If I could give zero stars I would. Called Carvings Buffet before going and asked specifically if they had a bottomless mimosa brunch and I was told YES. When we went there we were two mimosas in when we were told by our waitress we could not have anymore mimosas because there is a limit of two per person (which is not stated anywhere). Asked to speak to the manager LINDA to explain the false information that was given prior over the phone and she again stated that there is only two per person and that she would talk to our waitress and give us another round. LINDA then came back and was extremely rude and insulting, didnt believe we were over 21 and asked to see our IDs (after we were already served and previously showed our IDs when we first initially purchased the buffet). Not only that, but we never received our other round. Went to complain to the manager of the hotel AL who did absolutely nothing for us but tell us to fill out a comment card (which we all know those get tossed in the garbage). Very unhappy with the service and regret being a rewards member. Will NOT be coming back. Go to Silver Legacy and the FLAVORS Buffet. Way better food, service, and experience not to mention they have bottomless champagne and mimosas. Harrahs needs to step up their game.

We came to Reno after a 5 day stay at Caesars in Las Vegas. We had comped a 2 night stay as a part of our total rewards so we decided to stop on our way to Cali. Our room was anything but pleasurable, but I knew we werent in Vegas anymore so I knew my standards couldnt be as high. We decided to stop for dinner since it was Friday night and the crowd looked large, thats normally a good sign right? Wrong. We waited for 20 minutes for a server to come and take our drink order. There was food scattered everywhere on the floor. The food was filler and nothing to pay 60 dollars for. Near the dessert line there was chocolate sauce smeared across the floor and no one seemed to care. Our plates from the buffet were not picked up by our server the entire duration of our stay. Extremely disappointed and needless to say we will not be back.

Harrahs Carvings Buffett is located just outside the Diamond Lounge. Its just like any other buffet only here theres a Diamond seating area. All meals for TR of diamond or higher get a complimentary wine or champagne. For some reason this buffet doesnt have much kids running around fiddling with tongs and ladles. Servers are spot on bringing wet package napkins when they see anyone cracking crab legs. I would highly recommend the hot food section to start before salad and soup. The value is certainly there. Desserts are not as good as Vegas buffet. Whipped cream are from aerosol cans and tart/pie mold are frozen premade just finished with filling and serve.

I was expecting a lot more for this buffet since the hotel is quite nice and the price is pretty high. They had us wait for about half an hour even though many seats were available. The food selections was very limited that we got bored so quickly that should never happen in a buffet restaurant. The food was dry and not so interesting. There is no, not even one sugar free dessert here. I had never been to a casino buffet where has no sugar free option in dessert. I would have been furious and complained if I came here without BOGO coupon. It was the first and the last time for us to eat in this buffet restaurant.

I am a Diamond player and I have to say Harrahs Reno is definitely a place where I will no longer visit! The rooms are dirty the AC filter intake was filthy the rail on the closet door was loose not to mention alot of other stuff. The restaurants are Horrible the buffet doesnt even open till 10Am which is a joke so you will be forced to go to Hashhouse a gogo where the food came out cold eggs and so called grilled mash. After sending it back it came out warmer and tasting like horrible cheap buffet food. I will not be wasting my money at this place ever again. I would advise you to do the same.

For a gaming hotel buffet, this place is just average. You get the usual buffet food fare. They do have the best crepe in town! Additionally, for Reno locals the 50% discount is tough to beat. However, customer service is not their strongest point. The servers behind the counters seem overworked and exuding the aura that they dont like their jobs (lots of smirks and no smile at all!). Youve been forewarned!

Went there for sunday night buffet. The food is not that good. The sushi looked awful and the chinese food didnt look much better. The stand out was the prime rib but for the price of the buffet, $22, it is not worth good prime rib. The dessert was very good and the ice cream, vanilla and chocolate was delicious with nice toppings. I wouldnt spend good money here, too high priced for the quality of food.

Horrible customer experience. The manager there, MIKE, treated our family like worthless individuals. Very very rude and unprofessional and specifically said since we are locals he doesnt have to offer us the same service since we get a local discount. I was floored by the visit here and would never recommend anyone here.

The food is good and they have a variety of options. Also, their cheesecake is delicious. They dont have any jellow or fruit. The atmosphere is fine but is too simple and not good looking. Too boring. Also, the workers are so not friendly. However, food and cheesecake is good and if you are local you get a discount.

This was my first time to the buffet and I thought it was very good. Went Thursday night for dinner 10.99 for adults kids couple bucks cheaper. Then went for lunch on Friday was very pleased for lunch also. Lunch was $8.50 for adults and $6.50 for children.

It was ok. Had to wait in line almost 30 minutes for one crepe and there were only three people ahead of me. The woman making the crepes was re-stoking desserts and cleaning, as well as making crepes. Food was ok, not great.

Not the best quality of food. The waitress was not as attentive as we would have hoped. The line for the crepes was far too long while ultimately they are worth it wouldnt hurt to have two people on it during peak times.

4 stars as far as buffets go, I try not to judge buffets against proper restaurants. Good variety of food and was all pretty fresh. Had a 2 for 1 coupon so the two us ate for under $20. Pretty amazing desserts.

Decent buffet for a GREAT price. Make sure you get a total rewards card for discount prices and a locals sticker drops it even lower! Not fancy like some other buffets in Reno, but for the price its worth it.

Great buffet. Food always constantly rotated and fresh. In the morning, the eggs station prepares your eggs to order. There is an Asian noodle bar, that too, made to order. Big desert bar.
