What a great coffee spot. Such friendly service, willing to serve and suggest great coffees. Customers come first for sure. It has a great feel and amazing atmosphere. It really captures the raw coffee culture. The cortados are probably my favorite but the pour overs, lattes and, cold brews are just as good... Actually their whole menu choice is great. They dont have flavor coffee, FYI, but their coffee is better that way! Pure delicious coffee! Also its a great place to study ready a book, go on a date, or just chill and unwind! Oh they also have part of a plane in their back patio pretty RAD! A must go!

This coffee house is pretty awesome. They serve their coffees/teas in ceramic, wide mugs when you order for "here". Seating is what Id call intimate: tables are close together, theres a big long table for 12 right in front of the service counter, where random couples or larger groups sit "together". They have a few snacks, I didnt try any but my friend had an empanada... it looked good and he said it WAS good. The prices are fair and my chai was deelish. My friend ordered an espresso, not knowing he was gonna get a single shot of espresso in a tiny ceramic mug, along with a tiny spoon. It was adorable. :)

Hands down, BEST almond milk latte in town. The owner and employees are friendly, welcoming, and just great people all around. I work next door, and had the privilege of watching this shop come to life from the ground up. If you get the chance, talk to the owner (Hani) and ask him his story. He and this coffee shop are evidence that dreams come true, just keep working towards what you want. I highly recommend this place for business/networking meetings, hanging out, or inspiration. Especially if you want to soak up the energy of your dream coming true... this place is magical all around!

Love the atmosphere in this place. Lovely outdoor patio with live music and tasty coffee, but each time weve come it seems like they are just too busy to deliver good service! Out first ever experience, it took 25 minutes to make two items (likely because the order was lost). Our recent attempt to revisit was not much better - one drink was made iced instead of hot (after the barista asked two separate times to double check). The gals behind the counter were talking about how chaotic it was, and that sure seems to be the theme of this joint.

Steam is much more than a coffee shop or even an espresso bar. It is intentional excellence on all levels, from the amazing space that the owners imagined & created to the hand picked, warm welcoming staff (that are all expert baristas without any of that weird barista ego stuff) to all of the locally sourced food and coffee choices etc.. etc.. What it boils down to is you how you feel when you leave which is delighted and like you just discovered a very special place in Denver. Love it.

My favorite coffee shop in Denver. They make a great cup, shot, or specialty drink with great quality and attention to detail. Vibe and atmosphere are always relaxed and comfortable. Staff is always friendly and outgoing, always greeted at the door. Not much in the way of food selection, but Wash Park has plenty of that. I make a day trip from Boulder to Denver every so often, and Steam is almost always the first place I stop.

First time here. The service is great and friendly. Great coffee (got a pour over), great fresh baked pastry (huge), and absolutely love the set up. They have garage style windows behind the bar that leads to the patio so you can order from inside or outside. It is closed when its colder but once it warms up they open it up for service. I havent seen that before :)

I absolutely loved this quaint, neighborhood coffee bar. There is ample space to get work done while enjoying the amazing raspberry chocolate croissant and almond milk latte. :) The environment is laid back yet professional, the music is just right and it isnt too loud to get work done. Being in this cute place made me feel happy!

Amazing staff, attention to detail everywhere you look. And that barista Rachelle Wood is so hott right now (all the other baristas are great too!). Boxcar coffee served. Just what the neighborhood needed. Also, Hani, the manager/owner is phenomenally friendly and interesting to talk to. Order a coffee on pour-over or a cappuccino.

Great atmosphere. A nice rustic chic look that is comfortable. They have seating that is specifically for people wanting to sit for a little bit (time limit 30 min) but they also have plenty of indoor/outdoor seating. Coffee and food is pretty expensive though. Great baristas; they are super friendly.

Ive been a patron of Steam since they opened. Hani and his team are awesome! They are warm, welcoming, and awesome baristas. The atmosphere at Steam is top-notch and is always crowded which is a sign of a happening place. Love Steam and so happy they carry Trumpeau croissants - so awesome!!

My absolute favorite coffee spot. The coffee is amazing (recently tried an almond milk latte and was deliciously surprised). Love sitting outside on weekend mornings. The staff are always wonderful, and the high quality is consistent. This is the place I take people I like for coffee.

Im not a huge coffee fan but I love my Chai and the chai here is great! It can be hard to find decent, well-flavored chai. Most places carry cheap, sweet, flavorless chai but not Steam. I cant remember the name of the brand they use but its out of Boulder and it was delicious.

Beautiful space, a bit under staffed but I can understand due to the low profit margin of cafes. The single person in the bar got through the drinks quickly and did not skimp on quality. Reduced by one star, since the double shot latte I got was extremely milky.

Eclectic + retro neighborhood coffee shop! This place is great: an amazing vibe for work, chilling, or meeting with friends with a spacious inside and an outside courtyard and backyard. The coffee is fabulous - especially iced for these hot summer daze!

Its a very cool shop, but they serve boxcar coffee, whose roasting quality has really gone downhill in the past year or so. Ive had some good drinks there and some bad ones. I think theyre doing the best they can with inconsistently brewed coffee.

A perfect neighborhood coffee shop with Box Car Espresso! The baristas are very welcoming and the space is filled with lovely light! And there is an air plane in the back! Lots of gluten free dessert options!

Coffee snob (in a good way) level coffee quality. Unusually good almond milk latte. Also surprisingly good is the cashew curry muffin bar thingy that always sits on the counter by the register.

Like this place a lot. Good coffe. Cute place. A little disturbing to see waist length hair free flowing behind the bar. Maybe some attention to health practices would be in order.

This is one of my favorite coffee shops in Denver. The baristas are so friendly and the interior is gorgeous! They make phenomenal coffee! I would recommend their Mocha!
