I had a 30 minute lunch break and came in to buy bagels and cream cheese. All of the lines were so long it was unreal. By the time I finally get checked out I have only about 5 minutes left to get back to work!! Then when I get my receipt, I notice they overcharged me for the cream cheese. The checker sends me and a bag boy to go doublecheck the price, when we come back and confirm that the price was wrong she didnt even know how to fix the problem, and told me to go to customer service--- but the customer service line was HUGE and at this point I had 2 minutes to be back at work. I told her I couldnt wait in that line, and she tried to get help but multiple other employees simply told me I had to "wait in line at customer service". I was already late for work so I just left. I have never been so frustrated with a shopping experience. The employees were incompetent and nobody was willing to help me. If you have this much foot traffic, hire more employees. And you need to train them better because they dont seem to know what theyre doing.

The need a lot more cashiers or at least ones that are efficient!! Also, I once waited 20 mins to be noticed at the sandwich counter at first I was annoyed but eventually I turned it into a sort waiting game as I was listening to the work place gossip coming, very loudly, from the back. Another time, I went to get their Chinese food, I was distracted and I wasnt actually looking at the food. When I went up to pay for it... at the deli counter, the girl ignored me. Well, this also gave me time to notice that my noodles were hard and there were more veggies than meat. I left it on the counter and heard "really" as I left. **I have not had a bad experience getting the salads or sliced meats but those were separate occasions I love the Starbucks in there. The girls are bubbly and happy. It was Thanksgiving even and the girl wanted to hear all about my dinner and plans and family like we were old friends.

This Safeway is seriously mismanaged. At peak times it is ALWAYS understaffed. They might have every register open with lines crossing the main aisle, with one (or even zero) kids bagging. The cashiers are SO slow. Just check me out, not try to have a drawn out conversation. PLEASE put in self checkout lines!!!!!! Also, its become common for very sketchy people to loiter outside it lately, smoking near the doors, sleeping in their run down cars on the side parking lot, etc. The store is cramped, as is the parking lot. We despise going to this Safeway so much that weve often gone in very late to buy groceries to avoid zombies shambling around the store, or sitting in creeping checkout lines. Im SO praying that someone builds another supermarket on the other side of I-5 some day!

They have security guards that watch women backsides. He is a pervert that uses his position to stare at women like he us a strip club. The management didnt have a problem with this but made alot of excuses. I caught him in 15 min peering at 5 women like a pervert watching women through a home window just short of stroking himself. If you care about the women in your life you wont shop there. And Corperate Office also doesnt care. This was put up 2 weeks ago and somehow they got it erased off the review. Hes a white male large size short hair and has a tall skinny guy that works with him.

The employees are extremely ignorant to safeways policies. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was told he was " busy" watching the self check out area. When finally " attended to" I was approached by a verry rude man that had no intentions on hearing what I had to say. Stay away from safeway!!! Why buy something that keeps you alive, from somebody that doesnt care.

They do not have enough cashiers EVER!! You WILL wait in a long line every time you go there. If you order anything at the deli that needs to be prepared for you, they will openly complain about it. This is a poorly managed store. I live right by it and after putting up with this nonsense for 2 years, Ill make the drive to shop elsewhere from now on.

Food from here expires very fast a lot of the time. Had a bad experience with the bakery department. I had a question about icing from the bakery since they didnt have the color i needed in the isle, and even though they could have sold me icing from the bakery in any color, the clerk pushed me to just buy from the isle and leave her alone.....

This Safeway deli is the worst one in Thurston County. Most of the employees have poor public relation skills. They act like its a burden on them to help you. Today they told me that they couldnt make me a breakfast sandwich because someone didnt turn the oven on so its going to take awhile to warm up. Its always a?struggle here.

Safeway is getting to the point of a discount grocery store. No checkers, no one to ask where anything is & at premium prices. Then good luck going to the customer service counter to buy a lottery ticket. Waited & waited & waited & waited to get a lottery ticket. They could of used three people behind that counter today.

Not one of the newer stores in the area but still a go to spot to get quick stuff. Because its smaller than most, the selection is a little light in new brands and in the produce area however you can still get your staple shopping done here no problem. The staff is nice and they keep the store really clean too.

Safeway generally is a bargain, low-quality grocery store. This is more of the same. Sometimes I want to want to like Safeway, but I just cant. It never feels good to be there. At least the staff arent completely disconnected like they seem to be at other Safeway stores.

Good selection of food and drinks. Most of the items are a bit pricey, but they have a lot to choose from for the price conscious such as I. Check out is a bit of a hassle though as there are a lot of people to get through and not enough room nor registers for them all

When I asked for help, they were courteous and pointed me in the right direction. I never shop during peak hours, so it never seems understaffed to me, but the deli food leaves something to be desired.

Pretty good store with a wide variety and good fresh produce but it is not as nice as other Safeways and haggens down the interstate. I believe it is due to the local area.

Didnt have what I was looking for. Not that I knew anyway but the short blonde pharmacist lady was super sexy and helpful nonetheless. I might go back, just because.
