The food was somewhat ok, though the major downside to this restaurant is the service. Dont expect to get your order in a reasonable time, whether you order in the restaurant or deliver. I have NEVER received my order on time, heck I have never received my order in shorter than 15 minutes after the expected waiting period. The last time I ate inside the actual restaurant, my friend and I sat there for OVER AN HOUR waiting for our meal (it was just chicken and lamb curries). I only order delivery when I am so busy that I have absolutely no time to cook, and am not in the mood for chinese or pizza (that is all there is here for delivery), otherwise I would NEVER order from them. They have been on average 20 to 30 min late for every order when ordering delivery. Aside from this, their food is so/so (overpriced even for an Indian place at dinner), their prices are higher than even other little indias around the area (at least by 2 to 3 bucks a dish). The other little indias typically serve some type of somewhat substantial appetizer(some even serve a punjabi samosa per person), or throw a deal into meals per price interval. This one however does not. It overcharges, cuts corners wherever it can, provides crappy service, and also, last but not least, mediocre food. Meats in everything but the curry (even then only the chicken curry is an exception) are DRY AS HELL (I have NEVER had drier meat anywhere - ever, and I am from Greece). Other times, they are at a texture that makes me question whether it was even cooked enough. I dont believe people should be supporting a place like this, when I am sure there are other indian food businesses who can do much better.

Wow! They lost their buffet because of health code violations....not good. When we got there we were quite shocked it was gone. However, they were up front, honest and very apologetic so we decided to stay for lunch. Everything is off the menu, but they offered a sampler dish which we both ordered to make it more like having the buffet. This sample dish was more expensive than the regular meals. Two of the four dishes were really awful and not worth eating and the portions were very small. I havent had samosas in a long time and, unfortunately, we didnt enjoy the ones that came with our meals. The soup we started the meal with was strangely spiced (flavors werent well balanced). The butter chicken was better than it had ever been on the buffet when we fell in love with it, but it wasnt enough to make up for all the bad flavors, the ridiculously small portions of food on the sampler plate and the nonexistent service we received (our server started out great and then just disappeared). The main dishes everyone else was ordering were huge in comparison. I will admit, though, that the food was so bad....its probably a good thing that we didnt get large portions. We wouldve thrown it out anyway. We obviously wont be back. Due to the emptiness of the restaurant at peak lunch time....Im pretty sure we are not the only ones who feel this way. Definitely bummed!! Lost two Indian Restaurants in one year.

Walking into this restaurant, one is greeted with many "Best in Denver - Indian Food" awards. An insult to Indian cuisine, the food was so grossly un-marinated that it might as well have been served just plain boiled/steamed. We made the mistake of ordering food "spicy" - that spicy it was, with just a bag of pepper powder mixed in with separately boiled chicken/veggies. We started off what is my favorite, Tandoori chicken. While the chicken was cooked just right in temperament, it was soft and broke off just right to touch, it was completely devoid of taste and marination. It felt like the chicken was boiled first, and then mixed with some spices and, believe-it-or-not, tomato ketchup, just prior to serving. This dish which is intended to light-up your taste-buds to just the right extent and prepare you to the food ahead, was just outright sweet as candy!! The rest of the food was no better. Same boiled chicken, thrown into some pepper powder and not-properly-cooked tomatoes and mixed just prior to serving. The saving grace was the Malai Kofta. Seriously, the first time I found a vegetarian dish was better than a non-veg, the carnivore that I am.

Ive never had an experience THIS bad at a restaurant. I understand it was the weekend of Comic Con and Pride, but that doesnt excuse how they ignored the entire restaurant. We came in for lunch and were totally ignored, along with the people in the tables around us. I finally got up to find our waitress and she was sitting at the bar on her phone. The other waitress was lounging around with her headphones on. I had to tell them to see to the table next to us because they hadnt even gotten water yet and had been seated for 15-20 minutes. I saw another table wait for the lazy waitress to finally pick up their tab for thirty minutes. Never got any drinks, never got a menu, and we were ignored the entire time. Stay the hell away from this place-- they didnt care at all, and whoever was in the restaurant at the time would say the same. To quote the patrons we were seated by, "This was a huge mistake". I wish I could get my money back.

I and my wife tried the buffet at LI, Champa st, on a Sunday afternoon. Comparing this experience with that at other Indian restaurants in Denver, buffet at LI was the worst. Starting with the waiter, the female was a racist, as she was ignoring Indian diners and had her preferences towards the locals. Talking about food, some of the dishes were cold and the staff was not bothered to replenish the food items promptly. When asked to refill a food item (a salad dish) we were told that they dont have any more of it. The rice was dry and unchewable, the tandoori chicken was tasteless, naan was cold and rubbery, awful carrot pudding (Gajar ka halwa), overcooked Dal Makhani and mix vegetable korma, the onion pakoda was cold and bland. The butter chicken , potato and peas subji, rice kheer and mango custard were only edible items. Overall this buffet is not value for money. The ambience was just okay.

My girlfriend and i love Indian food. We often make it ourselves, but always appreciate a good restaurant. We had a long day and ordered some food from here, never having anything from them before. The food was identified to take 20-30 minutes to arrive, so a bit fast for Indian but hey not complaining. 30 Min rolls around not a peep, 45 minutes nothing, 1 hour nothing, 11/2 hours get a call saying they are backed up and really rushing, 2hours shows up cold... While after a round in the microwave it tasted all right i wont be trying this place again. @ The Owner: I ordered from grub hub on the 20th at 8:20PM with delivery at 1030PM. I got a call at 10PM saying my order was almost done cooking and the driver would leave soon, and the call when he got to my house.

Our recent trip to Denver was fantastic, except for dinner that we had at this establishment. Only if we had known that we were embarking on gastronomic nightmare that would also include wretched service, we could have saved ourself from this misery. When you spend around $30 per person, you expect not to come out of restaurant with empty stomach and sour taste buds. Our food was brought to us after 40 minutes delay under the pretext that we would be served hot food, but man, we couldnt have been more wrong. The naan bread was rubbery, curries were stale, and icing on cake was unappetizing $3 serving of pickle, which is complementary at most of Indian restaurants. The highlight of dinner was indeed refreshing water served in copper glasses!
