We had a problem with the lack of salsa too. The food was good but was on the bland side so extra salsa was needed. We had tostadas (carne asado) and a chicken burrito. Cashier was very sullen and would only give us what we asked for, nothing more. When we came in the music was blasting out the door. Couldnt even hear to order. I asked the young woman to please turn down the music and she did, but not graciously. I later asked for more salsa and she grudgingly filled up my little cup. Couldve used a lot more but I was afraid to ask. I couldnt bring myself to face another scowl.

So many of these Taquerias serve decent food but this one like so many are short on favoring their food. I had a bean, cheese, and rice burrito. After a few bites it was obvious that their word "authentic" meant with no Seasoning, like so many of these restaurants. They didnt even have any salsas so I could add flavor. Just some hot sauce on the table. Not even good hot sauce. Ive tasted authentic Mexican food, this is not it. Its sad that people who eat at these eatiers think they are enjoying a true Mexican meal, when in fact, sadly they are not.

Dont waste your time with this place. Was looking for authentic Mexican and found a sub-par place with rude staff. They fill your burrito bowl with lettuce then want to charge you extra when you ask for some more cheese. Look somewhere else from Mexican and I hope the management switches out their staff. Chicken is also shredded and seems like its boiled instead of properly grilled. Front lady was not good for customer service. I visited Monday 6/26/17 at around 2 PM.

Hope you dont like salsa. Bought 2 burritos, you have to ask for salsa, and they gave 1 for each burrito. And they were those really small cups. Are you kidding me?! Asked for more, and they gave us 2 more. Lasted less than half the burrito. What kind of taqueria doesnt have a salsa bar? Very lame! The actual burrito was OK, if not on the small side. Ive had way better. If you like salsa with your Mexican food (so weird, I know!), go somewhere else.

This is our go to place for San Diego style Mexican. We get take out there all the time. The food is great. The prices are great. Just make sure they really understand the order when you place it if you customize anything.
