Im disappointed in the service. Walked in and nobody was there to greet us and no sign to say "wait to be seated" we just stood there while I saw employees everywhere but nobody said hi and give us a minute. No Pepsi products....kinda suck all these flavors of drinks and mountain dew or Pepsi aint on this menu. The worst part about the drinks, 5.38 for 2 sodas which was extremely high for soda. We got here just after 3 didnt leave till almost 4:30. If you look at how "busy" it usually is, its not usually busy during this time but they did have a pretty healthy flow of people during this time but it wasnt an excuse to have slow service. There was one group who walked out because there were no bowls on the line to get your bowl of food ready. Boyfriend stood up there waiting for these bowls at least 5 minutes. Were here long enough already, cmon...like for real usually at a restaurant for about 45, this was sad and it wasnt the cooks fault who did such an awesome job during this "rush" I did tip them. Not the waitress though, I normally do but like I said, my table kept getting put on the back burner. Needed more soda, had to stop eating till I did on my first plate. Couldnt wash nothing down. The cooks did more work then this waitress did for us! Waited at least 10 minutes to get the check, then Im irritated cause I dont have enough cash and have to use my card which means I have to wait for this lady to come back and take my card to swipe it, which takes awhile! I want nothing more then to leave! And this lady is taking forever! Ugh. The food was ok enough. I really loved the previous Mongolian grill I had gone to, it was awesome but I know this one here could handle more people for sure. Like I said, the cooks did an awesome job! They had the rush to deal with as we were at the back of a decently long line twice first time took like 12 minutes to get through, which wasnt bad considering the were at least 10 of us in line. But the waitress...well its a buffet, you get your own food unless you want appetizers or desserts, they just bring you soda and your check, so....why so slow? There were 3 at least there and the manager was helping out some so why the hold up? It really wasnt THAT busy.

First off, the server we had was very attentive. But all he was really responsible for was bringing drinks. The rest of the meal was on us. The premise of this restaurant is to go up to a buffet style food bar and put raw foods in a bowl, cover it in your choice of sauce and then take it the cook who dumps the bowl on a flat top cooker and flips it around for a few minutes while it cooks. Then, using the same utensils that hes been using for ALL the meals on the cook top, he scoops your meal into a plate and you return to your seat. Now, Im not too concerned with the raw food aspect, but it is present. Raw chicken starts off the food selection, lined up next to raw beef and raw pork. Then came the raw sea food. Granted, the heat does cook off most of the badies, but its still a little strange. Next comes the cost. It is not cheap. You would think it would be a little cheaper seeing you are going up and all but cooking the meal yourself. For lunch, mind you, my family of three spent $43 bucks with just iced tea for a side beverage and no appetizers or deserts. The food was OK. Not bad - not outstanding, but just OK. The check came with the usual suggested 18% and 20% tip amounts already calculated. For fetching my Iced Tea? All in all, not a good idea in my book. Perhaps they reduced the price of their lunch plate a couple bucks, and seeing youre already nearly serving yourself, why not just put a drink station next to the food and eliminate the need to ask for a tip.

Typical Mongolian Grill establishment. I ordered some appetizers, it was obvious these were frozen and didnt taste all that great. The sauce was tasty, but the small bowl was barely filled. I left over half the appetizer and the waitress never asked me if something was wrong. The meat was frozen in the traditional way. The help team seemed to be "tending" the meat station. The veggies were fresh enough. Then the sauces table. It was a mess. And it wasnt obvious that one should dump the sauce in the bowl on top of the meat and veggies. I am used to having a separate bowl for the sauce. The chefs simply dumped the single bowl on the scolding hot circle stone stove and without much fanfare proceeded to cook my meal well. The food was hot, served quickly and because I had guessed at the secret 5 ladles of sauce combo - just spicy enough and tangy enough. Lastly, the place has the Coke Freestyle. The waitress brings the drink, which sort of takes the fun out of the Freestyle experience. Overall- very average experience.

Used to come to this location on a weekly basis, and the food was great, and consistent servers with great personalities! Then gradually have seen a decline in this location. Since the new manager has taken over seems to have a lot of turnover in servers, as well as the sanitary concerns about the food, and food prep. Recently was there and asked the manager to cook my shrimp in my dish more, and when he asked if it was done and I requested it be cooked more due to the shrimp being white; and still raw. He gave me somewhat of an attitude as if I was "dumb" on what cooked shrimp was. This last trip may be my husband and my last visit, we both feel sick after our visit and dont feel confident about how our food was cooked.

Please, dont claim to be "allergy free" if youre not. Lady in front of me was "deathly allergic" to something, so of course they had to stop everything and Scotch Brite the communal grill. Those poor dudes have to do this all the time, and it looks pretty labor-intensive. So anyway, I decided to at least make idle chit chat, and as I peered at her "allergy free" meal, there was chicken, beef, sausage and seafood and peanut sauce on everything... So I casually asked her what her severe allergy was to, and I got "WELL . I... JUST...MIND YOUR OWN @#$$*€ BUSINESS!!" in reply. People like her should not dine out at all if they are that anal about the griddle. Was a great experience, except for my issues with Ms. Douche.

This Mongolian grill is part of a franchise chain, but the experience is conceptually appealing. The buffet-style, build-your-own Mongolian plate is a little unsettling to some (raw meats and ladles sort of make you think of salmonella and E. coli!), but the chefs are fun and the ambiance is entertaining. The smores dessert looks like fun (a little flame is provided for you to roast marshmallows on spigots), but we didnt try it. I enjoyed a nice meal with excellent company. And ultimately, its not where, but who youre with that truly matters.

Avoid during the holidays to save money. I went for my anniversary, which is also st Patricks day. They charge an extra dollar during holidays, even though it wasnt busy. Drinks were also not included in the all you can eat dinner meal which I thought was crooked. I loved the food, I went to one in Oklahoma and the chefs did a great job there with tricks and no extra charges in fine print. Oklahoma was straight forward. This one in colorado wanted to hide all the extra charges during ordering. Not happy about it, I love huhot, but not this one.
