They simply deserve a 5 star for having unlimited mimosas until 4pm!!!! Saturday and Sunday get outta town. This fact makes it out it spot to go to when no one can wake up early enough to go somewhere else lol. I actually love this place Ive been here for dinner and brunch on the weekends In fact I had a table of my close friends roast me, have brunch and mimosas for my birthday this year it was great. Service has ALWAYS been great, cant complain Just make sure you reserve a table outside wayyyyy before hand if you wanna sit outside, its very limited and during the weekend people stay forever. The brunch deal is great, Comes with a simple starter, I always order the antipasto which comes with smoked salmon. French and simple. Ive also ordered the eggs Benedict, chicken cesar salad and French toast. Good each time. I rarely even eat 1/2 of my entree Im full from the mimosas and antipasto plate. Of course dont drink too much and get crazy its not one of those places. Handle your mimosas please lol. Ive also tried the escargot Steak and fries and onion soup $20 um yesss Ill continue to come back and bring people to enjoy a nice day or night. La Frite used to be our favorite place for special occasions, it no longer will be. We hadnt been back since the renovation. The change in decor doesnt add much, took away the cosy atmosphere. The food was not what it used to be. My husband ordered the crepes which in the past were great. He said it was dry and tasteless, and wondered if hotpockets would have been better. I ordered the salmon on a bed of spinach. Very little spinach. The potatoes were overly salted. They added some tomato salsa which didnt help. All I tasted was garlic and salt. The salmon would have been better without the additions, which totally ruined the taste with overpowering garlic and salt. We left very disappointed and will not be back. No improvement here.

La Frite is a fabulous French Cafe in Sherman Oaks. It just celebrated its 45th Anniversary in May and I cant say enough about the service and food that they serve here. I have been a fan of this restaurant for years. Some of the best things on the menu are: Chateau Brian, Filet Mignon w/Bernaise Sauce, and their delicious Crepes. You will not be sorry when you enter this quaint, homey atmosphere and are swept away by the friendliness of the establishment. Moderately priced for the quality and service it gives each customer. Stop by and try one of their specials. You will not be sorry you did.

Came here on Bastille Day for a dinner with some friends. The server was very attentive and helpful. The vibe in the restaurant reminds me of a Paris bistro. It is dark and intimate, and would be great for a date. The food was very authentic and delicious. I had the coq au vin, which was one of the best Ive ever had. My boyfriend had the scallops and they were tasty as well. Cant recommend enough!

After reading the reviews I was hesitant to try...but persistence won out and I was delightfully suprised....the maitre de was charming and quick to accomdate our party..the waiter was knowledgable and not pushy as in some restaurants...I would definitely recommend the Sherman Oaks La Frite for its intimacy, good staffing and good food!!

We have been eating there for years. The food is always delicious especially the chocolate souffle, it takes at least 30 minutes to prepare, order early. The menu has been updated through the years but they kept some of the old favorites. They prepare some wonderful salads if you dont want a full entree.

This is by far the best Sunday Brunch spot in Sherman Oaks. The staff is always attentive and friendly and the bloody marys are outstanding. Do not miss the bloody mary flight. Cheers to Seline and her team for creating such a wonderful atmosphere and such great food!

I ordered a crepe from them I forgot which one but, although it was alittle pricey, it was totally worth it. it was the BEST I have ever tasted. the ambiance and service was great. They were very freindly too. Definetly will be going back with some freinds!

Always incredible food, drinks, and superb service. Do not be fooled by their tiny, humble exterior! Honestly, the best authentic French food in Los Angeles and surrounding counties. The value is unmatched by any restaurant I have been to hands down.

Really fantastic food. Ive never had a bad meal here. My favorites included the fresh mussels, the chateaubriand chopped steak, the salmon with caviar, and all of their desserts! They make great savory and sweet crepes too!

New menu not and changes not as good as the original. The prices are very high for the options offered. Service is mediocre. The original La Frite was amazing, I used to go 2x a month. Very disappointed will not be back.

The brunch was amazing. For $27 you get a 3 course breakfast with bottomless mimosas. I was expecting small portions, but almost couldnt finish everything. All of the food was excellent.
