door, you get a very tasty lunch that will fill you up. And on top of that, they are always extremely friendly! I definitely recomend Yakitori to anyone in the springs, again and again.

Sorry this place has gone down from the past ownership Torrie bits are now chicken they used to be beef. They were burned bad then the menus said#23 & #24 $7.75 bought nothing eles charged us $22.79 WTH Never going back.

When Im in Colorado Springs this is a must visit. The "Lonnie special" is great! I dont normally ever eat cole slaw, but whatever they do to theirs its great. Service is always good and friendly.

Yaki and Tori bits are real good. With a broth soup and cabbage salad .crab Rangoons are good . egg rolls are good.rice ball good .I eat hear over a dozen tines in the last 4 years.

This is one of the best places to eat... I always get there specials... I dont think you can go wrong with anything. But its also about preference and there Yaki sauce is homemade!
