The evening of July 10, 2012, I went to the local Good Times in Boulder, CO (approximately 9:30p MST) and was horrified with what I witnessed. (Good Times address: 2050 26th Street, Boulder, CO 80301). Upon reaching the walk-up order window, there was a large cockroach sitting on the outside counter. As soon as I alerted a Good Times employee, he gathered his coworkers to watch as he reached through the window (from the Good Times kitchen) and speared the cockroach with a plastic, Good Times fork. From here, the Good Times employee proceeded to put the still alive cockroach in the faces of other Good Time employees. Next, this employee and another Good Times employee proceeded to put Good Times BBQ sauce on the cockroach and pretended to feed it to one another. After several minutes of watching, in shock, the initial employee proceeded to light the cockroach on fire with a personal lighter - immediately beside a table full of Good Times food items. After dismembering the cockroach for approximately 5 minutes in the Good Times kitchen (visible to all customers), the employee discarded the cockroach in a trashcan and proceeded to make my order. Immediately following, I requested a Manager who refunded my order without question. To my surprise, the Manager was among the employees who witnessed, and participated in this disturbing act. Ive already contacted the Good Times corporate office, however, have received no notification of receipt or plan of action. For the health and safety of yourself and others, I do not recommended visiting this Good Times location.

Compared to other restaurants in its category it is definitely a step above the rest in taste, variety of ingredients, and sauces. Burgers are a little on the greasy side, but delicious. The chicken sandwiches are superb, and the fries are some of the best I have ever had hands down, love to dip them in wild sauce. A little on the pricey side compared to some other fast food restaurants but the quality is higher, the meals are big and they have a value menu with smaller portions. I have been to this location around 10 times with various people and some first timers, they all enjoyed it. So far on every visit I have had fast and friendly service from the staff. I couldnt ask for more in a fast food joint.

I like that they sell natural, antibiotic-free beef, chicken (and dairy?). The staff is always friendly and the prices are great. Id love to see a grass-fed option like Carls, but I suppose, unless all the beef is grassfed you have no way to know if youre really getting grassfed or the other beef being sold. At least here I know its ALL natural and hormone-free, and I prefer to support them becasue they do not support the commercial cattle and chicken industry. I deducted a star only becasue I didnt see anywhere that the food sold is also 100% non GMO. If they respond that it is Ill up the rating to 5 stars. Id also like to see a healthy vegetarian option. Nice people, great service, good prices.

Good Times has disappointed recently. The hamburgers are bland, even with lettuce and tomatoes and the fries are mediocre. I liked going for the onion rings but the last time i had them they were so bad I dont think Ill be able to eat them again. They were greasy with no flavor. Yuk. I do love their custard products though. And, the lemonade is good too. When they started serving breakfast I was excited but instead of a real dairy product they served Coffeemate...yew. Nope, not something this coffee snob would put in her favorite drug, not since the 1990s.

Good Times food is good, unfortunately this location frequently messed up my order and about half the time I get the breakfast burritos theres filling all over the outside of the tortilla, which Ive never had happen at any other Good Times location. So, the food is good but sometimes you dont get what you were expecting. Update: they only put tiny pieces of bacon at the bottom of breakfast burritos and stop making coffee long before they stop serving breakfast. Other locations make great breakfast, though.

Hadnt been in a couple years and this place has gone way downhill. The natural cut fries are no longer fresh cut. They used to be, but now they are McDonalds style shoestrings with some kind of coating tasting like they went straight from the freezer to the fryer. Honey mustard is some Kraft BS now. The burger meat tastes a few steps lower on quality as well. It seems Good Times has fallen into cost cutting across the board and isnt what it was. They might as well have sold the brand to McDonalds.

This restaurant is already pricey in the first place but apparently now they want to nickel and dime you for anything they can. Extra to put cheese on your cheese burger that should be on there in the first place and extra for french frie dipping sauce, give me a break how greedy. Whats next extra for ketchup and to put a bun on your burger?

This is an after a softball game kind of place. Only outdoor seating and pretty tasty fast food. They are pretty busy so wait times can be a little annoying, but they do their best. Frozen custard, guac burger, wildfries and some wild sauce is my go-to. Better option than other fast food joints in the area.

They deliberately served me cold burgers absent of patties. I wondered why the cashier gave me a strange look. Unfortunately I was in a hurry and did not discover this until driving a large distance. Do not eat there you will have better luck at any other establishment.

I dont typically like fast food much, but Good Times is amazing! Everything on the menu is delicious! Best fries, best burger, best chicken sandwich, best Ice cream! I love that they offer a couple veggie burger options as well, both of which are really good.

Hopefully you dont have food Allergies, although the staff is very friendly they dont listen to orders and constantly mess up. Even after talking to a manager this hasnt been resolved. As a Boulder store food allergies/custom orders shouldnt be uncommon

Great fast food, definitely a notch above Wendys or McDonalds. I love the buffalo chicken sandwich and the wild fries are always tasty. The onion rings are great too - good batter and lots of onion. Fast and very friendly service at the drive-thru.

Very good burgers and fries. TIP : Dont take your number and sit down at the tables. We did this and got treated like "what the heck are you doing". They clearly expect you to order and wait out front....but very affordable and good food.

Good Times simply has the best fast food burgers around. In fact, theyre even better than a bunch of those sit down places. Definitely try out their new breakfast burritos too. Oh, and banana shakes in the summer... I could go on.

After deciding to try Good Times for the first time here, I proceeded to spend the next 20 hours vomiting my guts out. This restaurant gave me food poisoning. Do not go here unless you feel like spending a day next to a toilet.

I really like the Good Times chain, but today in Boulder they gave me a cup with what looks like egg yolk on the bottom. Got all over my pants and i didnt notice until im about to meet up with some friends... thanks guys...

Service is meh. We often go there for frozen custard, but they always seem to make the frozen things before our food so were left with soupy ice cream :/ Good quality food, but a bit too greasy for my liking.
