On this visit I sampled the Miso Ramen. Overall, this is a solid bowl of ramen. The broth starts out strong with a rich texture and nice garlicky miso flavor. Spicy but not distracting. The noodles were wavy, medium thickness, and firm with a good bounce. The flavor of the noodle was good but nothing spectacular. The bowl was garnished with bean sprouts, scallions, spicy kimchi, a very soft-boiled egg and some ground pork. The bean sprouts were pre-cooked, softening them and making for a nice contrast to other ramen-ya that just dump in a handful of crunchy sprouts. The kimchi added a solid spice making for an interesting addition. The egg - when I was able to get a bite of it - was tasty but soft too the point that it basically disintegrated in the bowl. The ground pork had decent flavor but was far from my favorite protein choice. I would prefer a solid hunk of meat as opposed to a helping of ground meat any day. The ground pork, along with the disintegrated egg made for a sediment layer at the bottom of the bowl that distracted from the flavor of the broth toward the end. I don’t mind some sediment but the egg and ground pork were too much. The atmosphere of the shop seems pretty hip and modern. They were pretty busy during our Sunday night visit but the staff was on point. Ill be back to try some of their other options.

I had the Ramen Tonkatsu. My favorite ramen. This was really good. The broth was awesome. The pork belly? Super tender and saturated with taste. You gotta have this. Within the price range of any ramen anywhere. Portion is excellent. I think the amount of pork belly is admirable here. This alone deserve a four solid stars. Having walked in without a reservation at around eight pm on a Saturday night and being able to score a table and served asap was the reason why they deserve a solid five stars. Not to mention a very good server. I dont remember his name but I commented him on his bracelet. He said it was given by the Dalai lama? One experience bothered me. Think what you want but I was bothered by this: I asked for the Tacomiyaki. Theyre not in the menu but theyre above the kitchen counter. In big bold letters. I was told theyre there for decor ONLY. You dont need to put things up that you actually dont make. Because youre that good! Because someone like me who loves baby octopus or taco will order it. Will also think less of you later. Meh.

Finally got to try this spot! Warm and cozy interior with tables and a walk up communal setting area. I ordered the Pokemon tofu bento ($12.99) with a side of garlic broccoli ($4.99) and tofu with black bean ($2.99) to go. Bento Pokemon tofu was pretty damn good. It came with long, thin, lightly pan seared tofu, fluffy white rice and a side of sautéed veggies. The garlic broccoli is a cold side dish and sits in an extreme garlic sauce - its delicious but if youre not a garlic lover its not for you. The tofu with black bean side dish was the most surprising. Its little tofu squares (different texture from bento plate) were uniquely marinated but the beans were completely raw. It was good but interesting. My check for a dinner and side dish was $22.86 and it was cooked in 10 min. Osaka Ramen is best. Ill definitely be back!

Not recommending this place!!!! My husband is gluten free and has a serious acid reflux health problem so he brought his own food. He wants to have dinner with me and our children. My daughter was craving for ramen so we go here. This guy name COLT told my husband he have to leave since he has outside food. No sympathy at all, didnt ask why we brought his food but ask him to leave. So my husband left the restaurant. Me and my kids were treated so bad. I never experienced such treatment especially In front of my kids. I wont recommend this place to any family that has kids. I know its our fault not telling them about my husbands situation but I wish we were treated better. Train your staff about good customer service.

Its a nice restaurant, I appreciate the environment and its really doing most things well, except for one thing which for me overshadows most, the ramen. The broth was good, and made with care, however the key to good ramen is good noodles, and the key to good noodles is that thick, chewy but soft consistency and most importantly, freshness. This restaurant does not do that. It instead offers soy noodles, imported from California (Which theyll be sure to let you know), which honestly could have come out of a packet of Top Ramen for all the difference it made. Unfortunately, not everything can have "soy" and "California" slapped on it for instant gentrification.

Really nice place! The shop is actually underground which is cozy and cool, a nice hide it for a hot day. The interior is decorated with a pretty modern feel but still Japanese. They have a mostly open kitchen so you can watch your food being made which is cool. The food itself was really good. I got the tokatsu broth which comes with pork belly. It was delicious and finally theres a place where the pork belly looks more like pork belly and less like store bought bacon. Like these pieces were at least an inch thick! Their menu was kinda small tho so if you dont like ramen or bento boxes this might not be the place since they dont really have anything else.

Extraordinarily delicious bacon fried rice-- generous portion for a great price; great ramen though slightly expensive; delicious green/matcha tea; can get really loud in the evenings with the seating but they do offer takeout; dispensary located beside them so it smells as you walk down a flight of stairs and across a small area into the restaurant, but it doesnt smell in Osaka. Complementary parking available, or self-parking (parallel) also available, although spaces are difficult to find, usually a free blocks away. Great customer service and phenomenal food, just noisy in the evenings. Definitely will go back multiple times.

I went in with high expectations and left so, so disappointed. Having spent time in Japan and partaking in many a bowl of tonkotsu ramen with its locals, I must say that this is FAR from authentic and is quite frankly pretty pitiful. I mean the broth was flavorless, the noodles were like boiled rubber bands, and the vegetables werent even fresh. Everything tasted bland like it came out of a can. The location, selection of Japanese drinks, and ambiance are all the joint has going for it, and unfortunately the food was so sad that its not worth returning for. Save your time and money and just make some Top Ramen.

This is a very good ramen spot that I would definitely check out if you are looking for good asain cuisine in North Denver. The appitizers look really good but I have never ventured past the fries because they are so tasty. The beer selection is good as well with some local and domestic. I have tried to order hot sake but they do not carry any and as I have no experience with cold sake, I have stayed away. The ramen is comparable to other ramen spots, but still pretty good and I always have leftovers. Be prepared to struggle eating it your first time, its rather difficult

The rice with bacon & egg in it & the donuts are TO DIE FOR! So good that I even find myself craving them. The ramen broth itself is very very bland. I was disappointed by the lack of flavor & had to add a lot of soy sauce & Sriracha to flavor it. I would also prefer to have the seaweed as an option on the side & not immediately in the dish itself, but that is how they do it in Japan, so I have no problem taking it out of the dish. Otherwise a very cute place to have some nice, simple ramen. The staff is also really friendly. Cant wait to go back!
