My husband and I met for dinner bringing a guest with us. Two of us ordered the beef yeeros. The meat was terribly tough and gristly. I even discreetly spat out 4 of the pieces of meat. When the waitress came and asked if wed like doggy bags, I told her about the problem. My guest expressed a similar experience. The waitress said " Oh, Im sorry" as she removed our plates. We assumed she would compensate us in some way, perhaps a free drink or dessert or something. She did not, nor did she reduce our tab or even bring a manager over to speak with us. She could even see that our dinners were not eaten and that Id left the bad meat that Id tried to chew, on my plate. I chose not to deal with the issue any further that evening, thinking I would not handle the matter in front of a guest. I was unable to call the next day but did so, the day after. When I spoke with the manager he was defensive and and verbally abusive to me, saying "Well if your dinner was so terrible why didnt you say anything that night but instead waited 2 days? I tried to explain my reasons to him but he actually started yelling at me and although I tried to ask him several times if I could speak, he did not allow me to do so. He kept saying "what do you want me to do, give you free meals or something? I said no, that I only wanted him to know about it and speak to his waitress about how to handle situations like this in the future. He continued to be very nasty and said "I already talk to my people all the time. You should have talked to me. As this manager was clearly not interested in hearing about my experience and had no intention of trying to find a solution, Ichoe to close the conversation telling him that his attitude was so bad, we would not be back. Its too bad because its a nice neighborhood place where weve had good experiences in the past!

Man oh man was this place bad! I took a friend her for a birthday lunch! Horrible choice!! * Our server was not only sloppy and dirty, but he was also very rude as soon as he approached our table. We sat on the patio because it was a beautiful day out, and he was angry with us because he wanted to be inside with the a/c. My friend was ready to leave right then and there. But I said we should stay..big mistake. *We both had bloody marys and they were the worst I have ever had. *When we asked questions about the menu items he seemed more and more annoyed with us (all while rubbing his large belly). When our food came, he might as well have threw it from across the patio. *As if the experience wasnt bad enough at that point..it got much worse. My friends Ahi Tuna sandwich was horrible..they served her rotten tuna. I told her to return it. It was replaced by a chicken sandwich which she didnt even bother to eat. *I ordered a chicken salad that was bland in flavor and didnt look very appetizing. I became sick after eating the salad..very bad stomach pains! DO NOT EAT HERE. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

We come here often, and Luke, the bartender is a sweetheart. We love the owners (Greek) and the staff. The food is amazing. While we usually just head to the bar and dine off of the happy hour menu, Wednesday nights we go for their prime rib night and do a split plate (their prime rib is done perfectly every time). Chainbreaker and Man Beer always on tap now, and I have to say, the bartenders know how to make a good martini as well. Weve also made it in one Saturday for their pig roast - delicious! Their HH is daily from 5-10pm. I recommend the lamb lollipops (you get 3, sometimes they are huge, sometimes they are tiny, but they are so flavorful). And a recent addition to their dessert menu (well its been around for about 6 months) is their baklava. Drizzled with honey and served with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream. Perfect end to a perfect meal of delicious food, delicious drinks and great service. It seems like it has a more middle aged crowd, mostly locals. My #2 favorite neighborhood haunt.

Bland food if youre under 75. I rarely give a bad review for anything, but drastic times call for drastic measures... My girlfriend and I each ordered a hot tea, and after finishing them we were brought two more, but they used the SAME tea bag. Is this common or acceptable? Maybe I just grew up differently, I dont know. Either way, the "fresh" teas tasted like hot water with a hint of herb (Im pretty sure this is standard here, not the waiter being lazy). The omelettes we ordered were very dry and bland. The portions were also very small, especially considering the $8.99 price tag. Service was a bit slow, and we waited on the food for quite a while. I think Id rate it better if I were a senior citizen, as they tend to prefer bland, tasteless food for some reason. Maybe they have a good early bird special, and thats what keeps them in biz. Sorry Citron Bistro, but maybe this fair and honest review will save another young couple from walking into an ambush unprepared.

This was my 2nd time here and the first with my husband accompanying me. We stopped in for lunch on Sunday 7/2/17 around 1-1:30 in the afternoon. My husband had the Lamb sliders which were delicious, and I got the soup and Caesar salad. The waitress seemed hurried throughout, and informed us that she was leaving and asked if she could bring the bill. We said that would be okay. My food was less than satisfactory, as the potato soup was very salty and the ceasar dressing was super fishy! I did inform the waitress when she asked if we liked our food, her response was "oooh, well I just tried the soup and maybe Im weird but thats the way I like it. " She left for the day after that. No offer to bring something else or anything. So, I guess I wont be back since the service wasnt very good at all. Kind of disappointing.

DO NOT EVER GO HERE!! Not only is your first impression walking through the door terrible with the worst welcome ever from the sour faced wrinkly dress hostess, but you can only get happy hour prices if you sit at the bar or some awkward tiny table by the creepy fireplace, even though youd spend MORE money actually dinning in the dinning area! And those moscow mules? try moscow drools - the ginger beer was subbed out with soda water, guess thats how they make up for the happy hour pricing...and then dont even try to pay your bill and leave because you arent happy with the service or product...the owner/manager will call you a liar! So if you enjoy being talked down to, disgusting drinks, and being called a liar than this place is for you! But if you dont I would suggest Wendys next door!

A Hidden Gem for sure: Just discovered this lovely place at lunch! It is in a sort of off beat location near Hampden and Yosemite east of I-25. Pretty brick exterior, heavy old world doors, outdoor eating area encircled a low wrought iron fence plus umbrellas and a fountain too. Inside has a cozy atmosphere even though it is rather large. Big fireplace and chairs, wood and brick, bright back bar well stocked... Feels like visiting the wealthy older aunt or uncle you never knew you had at their European mountain chalet. The food was fresh and portions were generous. The gyro was well seasoned and the fries perfectly crisp. My salad was expertly dressed and tasty with good proportions of all the ingredients. Friendly fast service. I look forward to trying their brunch.
