I took my girlfriend here many times during the summer of 2017; we enjoyed the environment (casual, relaxed music), the service was quick and friendly, and the food was obviously delicious. The Miso and onion soup are great, the salads have a tasty dressing, the ramen was good - we tried all the ramen except for the Alarm Ramen which is too hot for my girlfriends sensitivity to spices - and our favorites were the Tempura Ramen, the House Special Ramen, and the brothless Tan-Tan Ramen. The sushi is also great quality (the Catepillar Roll was delicious!) The N.Y. steak teryaki is amazing and the soba noodles are definitely a must. Pad Thai and pineapple rice are tied for absolute delightfulness. Tonight we will try the hibachi chicken, looking forward to it. Also, the cocktails are refreshing. Ferry - the main waiter - is very friendly and we hope to come many more times in the future! -John and Raquel

Ive tried this place 3x since they opened. Each time, I decided to give them another chance. I know the staff tries hard to do well, but the food just isnt worth the time. Salads always watery with strange flavors and lettuce thats just mostly water. Miso soup never tastes right. In fairness, I havent tried the Ramen which is supposedly the specialty, but I cant eat Ramen for various reasons. Two dishes Ive tried have been "Thai" while one was a bento box. The flavors are always confused, typically greasy and just cant bring myself to go there again. Its a shame because this location is a constant revolving door for small restaurants. Rent is expensive (land lords rents are exorbitant) but would be a good location for decent food....right next to City staff and county justice center buildings.

We really enjoyed our time here. Staff was friendly and helpful when explaining the different options. Our food came out quickly and hot. In general I have a more medium-sized appetite and went with the kid-sized portion. It was still a generous quantity and I came out feeling full but not stuffed. I also opted for the ramen master soft-boiled egg ($1 extra) which I would totally get again! I would go back again. It was nice for something different and reasonably priced for a meal out for two. The restaurant is part of a parking garage and parking ended up being a $1 after everything was said and done. This was handy because the snow was definitely coming down and I didnt want to compete for old town parking in the weather!

Just went to the Ramen Master for the first time last night with my wife, and had a great experience. We showed up around 9:20 -- 10 minutes before closing -- and they we so accommodating and didnt hesitate to seat us and provide us with excellent service even after closing (despite us being "those people"). We recently returned from a 3-week trip to Japan, where we ate plenty of ramen, and I will say that the Ramen Master in on-par with the authentic ramen shops throughout Japan. I had the Alarm Ramen with pork and my wife had the Tonkotsu Ramen with chicken, and we were both extremely pleased. I just had the leftovers for lunch today, and it was even better the next day! We will certainly be returning in the future.

I just went back to Ramen Master today to try their new menu. I have tried all of their different phases and I have to say I miss their ramen bowls when they first opened. Today I tried their Chicken Pad Thai and frankly it tasted like a school cafeteria version. The noodles were cooked well and it was filling, that is the only positive thing I can say. The chicken was extremely dry (over cooked) and the peanut sauce was watery and had way too much sugar. I wont be going back and I doubt they will be open much longer. When a restaurant has to use 3 open signs along their windows for such a tiny space, they arent doing very well.

Beautiful decor, and friendly, fast service. I loved that they had anime on in the back of the restaurant. Good atmosphere. Sadly, the food wasnt as exciting. I was rather disappointed with my Tempura Ramen. Extremely salty, and the noodles tasted like theyd just used an instant Ramen package. I also felt that $12 was too much for a medium-sized noodle bowl at lunchtime. The tempura was delicious, but thats kind of hard to get wrong. They have eight types of ramen, but the bulk of the restaurants menu is other typical Japanese food and sushi, which Ill probably go for if I ever come back.

Very modern decor and feel with relaxing naturalistic accents. The owner is delightful, greeting customers and helping in the kitchen. The spicy house ramen was delicious, all flavors combined perfectly to compliment the others ( kudos to chef Michael )! The in-house bar offered my favorite beer 90 shilling ale as well as hot saki, and a small selection of wines. I did not get to try the sushi, but their offerings look terrific! If you want authentic wonderful flavors, dine here!

Went for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Food was okay- had house ramen, miso ramen, and two bentos. Ramen was okay, nothing special. Very bland tasting and the noodles seemed to have been one step above pre-packaged ramen. Youre better off going to whole foods and spending $10 on their ramen there. The bentos were very small with the amount of meat being less than filling. Service took a while, too. Wont be going back but it wasnt terrible either.

Love this place. We come here once a week for great ramen. Not sure about the new menu though. The old menu was so simple; choose your noodle, choose your broth, choose your protein, choose extras if you want, add any veggies yourself. I can understand having set dishes for people who dont know, but you should keep the a la carte menu and definitely the veggie bar. Good stuff though, give it a try!

Expensive. Not one of us liked our ramen, but apparently the chicken teriyaki and tempura were good. Portions were huge, which made us feel bad because we ended up throwing most of it away because none of us could bring ourselves to eat much of it. The "cheesecake" was dry and hard. The atmosphere was just ok, and the service was mediocre, at best. I was very disappointed.

It started a lot better about a year ago with the new management. Spicy was actually spicy and noodles were sized according to the broth. Now they seem to have a formula using the same noodles for all broths and slightly simpler ingredients. They also focus more on sushi and bento boxes. My favorite ramen is there tonkotsu which is pretty good.

Eat here only if you have a stomach of steel. I saw the food inspection report pointed by another customer on Yelp: there are 6 violations of critical items and food borne Illness Risk Factors in the list. Not mention several violations under different categories. I wish I can put the link here, unfortunately google review blocks it.

The only ramen focused restaurant in Fort Collins. The spicy ramen had some non traditional ingredients like corn and broccoli. The broth noodles and meat are of high quality and good flavor. Not allowing for soft boiled eggs was the only downside. Great drink specials. Not as good as Uncle, but also no wait so that was awesome!
