This place surprises me at every instance I come here. The first time a noodle shop that got me into a food coma just right after the meal. I ate just one bowl of ramen, and thats a big compliment for a big guy like me. I was definitely full afterwards. I walked around the marshals to exercise the calories I just intake... and I headed to the car. Immediately, I fell into a food coma where I just didnt want to drive. I eased down the chair and slept for a good 30 mins. Thats good ramen! The next visit I made, I tried the appetizers and dessert. Very good. I recommend trying the appetizers and dessert. The ambience of Ramen Jinya is very pleasing and authentic. I have had ramen at a few other places, but nothing comes to genuine and authentic is Ramen Jinya. The staff is very accommodating and warming.

I am from the East Coast and had not had true Ramen, so a friend of mine took me to this place for lunch, having only had Not Ramen (you know the ones that you get in college?). Anyway I had the (I will probably get the name wrong) Pork Tongayashu (HOT). I must say that this was nothing like the bowls of ramen you get in a cup. The pork broth was extremely flavorful and extremely complex. I do like salt so I did not find it overly salty. Some may disagree. I tasted no off flavors, and could tell that there are many spices and care made into the broth. There were bits of soft pork meat throughout the broth. The spices were not too hot for me. Now know Im going to have to try some other places in the East Coast if I see them. Im sure there are some in NYC.

I like this place a lot! It has plenty of seating inside and out. I used to order here about once a month, at least, because I loved their Tonkatsu Red. Unfortunately, they stopped serving it. That made me so sad. Especially since I kept telling friends and family to try this place specifically for the Tonkatsu Red. The egg is awesomely flavorful. Ive never had an egg at a ramen place quite like the one youll find here. Jinyas egg is actually seasoned and the yolk is left a bit runny, like it is supposed to be. But other than the ramen, their Jinya Bun is pretty tasty too. The "sushi rolls" are not exactly anything special. Their spicy "rolls" arent even remotely spicy.

My husband and I first visited this new ramen noodle place last week and LOOOOVED it! They specialize in ramen noodle dishes, obviously, but also have several salad options, some rice bowls and sushi. I got the spicy ramen soup (spicy mild) and a california roll, and my husband got the Tokyo curry rice and a california roll. It was good, high quality authentic Japanese yumminess. The best thing? Theyre open until 10pm most days and midnight on the weekend, PLUS open on Sundays when Daichan (just across the street) is closed! Will I be going back?

I would give this place a zero stars, waited almost 2 hours to have the host ignore our party of 7, he kept pushing all the small parties instead of using hes common sense to place 2 tables together and sit my family. Ridiculous every time we asked how much longer for us to be sitted hed say you are next.. ended up leaving after wasting our time just down the street to Renos they sat us down immediately. Poor service at Ramen Jinya do not take big parties theyll waste your time.

We stumble upon this place while looking for a late night ramen place. Their original broth is fantastic and brings a new revision to the traditional shoyu based broth. The egg noodle that they use is superb and cooked just the way i like it. The charsu meat is so tender and delicious it literally melts in your mouth. The cherry on the top for this restaurant would have to be their very friendly and attentive staff. I would definitly refer this place to any ramen lover!

I get my hair done in the same shopping center as Ramen Jinya. Every single time Ive been there, theres been a wait. Yesterday, it was rainy and wonderful weather for Ramen so after my hair appt I got take out for us. This was REALLY good Ramen. Now, I get why there is a wait. We had the spicy chicken ramen (Spicy) and the Spicy Umami Miso Ramen. We loved both of ours, though the Spicy Umami wasnt really spicy. We will definitely be getting this again!

Got here @ 9:20pm Monday, Presidents Day. Being seated promptly. They have tables outside as well, pretty cool. Ordered their Jinya No. 1, No. 2, No. 3 and classic. Good size bowl of noodles. Noodles arrived! Start digging! O man! Amazing noodles, soup and the hardboiled egg! The egg is the best Ive ever had! The yolk is still semi liquid! Amazing! The soup base is really good too! Im stuffed afterwards! I couldnt finish the soup!

This is one of my favorite places to eat Ramen but I tend to favor the Pork Chashu Bowl every time I come here. One of my new favorites is the Kale Chips. When you think of Kale you dont think it is something that is great tasting but it is. It is served with a special seasoned salt. The restaurant is very popular. Depending on what time you go to the restaurant, there could be a long wait to be seated especially in the evenings.

Had a terrible experience tonight 10/31/16 at 6:30pm at Jinya. Not only did I ask politely to remove items from my ramen. I spoke to the manager and insenstively denied the following requests. I was so appalled I didnt eat anything at all. With that type of customer service I was not going give them any of my business. Instead of putting the customer first with food allergy or food sensitivity and caring about just money.

This place has some of the best ramen I have tasted and I eat Japanese food pretty much on the daily! However, better than the food was the service. My friend and I were served by a waitress named Sarai and she was just the sweetest and most professional woman, she just made the experience even more enjoyable. The entire staff was just amazing, I recommend this place 100% and will be returning with more friends next time!

The spicy umani Miso is not as spicy as the one I have in other restaurants. I am not a fun for spicy so if I can handle it, it is not spicy at all. The cha cha cha looked awesome on photos and in description but the broth were not as good as expected. The avocado roll was delicious and we typically have that twice a week and this place added salt to the rice and amazingly enhances the flavor of the avocado.

Ive been going here since 10 or 12. Their Ramen is very flavorful, definitely a spot to check out! Ive been on a plant based diet for over 2 years now and I wasnt very fond of their vegetable ramen. I heard they had a new vegan option, which I had the pleasure to try. Its fantastic and extremely delicious! If youre on a plant based diet or just want to try something new you wont regret the Spicey Vegan Ramen.
