Standing out in an area loaded with bar food Bar food and a bit more Bar food...... high rise stands out with some great in house baked bread, treats, soups and even dog treat. Some interesting staff behind the line that can rub off on you, I am in particular speaking about who seems to be the chef(always wearing a black chef coat) who is always rushing around but having a good time and joking with the rest of the staff. You have to try the Spicy Tuna with one of their award winning cupcakes or one of the breakfast sandwichs with gruyere. Its only a matter of time until this place becomes a neighborhood favorite if it already hasnt.

This was my first viist to Hi*Rise. I found the location easly; located about two blocks from Coors stadium. The Denver TasteCasting team, which consisted of 12 members, got to try eight - lunch entrees. I loved the new taste, and what they can do with a sandwich on fresh (2 hour) bread, was remarkably tasty! I recommend that you try the palate-pleasing food, of high-quality, very fresh, an over all delight. So, go on down to Hi*Rise and tell them you were referred by Kyle (Denver TasteCasting - captain) and ask for the Specail. The food is relatively tasty, but the portions are meager at best, and for the price I would expect to have leftovers. Ive tried several times too, this isnt a one off. My recommendation if youre going to go, get a bagel and cream cheese. Hard to screw up the portions on that. The decor is rad though and the people are nice. Its just a shame that an $8 sandwich here leaves you hungry.

Ive been going here for over a year now. Havent had a bad meal yet! This morning I tried their lox for the 1st time... oh my!!!! Great perfect amount of smokey flavor on the lox, and the cream cheese is spot on. Get the #2 lox with the perfect combo of tomato and onions to add to the flavor

This venue deserves your business, if you like good coffee or a decent working-class breakfast. Staff is laid-back yet polite and attentive. Price is right. Wi-Fi...tunes...company...picture windows and a clean, well-lighted place....dont know who could but I wouldnt ask for more...

Every Sunday before I have to go work brunch at another restaurant, my boyfriend and I will swing by for breakfast sandwiches. Not a fan of Novo coffee, wish they carried Kaladis, but the staff is great, always hustling, always friendly, and weve never eaten anything there we didnt love.

Service is reliably slow and inattentive. It took ten minutes to toast and slice a plain bagel, and it took me ten minutes to go back and retrieve the cream cheese they forgot. The cream cheese was delicious, but the bagel was a bit smashed and lumpy. The chai is chai from concentrate.

Quick service, huge meals. I ordered a bacon egg cheese biscuit along with a plain cream cheese bagel. I could have been full after eating one or the other, but I ate both because they were great. They put on plenty of cream cheese. Love it

Nice atmosphere, right downtown, great espresso. Bagels are delish. Other food seemed a bit overpriced so I stayed simple. The people are really cool too. Great little place over all. I had a good experience with this place.

Great bagel sandwiches. Get the Dougie and substitute a green chili bagel. This place also has amazing biscuits and gravy. If you go at 9 am or later on the weekend, be prepared to run into lots of hungover frat douches.

They burnt my sandwich! Since I got it to go, i didnt realize until I was back at the office and I wasnt about to go back, so I just had to subsist on snack foods. They were also very slow.

This is the slowest place in Denver. I had to stop coming because I would have 20 mins to spare before work and I couldnt get a bagel toasted with cream cheese without being late.

This is a neighborhood gem. Great coffee (Novo) and the breakfasts rock. I visit alot for takeaway loaves of bread. Better to get here early though, the line can get long.
