Youd think Denver would be the last place to expect good Thai food. Chada Thai delightfully subverts that expectation. The menu is varied but also curated, so you arent choosing from twenty different noodle dishes. Staff (during my visit, the chef/owners daughter as I understood) are happy to make recommendations, and the recommendations they make should be taken to heart. I ended up with the Pad Thai, hot. They offer mild, medium, hot, and Thai hot, and in retrospective I could easily have done Thai hot.Of course, if you want it hotter, you can always ask for their tray of spices and chilies. My usual at US Thai is a medium, for reference... The Pad Thai was sweet, the noodles were springy and perfectly cooked, the whole dish came together very nicely. It was inoffensive, the kind of Pad Thai even my stepfather would enjoy. We also had some dumplings with a mincemeat which were good, though a bit on the meaty side for me. Im planning on visiting Chada Thai again. Its a super cozy spot with a huge window, somewhat intimate, but overall very friendly and hospitable. Recommended!

I used to LOVE this restaurant. Over the last couple years, the authenticity has diminished, while the portion size has shrunk and the prices have risen. This will be the last time I drive across town for this food, as other reviewers have said, its on par with Thai Monkey Club. I ordered some of my usual favorites - the spice level was inconsistent amongst the dishes, the fresh taste was gone and the protein amounts were stingy. I used the menu linked to their Google business profile, because the website is under construction with no menu. When I got home with the wrong food and called to verify, I was told multiple times that I was wrong, until the woman put me on hold, checked with the cook, and admitted that they have changed the recipe. I dont understand how you take the protein out of a dish, not inform your staff and still charge the same amount. Maybe they needed to cut costs to pay for their nice renovation or rising rent in an expensive neighborhood, but its too bad. It feels like what LA has done to authentic Thai food.

I live a block away from Chada Thai and want so badly to enjoy it. However, I have been multiple times now and despite them having quite tasty food, I have been less than impressed with the service. On my last visit, for example, I ordered takeout and arrived 5 minutes after the time it was quoted to be ready at -- the order (I will say it was for 6 entrees if that makes a difference) was not ready and I ended up waiting just short of an hour for the order to be completed. There was little regard from the staff for this which I found surprising. I agree that they have delicious food but the repeatedly sub-par service is what keeps me from being a regular and recommending Chada Thai to others. Maybe try it out when its less busy?

The customer service there is terrible. I ordered a curry dish and I could not eat it, I disliked the flavor altogether. When I told the server she offered to cook a second dish for me. When I received the second dish, the owner came to our table to inform us that we still had to pay for the dish they had taken back "because she could not sell it to anyone else". We could not believe it, I paid for the new dish and the one I disliked and left. Very unfair and uncomfortable experience.

Loved the Pad Thai dish and the Curry Bombs appetizer. This place had wonderful service and tasty food. We sat out on the patio which was a relaxing ambiance and a wonderful space. My husband had the Pad Kee Mao which we also both loved. Ive been trying to find a great, close Thai place since moving to Denver in 2013 and I ve found it! We certainly will be back soon!

The owner is so nice! She told us all about Thai people, food and traveling around the country. I cant wait to go! The food is delicious and authentic. I personally say, J Star off Federal is the best tasting Thai resturant, but Chada Thai is a very close second. Overall expierence tho, makes it the best Thai resturant in Denver! Just go! Foods great!

We left after a hour of waiting for our food. This is on a Sunday night when hardly anyone was there. Apparently, they were busy because of their takeout and deliveries but we werent told that. When they told us that our food was coming out people that had showed up 15 to 20 minutes after us started getting food. That was when we decided to leave.

This is great Thai food. Ive had a bunch of their different dishes and each of them is great! My favorites are the pad see ew and the panang curry. The owner is so great and you should talk the regional influences of each plate and how she mixes them in her style. I come back here all the time! And the papaya salad! Try the papaya salad!

It got such glowing reviews so we thought wed check it out. Honestly, it was fine but Im not sure what the fuss is about. It was a little cramped and Im not sure they wanted our larger party in the place, but they managed. The food was all just fine but nothing special. There are many other Thai restaurants Id choose over this one.

Ordered the Thai Dumplings for an appetizer and Pad Thai for entree. For the price, this Thai restaurant serves up very good food. As good, if not better, than Thai Monkey Club and others in Denver. It didnt blow me away, but was very enjoyable spot for a quick date night. I will be back soon to try the curry.

The quality of the food was not bad and the presentation was fine, but we were disappointed by the size of the portions relative to the price. We felt robbed by the discrepancy between the two. The prices looked fair initially, but when the dishes came out, we then understood why there were few customers.

The worst pad thai that Denver has to offer. I cant speak for the other choices on the menu. But, the person I was with didnt have any better opinion of their dish either. The place was dirty, the service lousy, the portions small and its over priced.

Small portions, over priced ($14 for Pad Thai with "extra shrimp"...ended up with a total of three little shrimps and two tiny pieces of chicken), and the meat was dry. Skip this place. Your money is better spent at almost any other Asian restaurant.

The fried rice is full of vibrant veggies, blistered tomatoes and fresh cucumbers. The spice level is always spot on (I get medium). Its the best Ive had in Denver. Affordable lunch. Great service. Go.

Good level of spice- we like spicy food and the Thai hot was perfect, not the spiciest weve ever had though. Great drink selection. Service was a bit slow but we were there late, about 9pm.

Wonderful experience for dinner! We had the Pad Thai and the Pad See Ew, both of which were excellent. The staff was nice and attentive, and the food was well prepared. Highly recommended!

Asian owner &/or mgr. very distant and indifferent. Server was condescending and rude. Food was decent but there are several others nearby with better food and much better attitudes.
