the tavern group has become the worst type of neighbor: taking their customers for granted and overcharging for very very average pub grub. we came here for a quick dinner, told the staff we had only an hour. it took 35 minutes to get a drink, 45 minutes to be told that our food was "on the way" (when we also said we might have to take it to go) and another 15 to finally see it. and, of course, it was cold. no apology. and they charge extra if you want ice in your tequila. and im not kidding. avoid this dump. they dont even have a good pilsner on tap; its all the garbage american beers. homegrown tap and dough up the block is far more fun, has far friendlier service and far better food.

Came here Halloween night. I understand it was busy, the waiter himself did a decent job, the food wasnt too terribly overpriced.. it was tasty enough.. But I have one major problem. Upon sitting our waiter told us it was still happy hour. I asked for a dark beer, he suggested a local one, we got two of them. A third was ordered during dinner. When the bill came, those beers were $10 each. Yes, $30 for three bottles of dark beer. Its a good thing my partner didnt tell me till later that night, I would have had words for the establishment. Instead Im happy to post about it here. Apparently, happy hour means "were happy to gouge you heavily for drinks"

I usually dont write reviews, but felt this terrible experience is necessary to share. My date and I had a terrible experience here. There was a man at the bar making bird/animal noises all night long. The wait staff was eggin him on, encouraging the noises as the night progressed on. My date felt very uncomfortable by this creepy mans behavior, and so did I after she kept pointing it out. Its very unprofessional for a business to allow creeps like this into a bar and promote his childish behavior. DO NOT TAKE YOUR DATE HERE GENTLEMAN. Go to a different Tavern!

My husband and I just moved to the area and were wanting to grab a quick drink. We were harassed by drunk young men who even followed us out after we decided to leave. I am not sure why we were targets but I regret going there and we did not do anything to provoke these people. Our business will be seen anywhere else on Gaylord street. Beware!!! One positive is the bartenders were great and we enjoyed our time until the harassing began but will never return.

Ive patron WP Tavern a handful of times, not a singe complaint yet. Recently I arrived ten minutes before the late night menu started after having to make a quick run. Nevertheless my bartender granted me options to the main menu. After returning to the WP Tavern my order was served within minutes. Next time you are there order the Marvelous Marv protein pack - Bison chili, Bison burger and sweet potato fries.

Tavern Wash Park came to the rescue for a small group of my friends after a day of fishing and a long drive. I got the fish and chips and a seasonal beer and couldnt have been happier, especially after the waitress brought me 2 complementary dill pickles that didnt even come with my meal. The atmosphere supports sports fans inside, and a meal with friends on one of the two patios!

Average food. Overpriced drinks. Friendly service. Abysmal parking. Forget even trying to go there if youre disabled because there are no disabled spots, as its all street parking. So youll be parking several blocks away. Also the entry is stairs, so not good for those with mobility issues who require wheelchairs, walkers, canes, or have difficulty with stairs.

The food here is amazing. Their fish and chips have been poking my cravings portion of my brain for days now. The place is clean, all of our food was great, and the location was easy to walk too. The service was meh, but i think it was a singular incident. Im definitely looking forward to returning to this restaurant.

The bartender there... he was a excellent gentleman that remembered all my drinks and things I spoke of. I am an introvert, but he remembered everything I said. Also several waitresses were keen on remembering who I was and my likes. They kept me coming back besides the way over priced food.

I really liked this place. The drinks and the food are reasonably priced and it is just a fun place to hang out with friends. The atmosphere is very relaxed. The staff and most of the patrons make you feel welcome and at ease. It really reflects the Wash Park neighborhood in general.

Amazing covered, heated patio that allows dogs. Summer, Winter, morning, evening this Dog Friendly restaurant is also owner friendly, providing a great place to bring your pup all year round. The Bloody Mary bar is top notch and your glass of bottomless mimosas will never be empty.

This place was fantastic!! The food was excellent, service was delightful, and the drinks were tasty. They have two great outdoor seating areas. They also have a fun Bloody Mary bar. I was surprised to see that their reviews werent higher. Would definitely come back and recommend!

The service was slower than anywhere I have been in many years. The toast was dry cardboard. I asked for butter. It never came. If you like tater tots, this is your place. But you can always find them in the frozen section at the grocery store.

The food was so good. Everything from the apps to the entree was on point. Theres not much to say except its worth a visit if youre in town and want some food that will hit the spot. Chicken nachos, fish tacos, its all good.

I love you guys! Always feel at home here. Easy to ride my bike from my house. Neighborhood feels safe even after midnight. I have been coming here for a couple months now and always have good service, even when its busy.
