I would like to come here more often however I continue to have bad experiences. The first was when I brought my brother and his son to Pub Penn on a Saturday at 2:00 in the afternoon and was told that every one had to be 21 and over even though the sign on the front door said 21 and over after 5pm. When we brought this to the waitresses attention she had nothing to say. After staying away for a few months the convenience of the Pub brought me back just so I could sit through slow service, all my empty glasses and dirty dishes in front of me (while the bar tenders stand at the service well talking with their friends) fighting of flies that have gathered around my dirty dishes and empty glasses. Ill start walking to Charlie Browns.

Wings are bomb!!! Gator Dust is all youll ever need on em This is your local neighborhood pub if you live southeast of the Capitol. Servers are super friendly and the bartenders hook it up Free pool and foozball on weekends! This is a bar to get sloppy at! If you go over the line, theyll keep you in tow---good people. However, upon entering, at the very far right of the bar is where the regulars sit. They earn their seats and should never be disrespected in whatever fashion or definition of the word you can imagine. They keep the lights on. If in their good graces, they may buy you a shot. If not, well then you just shat where you eat pardner.

The sign says 2 buck Budweiser drafts outside 11 to 7 the server got the manager involved the manager acted like it was such a horrible thing to give me that on wing night he said not on wing night but it doesnt say that really acted like I was busting his balls whats the big deal pints cost is on like 25 cents why not give it to the customer because he read the sign that says it is so you can do better than that anyway gave me a beer but would rather have what the sign said outside relax manage rt geez

Solid dive bar with great specials but you get what you pay for when it comes to service and quality of food, and small TVs. The patio area should be much better than it is, theres a weird wall that keeps it in the shade and makes it feel cavernous, and the parking should be removed (allowing some street parking) to expand the sitting area (which would make it one of the best patios in town) and complete the sidewalk. Having said all that, the atmosphere and crowd are great for grabbing a drink.

This was one of the worst nights of my life going to this bar. First of all, I got food poisoning from their wings. Second I was hit on inappropriately multiple times by the OWNER. I kept trying to brush him off and he pinched my butt! All the while blowing is cigar smoke in my face!!! Plus was having drinks ALL NIGHT and treating not only me in a disgusting manner. Also saw him screaming at some other patrons. I will NEVER go back and I suggest the same for all women to STAY AWAY.

While the atmosphere was great, the service was less than to be favored. While we sat ourselves down, it took our waitress over 10 minutes to come and clear our table. I understand that it was busy for $6.00 all you can eat wings night but she didnt seem to want to be there and even asked at the end of our meal if we would hang out so that no one else would take the table while she went and had a smoke break. Unfortunately for her, we did not.

Got good service and the food was great, but... We had to sit on the patio (with our dog) and nobody had a problem going out of their way to blow cigarette smoke in our faces the entire time. There was also a pack of intoxicated women screeching at each other so loud that we couldnt even hear ourselves (at 7 pm). Definitely entertaining to say the least, but I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.

I believe the gentleman who reviewed this place is speaking of Cafe Netherworld. Pub on Penn is only a year old. Great bar, people, bartenders, and Jukebox. Great neighborhood bar. Good for all types from rock to jock in the Hill. Only reason I give it a negative on service is because at the beginning, the service was HORRIBLE. It has gotten a lot better, for sure. Pretty good specials too.

I RECOMMEND THE WINGS (on a regular night, not on wing night). Big portion, good value. Overall this is a good neighborhood place, though service can be hit or miss (everyone seems to know each other, it can feel kind of clique-ish if you are on the outside, including from the waitstaff), but generally staff is friendly. It is always loud in here, regardless of how many people.

Speaking as a server myself youre server hongyee, she acted like she didnt really care if we were there or not... Not very responsible.. Smoking on the job while in front of us. While we had empty pitchers for at least 15mins(when we wanted more beer)... Wings were good.. But wonder what you teach your servers... Because the food may be good.. But the service =000000

1. Took the waitress 10 minutes to notice we had sit down and come get us started. 2. Same ditzy waitress screwed up our very simple order. 3. As the Broncos/Raiders started, the smaller TV in our corner was put on a different game. When asked to change to the Broncos, the TV was set to yet a different game. 100% unacceptable from a sports bar in DENVER.

Went in last night to have a few drinks and get some food, instead my friends and I got the worst service that I have ever experienced in a restaurant or bar. I recommend that they find a new bartender, but honestly i couldnt care less if they do because I will never return.

Been there a few times and really like it. Better than average pubfare, only your favorite beers, fuel tv on the tv, and the pool tables are level. If you live around there its a great place for a few drinks, some billiards and pretty good chow. Give it a shot.

This place is a total dive but they have trivia some nights and good food specials. Go on Tuesdays and you get all appetizers (their whole menu) at half price. Service is a little slow but nice enough and everyone is a local.

Walked in, stepped up to the bar, and the bartender was incredibly rude. Rolling her eyes as I asked about the happy hour and beer prices. Asked me to repeat myself several times and gave a huge sigh every time I did.

The pub on penn offers pretty good burger and drink specials. The service is really hit or miss. If you arent a big drinker sometimes the wait staff just ignores you until you get ready to leave.

$5 all you can eat wings on Wednesdays. What more could a guy ask for? Oh yeah, do $7 beer pitchers sound good too? Great place eat with friends but it does get crowded at times.
