I came here with a group of friends on a Saturday night. The atmosphere was fun, the music was fantastic, the drinks were good, but when I went to close out my tab, nobody knew where my credit card was. I had been drinking (hence the tab) so thought maybe I had started a tab at the other bar (upstairs vs downstairs.) Still though, nobody could find it. I asked if there was anywhere else it could be and was told no, and chalked it up to a dark bar and figured maybe it would be found on the floor in the morning. I asked if I could sign and close out without it and was told no. So I left. When I called in the morning I was informed that since I had given my card to a server (roaming the bar, I wasnt at a table) thats why they couldnt locate my car to close out. So I got to make a special trip to pick up my card AND got to pay the walkout tip. Maybe Im out of touch, but I think any business who takes my card should be able to find it somehow when I want it back. If I go back, itll definitely be cash only for me.

Came in on Memorial Day and was greeted as soon as my friend and I walked in directing us upstairs to the roof top patio but, what he neglected to tell us was to go up to the bar and bring your pint up with you! We sat at a table and was ignored. Even though there were two servers working we never got greeted or service. After about ten minutes one of the servers said someone will be over soon. After watching them have a conversation with eachother with their backs to us and after sitting for 15-20 minutes still without services we got up and left. I will never come back this place there too many pub brews in Colorado where the beer ,food and SERVICE is excellent!

We hosted an event for Habitat for Humanity this past week and received phenomenal service, and great prices. The staff and management took care to make sure the event was a success and the quality of the appetizers exceeded our expectations. The food was delicious and the venue was secluded, and very well decorated, (something they took upon themselves to do, without us even needing to ask). They even had someone on their staff draw a sign for our event, which turned out to be a near work of art. I honestly cant say enough good things about the Irish Rover. Great place to host an event or just grab a beer. Theyve earned my loyalty for truly going above and beyond.

I live in Arizona and knew that my son was attending a "Geeks Who Drink" trivia meetup at the Pub this evening. Today is my sons birthday so I called to see if I could buy a cake or dessert or something in celebration since I cant be there. Alan was a sweetheart and said they dont offer dessert or take payment over the phone, but he would be willing to comp him dinner in honor of his birthday! That is the ultimate in customer service! Thank you, Irish Rover Pub, for helping a mother out! Makes me feel warm and fuzzy!

Absolutely it was all about the incredibly friendly staff and the service. Great personalities and especially how personable they are with you makes you feel truly special during your drink and dining occasion.It is beyond any percentage of tip one would consider. Rooftop and rear beer garden patios are twice as nice for some fresh air while enjoying a professionally pulled pint of Guinness. Satisfying tasty plates are consistently put out by the kitchen staff as well. Thanks guys.

I could write a novel about this venue, but in short the staff was wonderful and made sure the surprise birthday party we had went off without a hitch. The food was plentiful, and all of guest were very please with the appetizers and main course. Furthermore the drinks were affordable and poured as you would expect from an Irish pub. Overall we received the kind of service, food, and drinks of a location twice the price with a down to earth staff willing to go above and beyond.

Had our wedding there in October. The most wonderful and helpful staff Ive ever dealt with. They were willing to work with us on numerous special requests for the event. The day of the event could not have gone smoother their staff were on the ball and friendly and made the whole day spectacular. And the price was extremely reasonable we cannot tell enough people about this place. Its a hidden gem in a sea of overpriced unaccommodating venues in this city.

I have visited this place several times on different occasions and always been treated well. The staff is very friendly and fast. One of the waiters, a guy with the beard, is always funny, social and attentive. During the week they have nice deals ( $1 Tacos, 2 Burgers for the price of one). The food is great and well worth of paying. On week nights the place is usually quiet but not abandoned. There is a patio upstairs with urban view. Keep up good job!

Local pub - great atmosphere, good beer, and reasonable bar food. This is a local spot that brings consistency and approachable to south Broadway. The top floor has a nice rooftop with a bar, and quick friendly service. I recommend Irish Rover for people looking for straightforward place to grab a bite and a drink in a great neighborhood in Denver.

Got kicked out for voicing my rights. Sober as a judge. Back bar staff and bouncers got power hungry and took my 10 paying friends with me. Maybe they were looking for a St. Patricks day scape-goat but I didnt deserve to be treated as such. I will never return to this bar and you should never patronize this bar. Cheers!!

They serve a delicious pint of Guinness. Friendly & fast bartenders. The food is great bar food that hits the spot. They have a great happy hour with food and food specials many nights of the week, even after happy hour. Parking can be tricky on Broadway but you can usually find a meter on the cross streets.

I went here for dinner and was blatantly ignored at the bar. It gave me the feeling that non-regulars were not welcome even though this is an enormous bar/restaraunt. Decent beer selection, but nothing else noteworthy. There are plenty of better spots within 1 block, I would suggest going to one of them

Ive been here a few times now and I havent been disappointed yet. The staff are really friendly and all have a good sense of humor and the DJ is one cool dude. The rooftop patio adds some good atmosphere and its a nice change of pace. I was a bit sad learning that the only cider they had was Magners.

This is, by far, my favorite bar in Denver. Staff is super friendly and promp, the drinks are priced well, and arent too strong or weak, food is even good. The best part is the rooftop, thats open year round, with an enclosed, heated area and fully stocked bar up top!

We were the only people in the bar. Asked about the music because it was super loud. The waiter turned the music but turned it up so we could not hear eachother. Usually we have a good experience but will likely choose another south broadway bar in the future.
