I get a small cake from them every year on Christmas. I called them last week to verify their policy on orders. They told me to call 48 hours before I needed the cake. I called today, exactly 48 hours in advance, and the manager said they werent taking any more special orders before Christmas, even after I explained what the previous employee told me. Shame on them. I am VERY disappointed, not only for their last-minute change in policy, but for the managers complete lack of empathy. Now I have to scramble around looking for a substitute. Wow. I will NEVER give them any more of my business.

We needed to send a food gift to a friend in Santa Rosa. The Village Bakery did an incredible job for us. They catered flowers, sandwich and salad and a basket of sweets to our friend - who commented on the friendly deliveryman and the gorgeous presentation of everything. I look forward on my next visit to Santa Rosa to personally visit this bakery!.

Just had a our first visit to Village Bakery in Santa Rosa and found the entire experience to be delightful; excellent, light Quiche Lorraine and a latte for lunch, well-priced in a business where the sky evidently is the limit. Very knowledgeable, low-key service. Well be back very soon.

Great place for coffee in the morning and they make a fabulous princess cake with Marzipan as well as the number of other specialty breads... if you like oatmeal cookies like I do you love them.
