I wish I could put no stars. I ordered off grubhub which had decent reviews...I should have looked on google. This place was horrible. I was actually happy at first because the delivery was super quick. First off, when the driver got to my apartment, he called me and told me to come to the parking lot to pick up my food! I paid $4.00 plus tip for delivery. This may sound petty to some but when youve been working all day and want to just relax and then order food so you dont have to cook or do ANYTHING and pay for delivery, I expect it to be delivered to me. The chicken on both mine and my boyfriends meals was so soggy and neither had any flavor. My boyfriends even asked what spice level he wanted, he chose medium and you wouldnt even know the meal was supposed to have spice! We ordered fried rice but we got sticky white rice with soy sauce or something on it. Again, no flavor. Hot and sour soup and egg drop soup tasted like dirty water, with...you guessed it...NO FLAVOR. We called grubhub and the delivery driver is on his way to come get this food cause I would much rather use my $40 for something that is actually edible. Do not order or eat here. You will regret it along with the money you will lose.

How in the world did this place get even 2 stars?!?! Ate at this place for the first time yesterday and almost got sick. Chicken-fried rice is a pretty standard Asian meal that you cant mess up--but boy did they mess it up. The chicken was incredibly poor quality--very chewy and way too much fat and impossible to chew without having a napkin nearby. Not to mention I made the mistake of adding a little bit of shrimp. The shrimp tasted like soap and was very soft/mushy like it had soaked in water ALL Day! Not strong & "springy" like quality shrimp. Food quality: -5 stars. Price: +4 stars--but you get what you pay for. Next time you go to a place that charges $5/$6 for chicken fried rice meal and $1 for 3 shrimps, you should question the quality of food being offering for such a low price. It might make you sick! Needless to say it was a horrific Asian meal experience and I will NEVER go back! Seriously, this place needs to be closed down. On a more humorous note, opened fortune cookie with no fortune in it. Either thats very bad luck or they were very lazy to put in LOL

It makes me sad to write this review because Ive loved South Garden for years. I enjoy their food, but I received some of the worst customer service Ive ever had at the DTC location. When we ate here our waitress seemed so put out by our business. She was so short tempered and rude to the point where I asked my boyfriend if he had done or said something to upset her while I was in the restroom. That was my first bad experience. The second was when I called to place an order and the person who answered was equally as rude. The final straw was when I went to their restaurant tonight and asked to see a menu. The woman didnt make eye contact with my because she was shouting across the restaurant at another co-worker. She then began shaking the menu in my face rather then handing it to me. I was so irritated that I said something to her and she didnt even apologize, so I walked out. I will not be going back, so this one location drove away a regular.

My friend took me here for dinner, and Ive gotta say, I really like this place! It was very clean, and since we went an hour before closing, seating was not an issue. We ordered the Family Dinner and walnut shrimp, and it all tasted great! Their wontons were the highlight of the pupu platter, and I was even a fan of their hot & sour soup (even though I dont really like it). My friend really liked the mushu pork, and their sesame chicken was delicious. Perhaps one of the biggest highlights is that they serve tamarind sauce instead of sweet & sour sauce, which you dont really find at other Chinese restaurants. Id definitely like to go back to try their other dishes. Theyre prices are in line with most Chinese restaurants ($10.99-$14.99 per entree), so the bill can stack up, but the amount of food you get is worth what you pay.

This is the first time I have NOT kept leftovers from a Chinese restaurant. The Kung Pao was tasteless and mainly consisted of water chestnuts but little else. I also had a Lo Mein dish. The chicken was of decent quality but again it was tasteless. The scallion pancakes werent bad, but I think the dipping sauce was the only thing that saved them. I will not return to this restaurant. While nothing about the meal was terrible, nothing was memorable either. There are plenty of alternatives in Denver at the same price (ie: Imperial and Thai Basil are exceptional), and even in this neighborhood (Hoongs & Susi Wu).

This place was kind of expensive and didnt seem to have quality food. The food was actually pretty bad but maybe we just caught them on a bad day. When we sat down we saw their specials listed on under their glass tables. No prices were listed so we just assumed that it was going to be cheap. That was our mistake for not asking plus the food was cold and greasy. I wont be surprised if South Garden just reheats old food . Not a good experience. Especially with a date.

Food is good, if not special. Delivery is quick and pleasant. Price is average. Not a place I would eat in at, but great for home delivery! In fact, its the only delivery place in the area we trust for consistency of quality and taste. I recommend the Fried Dumplings (potstickers with ginger sauce) for appetizers, and how about one of the Chefs Specials for main: General Taos Chicken, and Orange Crispy Beef or Chicken are all excellent! Worth checking out the online menu.

Very tasty and consistent food. Prices are decent, and the service is friendly. We go around once a month and the wait staff knows us. Huge menu with lots of choices, including a few gluten-free options. They do a brisk takeout business, but dining in is enjoyable as well. Id give five stars, but the bathrooms really need to be remodeled, and sometimes the "upper" area of the dining rooms is dark and closed off. So not really inviting.

I wanted to love this place but just couldnt. The people working there are very nice and friendly but the food Ive tried was lacking flavor. I have ordered Wonton soup and Hot and Sour soup from about 7 different Chinese places around me and this one is one of the worst for flavor. Hope they can reassess their menu and improve upon the flavor quality of their food.

Weve ordered from here since we moved in up the street, over 2 years ago & have tried many different items, all of which were superb! We also took my dad here for his birthday thats on Xmas day, a hard day to find open places! The staff have always been great with us! Their in-house delivery drivers have always been prompt, found our place with no problem.
