I along with my wife visited this place for the first time about a month ago. We just moved to Denver and I wanted to hit some staples that are well known. This is the place we chose to try after much debating. After seeing the place for what it is I was absolutely disgusted. This place needs a good clean up from what I can see. While at the smoking area outside, I took a peek around the corner and there was trash and food all over the ground near the rear entrance; it also smelt like sewage. The interior felt like an English pub so they nailed that. The beer was mediocre, had the happy hop pilsner and it was full of Acetaldehyde giving it a green apple flavor, basically the beer was premature and needed to condition longer. I did not order another beer for I was turned away by the first one. The servers seem overwhelmed, after we were sat, it took a while to get our drink orders in. I had some French onion soup to start which was the best take of this place for me. Shortly after ordering entrees it started to rain, coincidentally on the patio the roof leaks, there are white buckets that were brought out and put on the floor to collect the water. This is just tacky looking and obviously needs to be fixed. I wasnt satisfied on our choice and If I were you I would spend money somewhere else. Something about this place just isnt sitting right with me.

Weve been going here for about 25 years now. They brew their own beers, and no matter what your taste is, they have it! The fish and chips are obviously one of the best around. And Sunday nights are free jazz and Dixieland jazz nights. AMAZING!!! This music just livens up your entire year. The wait staff is always helpful and friendly, and by the late model expensive European cars that are always in the parking lot - it appears that those people are clearly world travelers and know whats great tasting. Plus, its locally owned which is always a plus in my book. Not only do I recommend, but a visit to Denver is not complete without going there again and again.

Very solid beer options, both their in-house brews and their guest taps. Massive spirits selection, focusing on whisky. Food is decent, kind of what youd expect at a gastropub 10-20 years ago, menu could use some updates or expansions admittedly. Overall food quality is solid, but not mind-blowing. Atmosphere can be very mellow and charming unless its completely packed, but the older rustic feel which is authentic due to the age of the pub is hard to beat. Expanding the brunch food/drink menu and specials would be a nice touch, as so many other brunch places in Denver tend to be quite crowded.

Previously been a huge fan of this brewery, however took friends for dinner there and was very unimpressed. It took 3 requests to get a copy of the hops menu, which was later snatched from the table when another table wanted to see it, despite the stack of hop menus kept at the entrance. Our food order was missing items, and the appetiser arrived after the entree. I am always impressed by a server who doesnt write down your order, unless they dont remember it! More work required to maintain the previously good reputation, and match up with the high quality of food.

We go here for work happy hours. Good beer, nice location, covered outdoor seating. I love their Big Ben Brown Ale, Man Beer, Yuel Fuel, and Dunkel. Went to college in WI and I am happy to report that their "Thank Cod its Friday" all you can eat fish & chips are absolutely delicious. The batter is just right. The only draw back is that the inside is insanely dark. Bowels of a ship dark. Your eyes obviously adjust, but if you drink inside and then come out youll wonder how many days have passed and your rods and cones will scream at you for a few seconds.

Besides being within range for my 50lb Schwinn Cruiser, this place is hands down the best pub in Denver. From the moment you walk in, you know that you are not in a typical tavern or sports bar. This place delivers from the award winning beer to the friendly service down to the true comfort food. I find myself being compelled like a moth to a flame once the temperatures drop and the snow starts falling. Sometimes you want a pint and a burger, sometimes you Need a pint and a burger. This is the place you will Need....

I shouldnt even tell you how good this place is, mostly because I love it so much, but seriously check it out! What better way to have a great night, than here? The history alone makes this Denver native proud! Its got all the bells and whistles! Great beer, craft brewed, sweet bar food and great atmosphere! I describe it and often say so, "Its like a pirate ship crash landed in Denver and you have to find its burried treasure!". I want to keep it secret, but I have to share the love, check this place out!

I frequent this establishment and often refer colleagues, friends, and out of town guests here as well. However, after last nights experience with the server Stacy; I dont know that I will be continuing this in the future. The food and beer are great but it is not worth putting up with the absolutely awful attitude of the waitstaff. Stacy should certainly consider changing her career path and I hope the management can recognize the coaching she needs if she remains on with them.

Bull & Bush is absolutely wonderful! Came here on a Friday night, and 2 out of 3 tables everyone had the Fish and Chips. My wife said they were great, and shes a serious fish snob. I had the Chicken Fried Chicken, and was in love. The atmosphere was excellent, a little bit noisier than I would have thought it to be, but still excellent. We are definitely coming here, and next time will be bringing my in-laws who are coming in two weeks.

I was charged for someone elses tab (a $177.60 charge) that I did not authorize or sign for. Now that Im trying to contact the office, they will not respond to my calls and no one can be of assistance to me. This charge has caused me to go into overdraft with my bank and Im extremely upset with this resturant. Id recommend never using a debit or credit card here, youll never get your money back for incorrect charges on their part.

This place has a lot of potential and every Sunday (during the summer I think) that play a movie out on their patio! I went after my flight on a Sunday night around 1030pm so Im sure the working and at the bar werent the pick of the litter, but still had an okay time. Pro tip, steer clear of a young woman drinking at the end of the bar trying to give you a drink of her beer after shes been sucking face with her boyfriend(?).

Bull & Bush has outstanding beer, good food, great music, movie nights, and an incredible amount of swag with their awesome logo. So many reasons to go that Im not sure why I am not in there every night. The food is greasy and not very subtle. But, hey, its a pub right? What are you expecting? Im sure they have reasons for not branching out but I wish they had a location downtown and close to good public transportation.
