I was so excited to see this new ramen place had opened up right by my apartment! I have to say... watch out Orenchi Ramen, theres a new noodle house on the block. I came in during lunch time on a week day, so it wasnt packed and I was seated promptly. Everyone was very friendly, and my order came out quickly. They have a pretty simple menu, and I decided to go for the small Shoyu Ramen (soy sauce broth base, pork). It was delicious. If you are someone who likes Shoyu Ramen, then this is absolutely going to be the place for you. The ramen had a great variety of veggies, the pork was tender and delicious and the noodles were perfectly cooked. Most importantly, the soft boiled egg was perfect, which added a touch of creaminess to the broth. You also get free edamame with your order which is a really nice touch and helps make the waiting time seem a lot shorter. For $7.95 a bowl, this place is both affordable and delicious. I love that they have different ramen bowl sizes, and I absolutely will be back.

Really interesting broth they used here, but I loved it! They have a seafood broth for some of their ramen, which me and my girlfriend tried. She got the Clam Ramen and I got the Seafood Ramen. We got the small and it satisfied our hunger. If youre really hungry upgrade to the large and you should be good. Soft boiled egg does not come standard in some of the ramen so be sure to include it if this is a necessary addition to your ideal bowl (does cost a $1 extra). I would say its worth it because they do marinate it and it does taste more awesome. The space itself is a bit cozy, so large groups (greater than 8) maybe a bit difficult (although possible) to accomodate. They played Reggae as the background music to the restaurant not sure if this is common but me and my girl loved the tunes (who doesnt love Bob Marley while you chow down on some Ramen! haha) Great spot well be coming back here whenever were in the area!

Came and had the Ramen. I liked the food but not the service. The waitress had no welcoming face and when I had the check I realized that Ieft my wallet in the car and fortunately I had my Samsung phone which has Samsung pay which works everywhere except this one, it did not work here not because it technically doesnt just because they rigidly denied it, no matter how I explained that they would get the payment at an instinct, they wouldnt allow and replied strongly saying that : you are in our restaurant so you have to follow our rule! What a rule!!! Having decided not to waste time arguing and I went back to my car about a few minutes away to get my wallet. Just reminding myself not to come any more thanks to the excellent service and their way of dealing with customers.

This is one of the very very few places that got the ramen egg just right, so definitely come here if youre craving the perfect ramen egg. We had the tonkotsu and miso soup bases but neither was very good. The miso soup was too thick and overpowered the flavours from the roast pork. The tonkotsu soup had a good first taste to it but was very milky after having a couple of spoons. I cant recommend the soups here but Id come back for the eggs. We also had karaage chicken, and the batter was good but had an inner gelatin layer between the chicken and batter which was not as enjoyable. However, the mayonnaise that came with the chicken made up for it. They also had some bay area Japanese newspapers which were nice to read while waiting for a table.

Been here twice in one week already! Im so glad there is a good ramen place in Sunnyvale. I do like Myzen Ramen better, but Ramen Seas is more convenient. I like the Miso ramen but my hubby likes the Tonkotsu ramen. The ramen is yummy and I especially like the bamboo in the Miso ramen. The downside is that theres a lot of floating fat in the both. The small ramen was enough for me, whereas my husband got the set which came out with regular sized ramen in addition to the kimchi and pork on rice - a very decent amount for a hungry man. You can avoid a wait for dinner if you show up early. We went around 6pm today and no wait :)

Service is great! The decor of this place is casual and cozy, and the dividers in between tables allow customers a little more privacy. The ramen is alright. The miso base with spicy sauce had the strongest flavor (its a heavier broth), all other soup base, including tonkatsu and vegetable broth, were all rather bland. The grilled rice balls were delicious, especially when paired with the sliced pickled cucumbers. Tip: 1) Always add a soft boiled egg to your ramen 2) Park in the Macys parking lot if you are visiting downtown Sunnyvae during busy hours

Tried to go to Dish Dash but the wait was an hour and thats a dealbreaker when you have a two-year-old in tow. So we walked across the street to Ramen Seas, and Im glad we did. Pretty small place, so we were lucky to get in when there were still a few open tables. I thought their ramen noodles were just the right texture, and I liked the broth. I substituted pork belly for chashu, and while M doesnt like the thick-cut cubes, I thought they were fine. We also got a few appetizers- squid legs, chicken, and oysters. All were pretty good. =)

Nice little place but I didnt think it was anything special. Amongst us we got three small bowls of ramen, simmered gyoza, and a small donburi bowl. The majority of the group liked the ramen enough but wasnt blown away. The donburi is different than any Ive ever had; instead of cooked egg on top it had what I think was a hollandaise sauce as the egg component. An interesting take on the food. Its a small place with a cool atmosphere. I wouldnt recommend coming with a huge group, but itd be good for a family of four.

I used to travel to Japan few times a year and it was then got me really into ramen. I think this place deserves a solid 4/5. Regular ramen is a bit small but more than enough for a hungry girl like me. I ordered lunch special for $10 and it comes with a side dish and a tonkatsu ramen. I thought the theres no egg in my ramen so I accidentally pay $1 for another egg. The only thing that can be improved is the pork, its a little bit dry and should be marinated for longer to get the flavor. I will come back.

I had no idea ramen joints existed in Sunnyvale! A friend and I decided to check this place out since we didnt feel like dealing with parking in downtown Mountain View in order to have ramen on a Friday night. I was pleasantly surprised with how flavorful the spicy tonkotsu ramen was. We both ordered a large, which honestly could have been a little more generous with the noodles. I ended up ordering extra noodles, which ended up being a ~$15 ramen. Id definitely visit it again.

Cozy place on Murphy Avenue with good collection of Japanese beers. The pork broth of the Tonkotsu Ramen was very rich and the ramen noodles cooked exactly to the point! What needs improving about this dish: (1) give one more piece of pork and (2) slice the meat to about as third as thick as it is now. That would make for a near authentic ramen experience like in Tokyo. One regular size Tonkotsu Ramen and Sapporo beer ran to $16, plus tip.
